Michelle - Roll of 3 +0 Swift = 3. Failure.

As Michelle walked slowly through the alley, part of her pack bumped a beer bottle that had been laying on its side on top of a closed dumpster in the alley. The bottle rolled off and shattered on the ground. The response was instant, and she could hear moaning immediately after the noise. Three walkers backtracked from their trip to the other noise, and turned the corner into her escape route.
Where is Michelle in relation to Alex and Charlotte? I'm imagining her across the street(though not directly, so she is not visible to them right now), since they're between two buildings.

Also in my head: if Charlotte and or Alex were to walk toward the main street, if they turned left they'd be facing the general direction of Lee's new house. If they turned right they'd be facing Jagred's truck, with Jagred in one of the buildings down the road on their side of the street.

Does this sound right to everyone?
With the mob dispatched, Charlotte turned back to the man who was, like Lee, decidedly bowless. "Not a lot of somebodies out here, are there? You trying to get bow guy's attention too? Guy saved my skin a bit ago, wanted to repay the favor."

Jagred - Roll of 11 +2 Steady +1 Bow = 14. Success!
The arrow pierced yet another skull cleanly and quietly. As the dead fell, Jagred would notice an athletic drawstring bag lying discard in the hallway. Then loos fabric made it obvious that there was something inside.

Dead in the house: 0
Dead on the streets: 15
Dead in the apartment building: 5
So here's how loot works now.

GM rolls Xd10(X is dependent on the size of the area being looted. There's a basic list on the first page) and each number represents something. Three of the loot types have a double chance of finding(because they are the most common). Guns(and bows and crossbows and whatever) are now just part of this roll, so we're not making a million rolls every time we enter a new space.
I may dump the stress bit just because, as you said, it's not really coming into play. We'll probably forget about it regardless.

Okay, so here's how the loot bit works. If you find ammo, there is a chance to find a gun as well, but I made it a very small chance. You roll a twenty sided, if you get a 1 the gun is in plain sight. If you roll a 20 it's hidden, and you then have to roll for sharp to see if you find it.

Fuck that, too complicated. I'm going to redo loot altogether.
Okay, good.

No let's address things.

Scar, do you mean it's broken too hard or too easy?

Zombehs: crap. You and Scar can decide whether we retcon or not. I don't mind undoing my post and continuing her trip to where she last saw Jagred.
Are we able to post again?
The way I'd do it is, I already intended to give out skill and stat points as the game goes on, so we'd just add "weird" in starting at zero. We'll see, no guarantees.
Charlotte

She frowned at him, but didn't argue. She knew that pressing the debt wouldn't do any good. There wasn't much holding people to social constructs like that these days. "Fair enough," she said tersely. "I'm going to bring him back here, though. Don't block the back door. It's the least you can do after he risked himself to draw them away." She picked her tank bag off the ground and put it in a kitchen cabinet then left out the back door.

It was just like she had expected, the main street had a few stragglers, all on their way to the continuing car alarm, but the back yards in the neighborhood were clear. She snuck around the back side of the houses, jogging around the cul-de-sac and then down the street toward the little apartment complex. It was a longer distance than she would have liked to travel without backup, but she was lucky. Well, luck wasn't the word. It was the alarm.

The buildings were a bit closer together hear, and she had to climb a fence to keep off of the streets. She was just becoming unsure where she was when she heard someone call out.

“Anybody around?!?”

Was that him? It must be, there can't be that many people around. She followed the voice into the next alley and saw a man standing at the end of it. And sure enough... it was someone else. She held her bat up, resting it on her shoulder, and approached quietly. When she was nearer, she hissed at him, "Fucking idiot, keep your voice down. Get over here," even as she spoke a mob from the street followed his voice into the alley. She jogged up to it and swung her bat at its head.
Well every character has different strengths, you know. Charlotte isn't much good at long range, she's mostly a brawler.

So I don't know how many of you were there for the interest check when I was talking about the possibility of leaving in Apocalypse World's "weird" stat and adding in special powers. One of the special powers was going to be viewing the memories of the dead. If the game lasts long enough, and everyone's open to it, I may add the weird stat back in, and have a list of powers you can use as well.
