@choraki Oh, Carnotaurus wise, she is docile enough to let some keepers approach him, but incredibly dangerous when hungry.

In the book Carnosaurs are docile ambush hunters. They tend to lurk in the shadows until a target gets close enough and then pounce on them for a quick kill.

Since they rely on their camouflage they can be frightened off by rapidly changing light patterns, such as someone waving a torch back and forth over their hiding place, since this disrupts their rather slow camouflage (approximately ten second to 'blend') from changing to match fast enough to keep up.

It's possible a Carno could be trained to follow orders by using 'safe' and stable colour patterns to guide them to where you'd like them to go, but underneath they'd still be just as vicious as a wild 'raptor. They wouldn't just lash out at a target though, instead biding their time and waiting for the person to drop their guard before attacking. Due to that they'd probably appear to be easier to tame then a 'raptor, but really it would just be an act by the carno to gain themselves an advantage.

@ArenaSnow Since they've been flying through the air for 8 days now the arrows must have quite a lot of power of their own, so they'll probably be able to impart quite a wallop to add to the explosive force.
Sigma has learned Bullet Barrage: (Cost: 4) Sigma locks on a target and attacks it three times, dealing damage equal to the current Attack value. All attacks are affected by any kind of modifier. After using Bullet Barrage, Sigma is unable to attack for one turn.

Nice ability, but could you change it slightly so it works with a status effect?

This wording should do:
Bullet Barrage: Cost: 4 Ebergy
Sigma locks on a target and deals three standard attacks to it. After using Bullet Barrage, Sigma is inflicted with the Out of Ammo status effect, forcing it to reload on the following turn.

It doesn't let you watch it unless you pay for it.

Here's the important part:

Note on powers: If we invest another 2 points at level up, can we reduce the cost of our powers by 1? I think it could express a growing comfort and lack of taxation on our abilities.

I'd be happy with that, or you could increase the effect on your stats by +1 or increase the duration +1 turn. Basically any upgrade to the power which would make it easier to use or more effective.

I'm also open to negotiations if people want to try and barter for better upgrades, such as spending 3 points for a +2 upgrade or something similar.



Before we go any further with the story, could I just ask for feedback on what's happened so far.

Did people enjoy the last few rounds, finding them interesting and engaging? Is there anything they'd like more of or less of? Would a shower scene with the two gungirls making out naked together help at all?

Also there's now four pistols lying on the ground in the bank, just in case people haven't spotted them. *coughBrickcough*

There's also paramedics and police outside who may have equipment you could 'acquire' if you ask politely/distract them/threaten them. ANd not forgetting the attractive young people who seems very approachable, perhaps they have something to offer? Behaving in a manner appropriate to your character's Morality should get rewards for you in some way.
@KabenSaal That works better, since it'll only trigger an opponent's defence once and so will give more damage than two attacks would. :)

Rocksmith has learned a new ability: I Am The Walrus - Energy Cost: 2 - 10
Rocksmith plays a tune on his magic guitar that turns a single enemy into a walrus and renders them incapable of fighting. The target remains a walrus 1 turn for every 2 points of Energy Rocksmith uses when activating this skill.

Nice idea, but too powerful an ability if you're going to completely immobilise an opponent for five turns. How about changing it slightly to:

Rocksmith plays a tune on his magic guitar that inflicts the Walrus status effect turning a single enemy into a walrus with a +2 Defense rating and a -2 Attack rating. All other status effects on the target are cancelled and the target may not use any abilities or traits while transformed. The target remains a walrus 1 turn for every 2 points of Energy Rocksmith uses when activating this skill.

The target would lose all the buffs they had and be hampered when making attacks, but the added body fat would give them better protection against attacks. It also stops the ability from being a 'magic bullet' to immediately disable a boss with one shot, meaning I'd have to make it fail all the time when facing strong opponents.

Trait-Solid Wall: Brick's allies all gain a bonus to Defense equal to 1/3 Brick's current defense against any AoE attack where Brick is one of the affected targets.
Stat-+1 Defense
