"Maybe you can pick up a little more vocabulary from me," Needles was in the alley now. He had followed behind Nightstar, tracking his energy signal in exactly the same way that they were tracking their quarry through space. He had been caught up in a conversation with a xenobiologist he had encountered in the bar. Apparently the being in question had run off with grant money from its university, and was living like a king nearby. It missed lecturing in a university, and had been happy to answer some of Needles' questions, even when it turned to the creatures that Mason had gotten into a fight with.

He had slipped out of the bar about a minute behind Mason, when he realized that the aliens might not be able to differentiate between humans and he could be mistaken for Mason.

"Sorry to sneak up, I'm a friend of his. Charlie, or Needles if you like."
Gun X Key
Style
Markus draws a pistol brought from his home world and wields it in tandem with his keyblade.
Using two weapons splits his focus and diminishes his precision. Without the precision to parry blows with his blade, he is significantly more open to attacks, and makes up for it by being lighter on his feet, he is more likely to dodge while using this style.
He wields his keyblade in his off hand for this style, and compensates for lack of finesse with more powerful swings, aiming to keep enemies at a distance to follow up with his gun.
His gun draws power from his heart to be effective against the heartless, and takes up x mp per shot fired.

I don't know how much mp we have, or how it's kept track of so I don't know how much to make the cost.

Let me know if I ought to edit that any.
Isn't unlimited breadsticks a little OP?

So(I'll write it out if you okay the premise) I was gonna go back to another idea I had and have it be a style that uses the blade and a pistol(the style from Treasure Planet) in tandem. I figure each shot would take an amount of mp, and he'd default to his normal fighting style when he runs out.
Alright, I figured we'd have NPC interactions where it might come in handy, but I'll switch to a more practical ability.
That's litetally one of the conditions I already gave.
The door behind Markus clicked open and he turned to open it without hesitation. The dark corridor led him to another strong stained glass platform. This time, the figure depicted was unfamiliar. It was a woman with dark complection and hair, her clothes both exotic and elegant. Wherever she was from, Markus could tell, she was well provided for. She was dressed in blue, her hair held back in a braid and crowned with a sapphire.

He walked forward and looked down on her face. Her dark eyes had a fierceness that seemed at odds with the dainty elegance of her clothes. She was not one to be controlled or held back. Markus was surprised at himself to find it such an attractive feature. He lingered for a moment, but moved on to the edge of the platform. He was kneeling down to look over the edge into the void when a platform appeared before him.

Markus stepped from platform to platform, looking back briefly to get another look at the young woman in the glass. He saw that the steps before had vanished, and pressed on.

At the top he came to yet another stained glass platform. This one was only partially illuminated, but some of the others had already arrived. When Markus stepped onto it, it lit up more, and the figures depicted were easier to make out.

"Ah," Markus looked upon them with a friendly smile, "Hello again." He saw that they had placed similar weapons to his sword onto a pedestal in the center. He stepped toward it and followed suit.

"As long as introductions are being given, I am Markus."

I'll try to respond today, I don't have much time to read everything this morning, though.

So for Markus' new ability:

Charisma: Passive. People who are not actively opposed to Markus or his point of view can be easily persuaded by him in conversation.
Spells and abilities are separate?
I will stick with what I have. I was worried that I might got a similar direction to Fion or Nero, but it looks like they have different ideas.

Markus' magic will be very much in line with his fencing. It will increase the speed or strength of his strikes, or control the environment to his advantage.
Yeah, but it's a collaborative story. I'm not in it for myself. I guess my main worry was that another player might already have a similar idea. I could alter course for the sake of variety.
