That's because you posted sooner than Scout, silly boy which means you've waited longer technically. XP

This will pay off, I know. This was always the hard part with our plot. I'm sure in a few weeks, things will be changing already in terms of how training goes. Speaking of, should I assume the mission as a whole, should be done in under a week, so they'd surely be back by then? I'm thinking we'd need to break up the training with some social gathering or other context. Like some summer/autumn festival? I could have Sakura suggest they spar before dinner? It might then make sense to find a river and wash up before bed. I doubt anything sexy would be seen of course, but there would at least be the context of being polite around one another and remembering they're not just student and teacher but people...sexy people lol it's late, my mind wanders.

Ahem.
Bumping this briefly...
Alright, glad to hear it.
I've been playing DAO a lot lately too, I understand. Hopefully we can get back to our normally sized posts once things calm down haha.
Alright, maybe this will give her the concrete idea for making her own jutsu and building on top of what she knows. It looks like you're the first one on my list who is gonna get a reply. I'll try and see how the pace feels when I'm writing. I don't want us skipping so frequently but at the same time, we can only write the same thing, so often (in terms of training) though if/when close combat comes into play, that'll be fun to write out too.
Botan enjoyed her life in The Spirit World. It was lively, never dull. The blue haired woman was glad to be working where she was, and for who she was, even if plenty of others in her shoes would shy at the task of transporting the dead from one world to the next, while answering to Lord Koenma and his father. Botan wasn't like most folks though, she was eager to see the good in people and have a laugh, rather than waste time sulking or worrying. It was that personality which made her a good match for the recently deceased people of Japan. She had a large section of people to look after but at the end of the day, she and her other Grim Reapers could sit back and know that they were helping people in their darkest hour.

Typically, she would report to the palace where she'd get her tasks for the day. She would make small talk with her friends and some of the ogres she knew before she'd set off for the Human World where she'd wait for the first task to come up. Today was a little different though. As she walked inside and helped herself to some coffee, she found Jorge bumbling toward her. Botan flashed him a smile before she went back to her preparations. She added a touch of cream and a heaping spoonful of auger. Jorge nervously said that Koenma wished to see her. "Alright, I'll go see him right away." She nodded and picked up her cup of coffee.

Most people who worked for the prince were often stressed out of their minds.

Botan however, wasn't.

Her chipper outlook couldn't be shaken by Koenma's stress inducing rants and temper tantrums. Instead, she often did her best to be the voice of reason and calmness. Botan took a drink before letting herself into the large office where she saw the man behind his desk, surrounded by the piles and piles of papers that all needed his attention. Inhaling, she stepped forward, her wooden shoes clacking against the polished tile under her. Her blue hair bobbed up and down slightly as she gave him a wave. "Good morning Koenman, sir." She greeted him before stopped in front of his desk. She had been with Yusuke during his trial to get back to his old life after he had sacrificed himself for a child who was about to be hit by a speeding car.

No one had considered Yusuke doing such a selfless thing. The high school boy could be petulant and thoughtless, so everyone had expected him to die much later in life, likely alone. But instead he shocked everyone and left those in charge with a mess to clean up. There had been no place for the boy and so it was decided that if they gave him his life back, he would owe them by becoming a Spirit Detective. It was an honorable role meant for people with high morals and promising attributes. Yusuke was not the best candidate but still, Botan believed there was good in him and that he could rise to the mighty occasion.

"What's on your mind?" Botan questioned, not sure why he would need her prior to her going off to continue her day-to-day duties. The blue haired woman never dreaded getting out of bed, not did she ever consider her routine boring. Meeting people and having the chance to look at the bustling city of Tokyo were some fun perks she was proud to have. In the back of her head though, she wondered if there would be another chapter to live, if someday she'd be able to see and do more than give lost souls rides on her oar. Either way, the woman was interested to see if today, there might be a different task given to her.
After her work day ended, she finally allowed herself to check back online and see if the other person had gotten back to her. She was anxious that her partner may be someone rude or not interested in interacting, which was the entire point of the quest itself. Either way, Sasha read over the message and felt somewhat relieved. It seemed as though the player she had been matched up with, was fine with meeting right away. Sasha made a quick stop at a cafe so she could treat herself to some fresh tea before she finished the trek back to her flat. Once there, she brushed her hair out, started a load of laundry before sitting down in front of her computer.

Sasha did some writing, replied to some personal emails and finally hopped onto the E.R Forums and from there, she logged into the game. She put on her goggles and sat back for a moment. She enjoyed the scenic tranquility of where she was and she hated to venture into Neutral City. She didn't have a shop like some players but like many, she established her own home of sorts where extra inventory could be stored and where injuries could be healed up. Fracture let out a soft but shallow sigh before she climbed out of her tree house and landed on the lush grass, a light few sticking to her bare legs. She had on a brown Japanese styled top and a yellow ribbon, as a sort of shout out to her blond hair in real life.

Fracture also had pink hair tied back. She had a long boot and a short one because to her, it seemed fun to mix and match. She also had long white and red sleeves attached to her forearms, something that might come from the old manga, Naruto. In her hair was a brown ribbon and she had decided until she had more currency, her look didn't need to change. Players had so many unique items and attire. You could hardly find people who looked the same and usually, that sort of thing was done on purpose. She waved to a few friends and headed over to the ring which could let her go right to Neutral City. She did just that and within seconds, she was in the middle of bustling chaos.

[ Hey, Fracture here, I'm on my way. Sorry about the delay. ]

After she sent Spectre a quick message, she began to walk around, searching for the shop he had said to meet at. Fracture was a little side-tracked by the window shopping and merchants trying to make a hard sell. Soon she came across a group of players who seemed to be making a bet of some sort in an alleyway. Shaking her head, Fracture continued to walk along the street and finally came across Bogarted Blues. Looking to her left, and then her right, she knocked and then went inside. "Hello?" She looked around, it being hard to miss the collection of items and treasures the player had accumulated over time. It was impressive but she wasn't one for rare items. "I'm Fracture...Spectre, are you around?" She called out and slowly turned around in a circle, hoping this wasn't a shady decision.
@Briza Hello there, I'm glad you're interested in that one, it's one of the fun ones, considering the varying deception and assumptions people can make during its run-through.

@Hexaflexagon Holy crap, I remember you. Hello! It's good to find old buddies again and I remember you as being a pretty good writer. I'm glad life for you has settled/gotten better. I'm happy to retry Hackers with ya.
