Well hello.
I guess I should introduce myself, huh.
I'm Gardevoiran, just some schmuck going to college and working towards getting a degree in Fine Arts.
I do commissions and what-not, and you can ask me to do a commission for you through my Discord (Gardevoiran #1429) or up here through RPGuild PMs, and I receive donations and payment through my Ko-fi page. Clicking the box right below here will take you to it.
I'm a nerd. I play Pokemon religiously, I dabble in some anime, I write up here, and I love watching incredibly awful movies and just making fun of them. Specifically things like "Leo the Lion" and what not.
I don't have much else to say, so I guess I can leave you guys with a really bad joke.
"What do you call a cow with two legs?" "Lean beef."
Shoutouts to 1001fonts for messing up my deal and being offline. Dunno what happened.
Apia stepped back outside of the school. The day had ended, and while normally there was supposed to be some club activities for the Detention Club that she should attend, they were apparently canceled for the day. Odd, but she didn't exactly complain. With the addition of some new Light Girls that thought they were apparently higher and mightier than Apia and her S.O. (which was complete bullshit), Apia strayed away from the club over the last few meetings. She still attended when she had to, but she stayed incredibly silent while she was there. She didn't want to get too far in over her head accidentally due to her mouth.
But, she didn't care about the club right now. Apia was heading to the tree she spent her time at afterschool. Her mom always picked her up after club activities, and since those were canceled today, she had a few hours to kill. Unfortunate, but true, though she didn't mind. Really, it only was a nuisance on days with bad weather. When she finally got to the tree, she placed her bag on the branch she normally hung her stuff on before sitting down against the trunk of the tree and looking around her.
The tree was relatively uninteresting from a distance, though it was certainly clear Apia spent a ton of time here and made sure it was going to look nice. There were all sorts of wildflowers around its base, and there was even a mysterious beehive hanging down from a branch. Apia wanted the tree to be a relaxing place for her, and she made that so.
She held out a finger for a lone bee to sit on for a moment as she looked back towards the school. Would Hana be visiting the tree today, she wondered.
• Name: Apia Wingstar • Title: Hivemother, previously the Queen Bee. • Age: 16 • Emblem: A hairband stylized to look like Bee Antennae. • D. Arm: Stinger - A rapier with a toxic touch. Being stabbed • Magic: Apia's kit revolves around being a bee, through and through. It's not the most complex kit, sure, but it gets the job done well enough. - Poisonous Stings : Applied via a good jab from her Stinger. The poison is fast acting and can quickly cause someone to crash down entirely within a minute of being untreated or unhealed. Originally, the poison was simply meant to weaken an opponent and allow for her minions to find their target easily, but after the corruption the poison has the potential to become paralytic, and prolonged and gracious exposure to the poison can be fatal. - Flight : She's got wings for a reason. - Beemancy : As a magical ability, Apia can direct any sort of beelike or hornetlike creature into a swarm, which she can use to defend herself or attack enemies. Upon her transformation, she can summon a swarm of up to 250 units to her aid, and can summon more to her aid using her magical reserves. Originally, she could summon bigger swarms, but now her swarms can consist of larger insects than normal, including the asian giant hornet and killer bees. - Honey Generation : Using very small amounts of magic, Apia can create small amounts of honey from nothing, and pollen can be subbed in for magic. Why is this useful? It usually isn't...
• Background: A daughter of beekeepers, Apia spent her life wandering around a honey farm outisde of Miso City, learning how to conduct herself in an apiary business as she would eventually inherit the family business. She made sure of it throughout her schooling days as she took classes that would best suit a budding apiarist like herself. As long as her parents decided to not have another kid, she'd be in the golden spot for her life and be the perfect baroness to the family name.
Eventually, she was contacted by a television-headed cat who had offered her power. She looked at her options, and decided that becoming a Magical Girl would be a fun pasttime, and definitely a good one to get away from all the chaos of the farm. Not that it was a bad place, but sometimes she did need a break from all the chaos that happened at the farm. Things went well, and Apia was gleefully ignorant to the concept of her ever becoming a Dark Magical Girl.
Though, she didn't expect jealousy to become such a good corruptor of purpose.
When she was almost fifteen, she had heard of a car crash that had happened to her aunt and uncle, which tragically ended their lives. While that was bad, she was more afraid of her slightly-older cousin coming into her family as her adoptive brother. She was immediately riddled with a sort of toxicity. She didn't hate her cousin, no, but she hated that he was in direct competition to become the heir to her inheritence, even if it was in false belief. Regardless, the jealousy of Apia's mind slipped into her heart, and turned her into the corrupt Dark Magical Girl she is now.
Apia's motives have remain somewhat unchanged since she went corrupt. She was always on the hunt for more power, but now it's more of a specialized hunt with Nightmares being more prevalent. She'll gladly do anything to prove to herself that she's worthy to inherit her fortune, and she's fully prepared to do so.

"Apia! Honey, you're gonna be late for school!"
Son of a bitch! She'd woken up late from the night before! Apia shot up out of bed and rocketed herself to her dresser. Good, everything was still there. From the hairband that held her powers to the jar of honey she had left there the night before. Thank God. She might still be able to make it to school without being late. Apia couldn't afford another tardy on her record, no sir!
She dove into her drawers, searching for the correct set of clothes to wear for today, as well as trying to find out where she had put that secret of hers. She knew it was kept around here somewhere, she just... aha! There it was! Her beekeeper's journal! She had used it to keep track of the ventures she took, and she always hid it in a different place every night so nobody would find it and think she's crazy. Last night was the sock drawer, and tonight it'd change again.
Apia threw everything into her bag before getting dressed in a rush, afterwhich grabbing her bag, hairband, and honey before running downstairs to see her mom in the kitchen, along with her brother. "Hey guys can't talk gotta g- Wait, why isn't he dressed for school?" Apia pointed at her brother's pajamas. They wernt to the same school and had to get there at the same time so it's weird to see him not dressed for school.
"He's sick, Apia. He's gonna stay home today."
"Laaame." She still liked him, but she loathed he was around to exist for her inheritance. Ugh. It was alright, there certainly wasn't any way Apia's dad would give the inheritance to him, right? Y-yeah, she was just being irrational about it.
She heard the bus honking from outside the farm, and she ran over to the door. "Alright, gotta get outta here! Sorry for the quick good morning but I really can't stay!" Apia opened up the door and listened behind her for her mom's last words to her that morning.
"Don't forget your breakfa... she's gone."
Apia had already prepared for this, as she had that bottle of honey from earlier for a reason. She was normally the first pickup of the day, so she could down the bottle of honey before anyone could notice, in case she was in situations like this. It probably wasn't healthy for her, but she didn't care. Honey was just delicious to her.

Mastar turned to face wherever she heard Evelyn's voice for a moment after getting smacked in the head with her tar, seemingly knocking the hero down to the ground as she went liquid, becoming a mere puddle. For a moment, the puddle laid dormant before it started to reform, moving back slightly to try and get a little more distance from Protean before slowly forming back into the standard shape of Mastar... minus one whole arm. Guess that's how much tar was used in the removing of some of Protean's mass.
She looked to the side to see Tiger Lilly coming back with... a confoam grenade?! Where'd she get that? It was a smart idea indeed, but how well would it work, too? Mastar wanted to help contribute to the plan, but she was fairly certain that she'd throw another slice of chaos into it and it'd just murk up the plan. Quickly, Mastar looked around the hall before noticing the ceiling tiles. She knew that they opened up, so it wouldn't be a stretch to say that she could definitely crawl through them and possibly get the drop on Protean.
"Welp, see you guys in a second~!" Mastar commented as she stretched out, two legs quickly shrinking down to one pillar and her arm stretching out, knocking aside the panel she was under. With one fluid jump, Mastar slinked her way into the ceiling and started to move towards Protean.
As soon as she was above him (or as soon as she guessed she was, anyway), she began to gently shift some more of the ceiling tiles. There was a lot of ruckus going on below, so she didn't think he could dodge out from under her, though if he did start to change shape, Mastar would drop another arm of globbed tar down onto him quickly. If he didn't and simply stood there, Mastar would wait to see the effects of everyone else's attack on him. In the case that the projection and containment foam worked, Mastar wouldn't drop. She'd just go back to her allies. If nothing worked and she had an opening, she'd lob a much heftier amount of tar onto him, most certainly two limbs worth, in an effort to try and keep him on fire and further weaken him.
As much as she wanted to get down to invade him, she realized that if she took any collateral she'd be done for. It was sucky, sure, but she did appreciate Messiah and the other's powers and assistance. Maybe they could still do this...
The library. A peaceful place where Asai couldn't be disturbed as she worked on her own vices. She had a few books beside her, namely books on anatomy and various species of rodents, and a sketchbook that was open to a fairly decent drawing of a hamster. While she was still a little upset that the two hamsters didn't become one earlier today, she couldn't help that she had to keep going to school to keep a low profile to her mom. She still loved her, but she didn't need to know that combining living things together was a passion of hers.
Asai flipped from the hamster page, deeming it finished, to the biggest plan in the entire sketchbook. The plan for the first flesh golem out of a series of many, most likely. It would be massive, at least double her height, and definitely on the chunkier side. The level of detail it was drawn with was shocking as well, and whenever someone asked what Asai was drawing it for, she simply responded with "It's for a movie idea I had.". It was normally enough to hush anybody up.
Her attention was turned to the clock. Time to go, it seemed. Her lunch period was over and she had to get back to class. After placing her books back and closing her sketchbook, she grabbed her bag and walked out of the library and headed to her next class. She kept an eye out for her better half and obtainer of secret goods, Hana. She hadn't seen her yet today, which was a little peculiar considering she really adored the girl. They were definitely more than just partners in any case.
Well, hopefully she'd meet up with her in the next class.
Welp, there went that idea. Hopefully he'd still be okay finding his way back. As long as he followed the stream he'd be fine, anyway.
Oh dear, he was already out of Mana? Rock Spire certainly had a large cost to it, but hey, he got the skill up out of using it, too, so that was pretty good. He just needed to recover some magic so he wouldn't be caught vulnerable to the world. It wasn't a super big risk, but with that pixie over there being shifty, he couldn't take many chances. Speaking of that Pixie... "It's alright! I'm not gonna hurt'cha!" he called to the pixie before sitting down near some plants and looking at them.
The world had elements aligned to it, right? It's how Digbie got his Stone-Hardened variant and Mystic variant, so there could be a possibility that there was a Natural Element. Maybe there was, and he heard about it, but he didn't remember. All he knew was that it might be really beneficial for him to invest some time into studying these plants, maybe figuring out if they could help him unlock some more potential. Probably not, unless he channeled a Mana Orb through the plants, but it was worth a shot.
Digbie studied the plants in front of him with both {Plant Analysis} and {Magic Analysis} before remembering the shadow on his face. He still had that flower from when he evolved. It seemed to grow back pretty easily, actually. Maybe it had some magical properties to it, as well? Figuring it was worth a shot, Digbie used {Plant Analysis} and {Magic Analysis} on it as well, seeing what he could figure out.
After all that, he gazed back towards the Mole Run. He'd keep going down that path, but he wanted to make sure he'd survive the trail first.
{Earth Vein} while sitting in front of a bunch of plants. Studying the nearby foliage with {Plant Analysis} and {Magic Analysis}, trying to determine if he could learn some Nature magic from studying them. Using {Plant Analysis} and {Magic Analysis} on the flower he tucked into his hair when he evolved.

Arms: Back in the pre-corruption days, Asai boasted a nice backsword with a long ribbon tied at the hilt for extra flair and style. After the corruption, though, the blade became much more powerful, with it making the transition from being your standard magical backsword into a badass whip sword. Sure, it's normally impractical to an insane degree, but we're magical girls! It's all fine! • Magic: Pre-Corruption, Asai's magic focused around healing and buffing. Originally, she was able to heal and support friends and herself quite easily with AoE spells, strengthening spells, and defensive spells. After the darkness seeped in, though, the magic turned sour, but was still very powerful. Asai gained only one real modification to her power at the cost of her healing, but it was enough to give it quite the increase in viability. (All buffs must be applied by an ally offering a sample of their flesh to Asai, who can easily put it back on when the duration is up) - Healing, both AoE and Specific - Cannot be used since Corruption. - Defense Up - Magical and specialized, Asai requires a sample of someone's flesh in order for the spell to come into effect. Depending on how much flesh is offered, you can receive up to three times the amount of defense you would usually have, and minor offers can give up to 1.25 times minimum. Duration of buffs last five minutes max, one minute minimum. Cannot affect an individual with multiple buffs at the same time. You only get one. - Strength Up - See above. Same parameters. - Fleshweaving - Asai can put beings together out of stitches, skin, and body parts, effectively making them her minions sewn from the remains from others, and has become obsessed with it.
Somehow, when being sewn together, everything just kind of works. Beings can even have four hearts and one lung and survive, though not for very long unless the lung is massive. There's also no limit to how many minions she can have at a time, though she heavily prefers to just have one large minion outside of experiments. She can also modify existing bodies and rearrange their organs and allocations of body parts, so she could totally put your heart on your elbow exposed to the world.
Asai can even put body parts on herself and remove them, but why she would want to is anyone's guess.
• Background:
Let's get the boring stuff out of the way early. Asai wasn't anything special at all. Standard grades, comfortable household, and life for her was just that. Life. Though, that was the problem. While she didn't have a spectacular life, she had bullies, and quite a few of them. After the first couple of times getting beaten up, though, she got used to it and eventually got the bullies off her back from purely being boring to hassle and hound all the time.
The real catch, though, was her love for animals and life. She was obsessed with helping others out, even if they were insignificant ladybugs. She would kill to become a doctor or vet sometime, and always got giddy whenever she was able to go play with puppies and animals just out of surgery and such. It was her passion, and she loved it. This love of life was what would eventually draw attention from a certain mascot, who gave her the offer to become a magical girl, which she happily took without a single doubt in her mind.
She was the Quartermaster, and everything was great. She started to shed off her uninteresting personality and began to blossom into a more competent girl, both as the Quartermaster and as Asai Hashimoto. She absolutely loved it, and when her mom got her a puppy, it unofficially became her sidekick. It was the best pupper that Asai ever had, even if it was the only one her family had ever owned.
But with her life getting more interesting, the bullies came back to start trouble. When they got their hands on that dog, they decided it would only be appropriate to try and traumatize the poor girl by beating the everloving shit out of the dog until it struggled to breath, couldn't walk, and actually wished for one unspeakable thing more than anything else. That would've been bad enough to know about, but the bullies forced Asai to watch the entire process. From the first punch to the legs being broken, nothing was spared.
She was broken, and the cracks allowed for the corruption to sink in.
In a desperate attempt to preserve the life of the dog, Asai's magic kicked in as she grabbed the animal and moved it to a pet graveyard. After doing a series of gravedigging for some decent limbs and parts, Asai got to work, trying to fix the animal in a desperate attempt. While it did work, the patched-up pooch didn't survive for much longer than an hour before it keeled over and died for good. While that'd be enough to break someone, it changed Asai. She found out her true obsession in life, which just so happened to be her fixation on combining life.
A little time passed, and an offer to join a specific club at Miso City High was extended her way.

Squeak. Squeak.
Asai sat in front of a bunch of books placed in various positions to make small little enclosures, the hamsters inside each enclosure wading through the carpet like it was a thick mud. Poor things, they couldn't help their legs being small and useless. It was endearingly pathetic.
Squeak. Squeak.
With a single reach, Asai grabbed hold of one of the hamsters before shushing it, placing a finger up to it and calmly observing it as the small rodent chomped on the finger, leaving trickles of blood falling from the hand. Aww, poor buddy. It had to bite in defense of what was guaranteed to happen. Ouch, another one. It really didn't want to get the rag, huh.
Squeak.
Asai held the tiny animal up to the chemical rag as it quickly nodded off, going limp in her hand as she grabbed the other hamster from it's enclosure and did the same. Everything was prepared for the experiment, now. The animals should be able to wake back up from this, she didn't use that much chloroform.
Squeak.
Oh, one of them was still awake? She couldn't have that, now, could she?
...
It was time. Asai grabbed hold of her trusty needle and thread before prodding one of the hamsters with it gently. Yep, still full of life. That reflex was enough to tell. She double checked everything she had. Her suturing needle was sterile, her area was clean, and her thread was... sparse? What?! She had just refilled her supply! Oh, this will never do... ugh. She checked her drawer for any more thread that she could use, and sighed loudly after realizing that there was no more thread to be used. Ugh, annoying. Where did she put that new thr-
Honk honk!
"Shit, the bus!" Asai muttered under her breath. Quickly changing out of her Magical Girl outfit, she placed her hamsters back in their home before darting down the stairs, kissing her mom on the cheek, and running out to the bus. Thank God the bus driver always waited for her. She could run her experiments later, she supposed. There wasn't anything stopping her from doing it, anyway.

• Other: Asai has dreams of making the ultimate flesh golem, though that dream is currently kind of hard to achieve right now.
Sorry for double posting. I wanted to get this done but I didn't want to edit it into the first post in case it was overlooked by anyone.
I await for you guys to nitpick everything wrong with it.
"Oh... uh..." Eve stopped when the woman referred to her by name. How did she know her name? Eve certainly didn't remember hers if they had met before... wait, they have met before, right? Oh Christ, she's never met this woman, has she? How did this woman know her name if they've never met? Maybe she worked in the government? That'd explain it somehow, if it did, but if that's the case, why not meet her at her house? How'd she know that Eve was gonna be here?
Eve took a moment to calm down and sigh. She was asking way too many questions. If push came to shove, she knew she could get out of there in a jiffy. It'd probably ruin her identity, but hey, it might not. When the suited woman finally passed her, though, that was a little annoying. Reluctantly, Eve followed behind, her claws scraping against the pavement. It wasn't very comfortable, but it wasn't too bad as long as she sat down later.
"So... uh... excuse me if I'm forgetting, but who are you?"

I'm a nerd. I play Pokemon religiously, I dabble in some anime, I write up here, and I love watching incredibly awful movies and just making fun of them. Specifically things like "Leo the Lion" and what not.
I don't have much else to say, so I guess I can leave you guys with a really bad joke.
"What do you call a cow with two legs?"
"Lean beef."[/center]
