Alright, I am in. No promises on a CS by tonight though, I got a lot of lore to read. (And a post in another RP)
Well, that's an alright ratio... >_> ... ... 2/3

I'd say I am interested! Going to have to learn Dragon Age though. Any recommendations on where to start reading?
Alright, so who still is onboard with this? (I am swinging by from the interest check)
Are Shaw and your noble together?

This is what you said earlier...
I have an extra knight to spare if you don't want to pair yours together. xD

Yeah, I don't mind pairing em! (I see you edited it into the char sheet, I will do so as well)

@crestfallen My knight is without a partner at the moment, so if you don't want your characters paired... *shrugs* I am free game there.

How does he fit into all this?

Is it still but a scratch?

Indeed, tis but a scratch.

Or possibly a symbol that not all male characters need be womanizers?
A stance against the notion of knights coming from only from Caucasian ancestry?
A subtly racist hint at the concept of ethnic subservience between races?
A proud representation of two different kinds of people working together as a team, one wielding their social influence as effectively as the other wields a sword?

...Or just a picture?
What about the black knight?

? What do you mean about the black knight?

Come here to find random stuff I may/may not throw up for any roleplays I am in.
@chukklehed I think the Byzantine empire would still be around then, as well. Africa might retain independance from the rest of the world too; hard to fight zulus without rifles. Similar might be said of Native Americans (though many of them still would die of disease.)
well, without Gunpowder, most revolutions wouldn't get very far. It was the ability of any common man to pick up a gun and be able to battle effectively that really allowed revolts to be effective. That's not to say there weren't revolts before guns, but typically they were just untrained fighters swinging scythes and pitchforks. So by extension, America would probably be a European country, along with any other major battles that took place after gunpowder based weaponry was invented going completely differently.

Ah, but wouldn't a lack of gunpowder remove Englands ace? You could argue that continental European powers would be better off, because of better resource access. British navy isnt much minus their cannons... interestingly,Japan would be much better off in this world, despite being an age behind the other nations. Ironclad warships might not take off, except as fireproofing, and old roman seige equipment would remain dominant. I wouldn't be surprised If Greek Fire survived up to present because of the lack of gunpowder.
