Currently, the tech gets damage from the throwee's defense, not Deimos' attack. I might add something like that in later though.

Actually at the moment the ability gets damage from Deimos's Attack for the action of the throw, +5 Attack for the Speeding effect and the Defence of the thrown person thanks to the ability's effect. That's why when using Ironside's enhanced armoured mode Deimos managed to take down the mech so quickly. (Base Attack 13 + Speeding 5 + Deimos Defence 21 = 39 damage vs 20 Defence = 19 health loss)

Next round you'll be getting a +25% bonus to Deimos's Attack and Ironside 2.1's Defence so that should push the damage even higher. (Base Attack 17 + Speeding 5 + Deimos Defence 27 = 49 damage vs 20 Defence = 29 health loss - reduced to 25 as target's max Health = 25)

<Snipped quote by Genni>
Does this mean the Sting Like A Bee attack will score damage of 36 (double Bumblebee's enhanced 18)?

Since Sting Like A Bee doesn't benefit from the bonus from the Pistol you'll only be getting 24 damage (Blaster Attack 12 x2.) Your standard attacks, using the Pistol as well, would give you damage of 30 (2x Blaster energy damage + 1x Pistol physical damage.)
Action: Use Prototype Projectile System with Ironside's clone against Mechtrooper 4 (I assume I have read it right, and there are 3 mech troopers. MT 2, MT 3, and MT 4. If I have had a brain fart, just do MT 3 instead)

Got that perfectly. Mechtrooper 1 is now a pile of melted slag in the middle of the plaza, MT2 and MT3 have been targeted by Bumblebee's Stingers and MT 4 is currently untouched.

With Rocksmith's musical backing Deimos should be able to score a one-shot kill with her new ability, so the rest of the team can worry about the other mechs for now.
Quick question, is it possible to use the energy cell as a makeshift explosive? (I.E: I set the cell, and someone else set's it off)

Possibly, it is a shielded container housing powerful mystical energy after all, but tampering with the shielding might be dangerous if you don't know what you're doing.

Might be worth having a quick word with Ironside, after all she makes them. If you can figure out which one is the original Ironside that is.

With a mighty bellow three more Mechtroopers appear around the corners of the ancient buildings and begin to close in with the heroes.

  • Soulless
    As a simple mechanical automaton the Mechtrooper has no mind of its own making it immune to all mental and emotional-based attacks and only suffering 2/3 damage from Magical sources. It feels no fear, no hate, no pain, no regret and doesn't even smile when it sees this.

@KJGriffin11 No problem, thanks for letting me know.
Fastball Special is Wolverine's. I prefer to make my own technique names. But, yea, making it a skill rather than a trait sounds good. Should, I edit it in now?

Sure. If you get it in before @KJGriffin11 posts you could even use it in this round, and with Ironside's hardened form that should make quite an impact on the poor Mechtrooper.
@KabenSaal Nice idea.

Didn't go with Fastball Special for the name though?

I'd say that'd be a Energy cost of 4 for the ability, since it can potentially be very powerful but could also lend itself to some very messy situations for your colleagues.

You could also add: "If Deimos is Awakened, the projectile attack becomes Aimed, gaining an additional 25% Attack but exhausting the Awakened effect at the same time."
I think that trait doesn't really fit, currently. Mayber later, after some development. I don't want to force my character into a relationship simply for points.

What sort of skill were you thinking of taking instead, or were you wanting to go with a boost to your stats?
You know, calculating it now, a 10% increase is crap. Could I re-spec for one saucy session with Genni and get a different trait?

Sure, I was wondering how long it would take you to ask.

If this is for Must be Love I'd have been willing to accept a 25% increase with the option of an additional 25% for each upgrade purchased. :)
@General Scales

...as the party disembarked from their vehicles a 15 foot tall mechanical monster suddenly appeared around the corner.

Since the robot is over 12 foot tall it's be classed as a Huge opponent, yes.

Gasmask, Comlink, Handcuffs, and energy cells. @Genni

Just the one Energy Cell. It's a single use item so you can only take one per 'inventory slot'. :)
