    The blabbering whispers of imps and demons resonate from the host of this hell-child, causing nearby hostiles' eardrums to melt and other senses to be rendered useless. Heretic's Attacks now have the Bleeding and Weaponized Status effects for up to 2 turns after using Demonic chorus. Bleeding targets take an extra 10% of the damage (rounded up) while Bleeding is still in effect. Bleeding stacks. Weaponized attacks give the attacker +1 Attack.

    An unholy blade, forged by a demon's temper and set a-flame by Heretic's anger, supports Yuki with it's legendary and disdainful presence. Heretic summons his Hell-Forged Blade, and gains the Armed status effect with +4 to his Attack. The Hell-Forged Blade is regarded as Soulbound, and Heretic cannot use targeted abilities while Armed.

Traits:
  • 2 Souls, no regrets:
    Resisting the temptations of death, Heretic rises as stubborn as ever from the near grave. If Heretic is to ever Knocked Out due to anything except continuous status effects (such as Bleeding and Poison), his HP is automatically raised back to 1 and the knocked out status is negated. Heretic is affected by the Zombified status effect and is not able to attack or use abilities until taking an Action: Recover.
  • Unhallowed Presence:

This effect does not deplete the amount of actions Heretic can take each turn.

    Using her feminine wiles and flexible fingers Discord saps the will of all Male Heterosexual, Hermaphrodite, Bisexual or Female Homosexual opponents, applying the Smitten status effect. Smitten characters may not target Discord with any harmful attacks or abilities, and any abilities they use which benefit their teammates also benefit Discord.
  • Mindbending Melody - Energy Cost: 6
    Strumming her fingers with the twisted tones of the night Discord takes control of a single Male Heterosexual, Hermaphrodite, Bisexual or Female Homosexual target, inflicting the Mind Controlled status effect for the number of turns difference between her Attack and their Defence, to a minimum of 1 turn. While Mind Controlled any attack or ability the character uses must target one of their own allies.

    Years of performing on stage have given Discord a highly toned and flexible body, allowing her to dodge and weave like a seasoned martial artist. Any time she's targeted by a ranged attack Discord gains +5 Defence.
  • Crowd Control
    Discord revels in controlling the bodies and minds of her audience while performing. Whenever Discord manages to inflict a status effect against an opponent she gains the Energized status effect, gaining +1 Energy Regeneration until the end of the following round. Energized does not stack with itself.

    Breaking out into a long drum solo Thrash beats out the music so fast her enemies can barely keep themselves from collapsing. Crescendo grants Thrash the Beatdown status effect, inflicts a cumulative Downbeat status effect, which reduces her targets' Attack and Defence by 1, and then causes 2 Health loss for each Beatdown effect currently active. This ability bypasses all normal defenses and is counted as a field-wide effect which cannot be dodged or blocked.

    Smashing her drumskins with all her might Thrash send out powerful, damaging waves of sonic energy to hammer her opponents, causing a basic ranged attack with damage increased by Thrash's Attack for each Beatdown effect currently active, but exhausting all Beatdown and Downbeat effects in the process.

    With her music never pausing for a moment Thrash generates a sonic field making it difficult for anyone to get close to her. Any time she's targeted by a melee attack the attacker loses -3 Attack.
  • Lost In The Rhythm
    Pouring all her concentration into the breakneck rhythms of her music invigorates and re-energises Thrash, making her feel alive. When Thrash's Health is below 50% (25 points) and she manages to cause Health loss against an opponent she recovers 1 Health and gains the Energized status effect, granting her +1 Energy Regeneration until the end of the following round. Energized does not stack with itself.
  • Barking Up The Wrong Tree
    Despite their oversexualised performances on stage, both Thrash and Discord are in reality lovers. Thrash is immune to all seduction and mind-control effects coming from Male characters.

  • R.E.T.I.N.A (Rapid Evaluation Tool Influencing Neural Aptitude) - Energy Cost: 3
    A highly advanced AI system capable of processing massive amounts of input data (both audio and visual) to calculate multiple outcomes and suggest methods of attack. When triggered the AI will guide the pilot in his assault, inflicting one target with the Tagged status effect, which halves their Defence when attacked by Vex for 2 rounds. If the target dies before second round, the effect ends without any detrimental effects. However, after two rounds the system will shut down to preserve its functionality, inflicting Vex with the Fatigued status effect for 1 round, preventing him from reactivating the system or regenerating any Energy for that turn.
  • Shinobi's Precision - Energy Cost: 4
    Vex hones in the information from RETINA to strike at vital or exposed points with savage strength. This attack ignores all Physical Bonuses to Defense and inflicts Maimed (- 10% Attack and -10% Defense) on target of this strike. This strike can only be used while RETINA is active.

    Having multiple organs enhanced or replaced with cyberware, Kyosuke is resilient to most forms of biological attacks. All attacks that incorporate poison, disease, toxins and gases are reduced to 1/2 their normal Attack value. However, electrical and EMP-based attacks cause half again as much damage as normal, as they wreak havoc upon his circuitry.
  • I.R.I.S (Inteligent Reaction Inertia System)
    The suit has been modified to help preserve the help of it's pilot, triggering reflexes and responses when detecting attacks. While RETINA is active, Vex gain 1/2 of his natural Defence as bonus Defence on any attacks made against him by the target of RETINA.

    Doubles the damage caused after penetrating an enemy's Defence.

    Lining up his shot he finds the one weak point in an enemy's armour and strikes through it. Shamrock inflicts his target with the Lined Up status effect and the next attack against that target spends the effect to ignore the target's Defence.
  • Swift Feet - Energy Cost: 3
    Dodges to the side just in time to avoid a blow, gaining the Dodger status effect and making the next attack received miss entirely, causing no damage.
  • Jinxed - Energy Cost: 8
    Cursing the target with bad luck Shamrock inflicts them with the Jinxed status effect. Their next attack will by some fluke of probability somehow end up hitting themselves, causing Health loss equal to their own Attack.

  • Lucky Charm
    Shamrock's Defence can never be lowered.
  • Hale and Hearty
    Each round Shamrock automatically regains 20% Health.
  • Ring True
    Shamrock always manages to somehow hit his targets, no matter what obstacles or environmental conditions are in the way.
  • Hair Of The Dog
    If Shamrock attacks a target which attacked him in the previous round, he strikes with double his normal Attack rating.
  • Hammering Blow
    Shamrock never holds back his punches, hitting his enemies with his full strength and leaving them Staggered for a turn, reducing their Defence by 1/4.
  • Luck Of The Irish
    Any time he receives bonus XP Shamrock gets an extra +1 XP.
