Ammy backed up a bit to get some room for a demonstration of what exactly she brought to the team. She barked at Luigi to make sure he was looking, then tore into the dirt with her front paws. In just a few quick and dirty seconds what was once a patch of green on the ground was a respectable hole that she could bury her entire front half in. She backed up, shaking off the debris that had landed on her in her flurry, and looked at Luigi proudly. There was, in fact, no better digger than her in the entirety of Nippon. That was an official title bestowed upon her by a young child.

That would probably be enough for most people, but these were legendary heroes. They'd be expecting something much more substantial, and so she walked around the hole and dropped into a fighting stance. Her lips pulling apart to reveal her vicious white teeth, she chomped forward at the air in front of her. She swung her whole body into it, her head snapping to and fro as she moved forward. Invisible to any without the proper senses the radiant disk resting on her back flew forward and slashed through the air in front of her, following her movements like an astute and loyal dance partner before returning to its resting place at the end of her attack string. Finishing the melee strikes she dashed forward, head lowered in a head butt against some hypothetical enemy before leaping straight up into the air. She whipped up one of her hind legs for an anatomically impossible high kick then leaned forward and landed squarely back on the ground where she sat straight backed, mouth open and tail wagging, as if expecting a judges score.

Of course, she couldn't show off the full extent of her divine power without possibly spooking the enemy. Nevertheless she did give Luigi and meaningful look and then jerked her head twice toward Samus. There was a strange instance of time, and then Samus Aran's chest and stomach were again splattered with black ink, though in a smaller amount than last time. She didn't want to blind her in the middle of a mission, after all.

"Relax kid, I don't give anything away for free." Satan said. It was beginning to look like this bar was legit. Was that the Hell? To drink alone among stranger, separated forever from his comrades? It was a fate more horrible than he cared top contemplate. But, at least from the look of the big guy behind the bar, this guy in front of him wasn't in charge. He extended his hands to the demon and the boy to make the best of a bad situation. "Cosmo Satan, Devil Cosmos space pirates, scourge of the seven worlds of Arimeas, plunderer of Archon and the surrounding campuses, and master of the Million Devil Star. A pleasure."

@Antioch@ArenaSnow"

"I remember exploding, so I am most definitely dead." Satan said. "Hold out some hope, lad. You might just be in a coma or something." With that he threw open the door to face whatever fate lay beyond.

Lords on high, the place was even nicer on the inside! Filled with patrons, too. One in particular that met his eyes as he took in the room. He turned back to the little soldier boy and pointed out the large spiny demon in the midst. "You see?" he said. "Hell."

Satan strode purposely into the room, cutting a straight path right to the obvious demon and crossing his arms. "All right big guy, I'll have you know these sort of psychological mind games don't work on me. he sooner you drop the charade and start the eternal torment the sooner I can start looking for my crew."

@Antioch@ArenaSnow
From a bite?

Wait, is it still alive in there?
Unless it's going by the "so hideous to look at that it turns people to stone" rule. I suppose I might just need the eyes, would be easier to carry, and there's mythological precedent for not having to worry about preserving it.

I wonder, if we turned the eyes into a key-chain would the resulting keyblade have a chance to proc stone when it hit?

*Edit*

Thinking more, if we did it that way we could get Cheese to craft more magic accessories to increase the proc chance and pile those on the one who gets the hypothetical medusa keyblade.
A different sort of carriage rolled up in front of the tavern through the driving snow, just as regal and dignified as the others but at the same time undeniably ostentatious. As it was driven into the light of the tavern front window it nearly perfectly reflected back the the light that fell on it, and if you could see through the glare you would see that most of the vehicle had been plated with polished gold. The wheels were inset with precious gems, the body carved with intricate patterns depicting great space battles, and if the door were to open you'd see the interior had been completely redone to include not only a poker table but a fully stocked bar in its own right. Even the grim driver was better dressed than the average ferryman.

If Cosmo Satan was being carted off to Hell he was at least going to be carried in his kind of coach. He'd explained this to the coaches fiercely objecting driver as he'd ripped it apart for the refurbishing.

Opening the door, the alien warlord swept out. He descended the opulent kick out stairs, which automatically folded back up as soon as his weight was taken off of them, and turned back to the driver. He jingled the pair of gold coins he'd prepared in his hand, hesitating, then tossed them up to the driver and made his way through the snow toward the only building in sight. Behind him the coach pulled away to make room for the inevitable one after.

It wasn't what Satan expected, to be honest. He'd heard of fire and brimstone, of horse faced demons with red hot tongs ready to tear him to pieces. No story had ever mentioned a warm looking tavern. He came up on a uniformed human standing standing before the building (@Antioch), loomed down at him, and said, "Tell me human, is this Hell? I'm expecting to meet some people here."

Name: Captain Cosmo Satan
Age: 23,006

Appearance: Imagine a star with the bottom two points lopped off and replaced with a muscular humanoid body and you have the general body shape, with the two outward points being his shoulders and the top being his "head." His skin is blue and strangely rubbery in appearance. Four large purple eyes are on what would be his chest, two on each side, and instead of a belly he has a large closed maw, big white teeth jutting out of it. He has no toes, his feet resembling boots with the toes curling upward like hooks. His fingernails and long and painted bright red. He has a "cape" hanging off his wide shoulders that falls just above his ankles. The only things that don't seem to be organic and a part of his body are the numerous golden bejeweled rings, bangles, bracelets, and chains adorning his fingers, arms, and legs.

Personality: A boisterous and greedy alien always on the lookout for adventure, and good time, and as much gold as he could get his hands on. The events leading up to his death, however, have greatly influenced his outlook on material wealth.

Powers or Abilities: A great alchemist, able to brew as many type of potion as there are stars in the sky. The mouth in his stomach is actually his cauldron fused to his body, and tapping into its energy allows him to freely transmute his own body, create not only useful items but homunculus monsters, and generate energy that he can attack with.

Equipment and Weapons: A pair of bejeweled cutlasses are his most common weapons.

Universe of origin, and perhaps a description: A universe of countless galaxies, circling a great alchemical cauldron known as the Galactic Cauldron from which all was born in the age of the gods. Every civilized planet uses alchemy to some degree except small backwaters like Earth that don't know anything. It was on these worlds that the keys to the Galactic Cauldron were hidden long ago, guarded by secret sects of galactic alchemists.

Bio (leading up to death): Satan was one of these guardians, a young but genius alchemist, until he was seduced by the glitter of gold and broke the tenant of alchemical law forbidding the creation of material wealth. A great and terrible conflict ensued between him and his fellow alchemists, but they were overrun by Satans hordes of monsters. Satan took possession of the key and escaped to the stars to seek the rest and take the Galactic Cauldron for his own. Over the course of his long journey he gathered allies to his cause, eventually forming the Devil Cosmos space pirates whose raids spread terror across the universe.

It was at the height of their power that the pirates came to Earth to seek the final key, but they were held up. One of the alchemists of Satan's planet had made his way to Earth, created weapons and defenses, and armed five teenagers to stand against his might. He eventually laid his hands upon the key he'd been seeking, but it had taken the sacrifice of all the members of his crew.

Cause of death: In his grief Satan made his way to the Galactic Cauldron, his enemies in hot pursuit, resolving to turn the entire universe to gold in their honor. The teenagers caught up and, after a long and frightful battle, plunged Satan into the depths of the boiling cauldron. He was transformed into a golden statue, then disintegrated and scattered throughout the universe.
Anyone have any ideas of how to render this gorgon head down into a subweapon that doesn't involve just putting it in a box on my shoulder and firing it like a missile?
