Current So, how many of you are willing to learn the power to believe in yourselves? XD

I think I'm cursed. Seriously, it seems like when I join an RP I really wanna get into and enjoy, 9 times out of 10, said RP grinds to a near halt and what not.

Bio

Gamer here. Nobody special, just someone making his way through life one day at a time, working towards
a brighter future. I'm looking for roleplays that have more of a Supernatural vibe to them, or Urban Fantasy,
something involving Super Powers, or even something Anime-Inspired. Any of these will do.

My Skype name is the same as on here. As for other interesting things? Well...Cracker Chips are actually quite
delicious XD

I'm something of an Otaku so I'm a fan of shows like Kamen Rider, GARO, Pretty Cure (or Magical Girl Shows in general),
Ultraman, and what not.

Will probably update this when I got more to talk about.

@GamerXZ The Pax Domes could grant your character powers. I mean there's a chance you could have been vacationing in one of the cities when it happened.

Hmm, good point. A simple and straightforward method to gaining powers. Thanks.

Figure I should ask but how long has the Pax Domes incident been on for in the IC thread?

What route do you want to take in it's manifestation? Magical, Mutation or an accident like the Pax Metahumana?

Or stumbling upon an object that does that like a fountain pen or paintbrush.

Maybe something magical?

Originally I was thinking of that Pax Metahumana event but since I learned the situation's mostly under control right now, and the domes aren't expanding that fast,I'm not so sure of using them.
Say,um, what would you guys recommend would be a good way for my guy to have gotten his power to bring things to life by drawing them?

@GamerXZ

I can't speak for Ded but I'd guess that if you aren't in the above cities you won't get powers from the event. However there's always other ways to get powers. I'd also assume that we plan on stopping the domes via taking out the big bad before they can expand too far.

These are all assumptions. So.take them with a grain of salt.

Ok, cause I was thinking that my character got his powers from being exposed to one of those domes like you mentioned earlier as an idea XD

I would probably go with "Other" for that.

And as far as the Domes go, that would be a good question for @Dedonus

Ok, thanks. XD
Sorry for the double posts but just want to ask, how fast is that human-altering energy dome expanding?
It depends on how powerful the constructs are, and how you use it, really.

If you go and draw, say, every comic book, video game, and movie character you can think of, and they have all their powers somehow, yes. Completely overpowered and IMO, kind of random and silly.

But if it you use the abilities sensibly and it makes sense in game, it can be quite interesting. But my concern with a powerset like that is that it can easily fall into camp, which wouldn't quite fit with this setting. But if it's done right, it can absolutely work.

Alright, thanks for your input. I'll take some time and get a character sheet up XD
<Snipped quote by GamerXZ>

.....Not necessarily.

Oh, hey Nite. So, what makes you say that? Cause from what I know, the ability to bring things to life by drawing them can be quite the Game Breaker.
