Bio

Well hello.

I guess I should introduce myself, huh.

I'm Gardevoiran, just some schmuck going to college and working towards getting a degree in Fine Arts.

I do commissions and what-not, and you can ask me to do a commission for you through my Discord (Gardevoiran #1429) or up here through RPGuild PMs, and I receive donations and payment through my Ko-fi page. Clicking the box right below here will take you to it.

I'm a nerd. I play Pokemon religiously, I dabble in some anime, I write up here, and I love watching incredibly awful movies and just making fun of them. Specifically things like "Leo the Lion" and what not.

I don't have much else to say, so I guess I can leave you guys with a really bad joke.

"What do you call a cow with two legs?"
"Lean beef."

Apia Wingstar ~ The Hivemother
The Tree
Shoutouts to 1001fonts for messing up my deal and being offline. Dunno what happened.

Apia stepped back outside of the school. The day had ended, and while normally there was supposed to be some club activities for the Detention Club that she should attend, they were apparently canceled for the day. Odd, but she didn't exactly complain. With the addition of some new Light Girls that thought they were apparently higher and mightier than Apia and her S.O. (which was complete bullshit), Apia strayed away from the club over the last few meetings. She still attended when she had to, but she stayed incredibly silent while she was there. She didn't want to get too far in over her head accidentally due to her mouth.

But, she didn't care about the club right now. Apia was heading to the tree she spent her time at afterschool. Her mom always picked her up after club activities, and since those were canceled today, she had a few hours to kill. Unfortunate, but true, though she didn't mind. Really, it only was a nuisance on days with bad weather. When she finally got to the tree, she placed her bag on the branch she normally hung her stuff on before sitting down against the trunk of the tree and looking around her.

The tree was relatively uninteresting from a distance, though it was certainly clear Apia spent a ton of time here and made sure it was going to look nice. There were all sorts of wildflowers around its base, and there was even a mysterious beehive hanging down from a branch. Apia wanted the tree to be a relaxing place for her, and she made that so.

She held out a finger for a lone bee to sit on for a moment as she looked back towards the school. Would Hana be visiting the tree today, she wondered.

Dodging

"Catch!"

Mastar turned to face wherever she heard Evelyn's voice for a moment after getting smacked in the head with her tar, seemingly knocking the hero down to the ground as she went liquid, becoming a mere puddle. For a moment, the puddle laid dormant before it started to reform, moving back slightly to try and get a little more distance from Protean before slowly forming back into the standard shape of Mastar... minus one whole arm. Guess that's how much tar was used in the removing of some of Protean's mass.

She looked to the side to see Tiger Lilly coming back with... a confoam grenade?! Where'd she get that? It was a smart idea indeed, but how well would it work, too? Mastar wanted to help contribute to the plan, but she was fairly certain that she'd throw another slice of chaos into it and it'd just murk up the plan. Quickly, Mastar looked around the hall before noticing the ceiling tiles. She knew that they opened up, so it wouldn't be a stretch to say that she could definitely crawl through them and possibly get the drop on Protean.

"Welp, see you guys in a second~!" Mastar commented as she stretched out, two legs quickly shrinking down to one pillar and her arm stretching out, knocking aside the panel she was under. With one fluid jump, Mastar slinked her way into the ceiling and started to move towards Protean.

As soon as she was above him (or as soon as she guessed she was, anyway), she began to gently shift some more of the ceiling tiles. There was a lot of ruckus going on below, so she didn't think he could dodge out from under her, though if he did start to change shape, Mastar would drop another arm of globbed tar down onto him quickly. If he didn't and simply stood there, Mastar would wait to see the effects of everyone else's attack on him. In the case that the projection and containment foam worked, Mastar wouldn't drop. She'd just go back to her allies. If nothing worked and she had an opening, she'd lob a much heftier amount of tar onto him, most certainly two limbs worth, in an effort to try and keep him on fire and further weaken him.

As much as she wanted to get down to invade him, she realized that if she took any collateral she'd be done for. It was sucky, sure, but she did appreciate Messiah and the other's powers and assistance. Maybe they could still do this...

Welp, there went that idea. Hopefully he'd still be okay finding his way back. As long as he followed the stream he'd be fine, anyway.

Oh dear, he was already out of Mana? Rock Spire certainly had a large cost to it, but hey, he got the skill up out of using it, too, so that was pretty good. He just needed to recover some magic so he wouldn't be caught vulnerable to the world. It wasn't a super big risk, but with that pixie over there being shifty, he couldn't take many chances. Speaking of that Pixie... "It's alright! I'm not gonna hurt'cha!" he called to the pixie before sitting down near some plants and looking at them.

The world had elements aligned to it, right? It's how Digbie got his Stone-Hardened variant and Mystic variant, so there could be a possibility that there was a Natural Element. Maybe there was, and he heard about it, but he didn't remember. All he knew was that it might be really beneficial for him to invest some time into studying these plants, maybe figuring out if they could help him unlock some more potential. Probably not, unless he channeled a Mana Orb through the plants, but it was worth a shot.

Digbie studied the plants in front of him with both {Plant Analysis} and {Magic Analysis} before remembering the shadow on his face. He still had that flower from when he evolved. It seemed to grow back pretty easily, actually. Maybe it had some magical properties to it, as well? Figuring it was worth a shot, Digbie used {Plant Analysis} and {Magic Analysis} on it as well, seeing what he could figure out.

After all that, he gazed back towards the Mole Run. He'd keep going down that path, but he wanted to make sure he'd survive the trail first.

yup. back

Sorry for double posting. I wanted to get this done but I didn't want to edit it into the first post in case it was overlooked by anyone.

I await for you guys to nitpick everything wrong with it.
Well well. I seem to have been led here.

I'm honestly just hoping to bury the hatchet with what happened. Gonna work on an application in the meantime.

Questions

"Oh... uh..." Eve stopped when the woman referred to her by name. How did she know her name? Eve certainly didn't remember hers if they had met before... wait, they have met before, right? Oh Christ, she's never met this woman, has she? How did this woman know her name if they've never met? Maybe she worked in the government? That'd explain it somehow, if it did, but if that's the case, why not meet her at her house? How'd she know that Eve was gonna be here?

Eve took a moment to calm down and sigh. She was asking way too many questions. If push came to shove, she knew she could get out of there in a jiffy. It'd probably ruin her identity, but hey, it might not. When the suited woman finally passed her, though, that was a little annoying. Reluctantly, Eve followed behind, her claws scraping against the pavement. It wasn't very comfortable, but it wasn't too bad as long as she sat down later.

"So... uh... excuse me if I'm forgetting, but who are you?"
... I actually don't have much to add for this update. Unless someone wants to come and get the old man, I think I'll be sitting this round out.
