As the various attacks were launched against Tom, Mokou simply drifted around in the air, her hands in her pockets whilst feathers rained from the sky, her eyes narrowed as she took in the damage being dealt. As expected, the beast was extremely durable, with her own feathers hardly even registering on the beast despite the constant hits. She’d have to hit considerably harder to get any mileage, which was annoying, enough that Mokou let out a sigh of frustration.

With a flap of her wings, Mokou began to dive closer to the beast just as Sandalphon threw their Frost Lock. It takes less than a second for Mokou to understand the purpose of the Frost Lock once she sees the beast frozen solid, diverting her dive to instead move to Tom’s side, one where the other Seekers would not be in the crossfire. While Mokou was hardly that close, she was close enough that the beast would face the full brunt of her attack.

[Undying "Fire Bird -Feng Wing Ascension-"]

A wave of light erupts from Mokou, the one warning anyone would have gotten before a massive torrent of fiery projectiles of various sizes erupted from the air around Mokou. Though hard to see, it wasn’t just a random attack either, but instead a beautiful spectacle, with each type of projectile following their own pattern. Of course, that was secondary to the fact that each and every one directly hit the frozen alligator’s side. Were it not for the freeze and its own size, it was likely that a good portion would still end up missing. A fact that did not help Tom as it was unfrozen, and while each projectile may not have done much on their own, the combined force practically tore through Tom’s strength, causing it to roar out and recoil in pain before sinking into the water.

With that, Mokou’s hands return to their pockets, the Phoenix floating away from where Tom had sunk, her expression completely neutral despite the situation. Mokou had a bit of understanding on how durable creatures of this size could be, and did not at all expect it to be properly dead. And of course, it did not stay down, erupting from the water mere moments later to recontinue its charge towards the Stagecoach. Instinctively, Mokou sighed heavily, turning to the rest of the group, “I’d recommend taking a step back if you can! Not going to get a second warning!” Mokou called out as she floated back, taking a moment to roll her shoulders. It was a bit fast to use a trick like this, but since the beast had eaten two folks, it was better to end it quicker. And burning her tolerance was at least worth that.

As the alligator charged, Mokou’s hands left her pockets, her entire body beginning to glow… Not just with power, but with sheer heat as well. Starting with a yellow aura, before quickly shifting to a bright white, as orange flames circled around her, and soon enough the phoenix’s form was gone, replaced by nothing more than a miniature sun, hovering in the air, forming within moments. For a second, it lingered there… Before shooting out with a massive bang, launching directly towards Tom’s head like a missile, leaving a streak of flames in its wake.

Once the phoenix’s new form collided with the beast’s other eye, everything seemed to still for a moment. Then everything erupted, literally, as a massive fireball exploded from Tom’s face, the force knocking it off its charge and flames leaving the side of its face charred black, its durable hide the only thing leaving it without an eye, rather than with a blown open skull. Yet, when the flames dispersed, there was not a trace of Mokou left aside from a few scattered embers. Though, one in particular moved in an odd way, floating up into the air rather than to the ground, slowly glowing brighter with time.

As the beast died, Mokou floated back to the ground, shaking her cooked arm as if it was a minor annoyance, the black already fading away. Now that the carcass was defeated, she could get a better look at her two ‘helpers’, a kid and a bipedal rabbit of some kind. Odd, but not something she was completely unfamiliar with… And certainly not opposed to seeing, “I had it, but the help made it go quicker. Certainly didn’t expect to see anyone actively wandering here… But suppose it makes sense” Mokou says, idly kicking the ground as she paced towards the fallen beast, hands in her pocket and posture completely relaxed, as if she hadn’t just been fighting for her life mere moments ago, “I got asked by a little group a ways out here to help find a few ‘vikings’. Turns out the wildlife here is enough to deter most rescuers from actually entering” she comments, before turning “Oh, and for the record, I’m no ‘child’. If I were to wager a guess, I’m older than you by several dozen generations. Not that I mind, most make the same mistake” Mokou adds with a shrug, letting Heismay apologize as she lifted a hand out of her pocket, aiming it towards the fallen elephant before her. A few sigils appeared above her hand, rotating themselves into proper position… Before the carcass itself ignited into flames. A slow burn, nothing flashy, but the purpose was clear: Mokou was getting rid of the body, largely to ensure it never got back up again.

“Eh, sure. Not like I have a reason not to, and it ensures I don’t accidentally miss anyone” with a dismissive wave of her hand towards her fallen foe, Mokou turns back to Heismay, “Fujiwara no Mokou. You can just call me ‘Mokou’ though, I don’t much care for the full name anymore” the white haired girl greeted, taking Heismay’s hand and shaking it lightly. For a brief moment, a wave of warmth blew across Heismay’s form, dispelling the lingering frost from the elephant carcass.

With that, Mokou began walking towards the stagecoach, only stopping for a moment to glance at Roxas as she passed, “Pleasure to meet you too kiddo. Can tell you’ve got a bit of talent for magic. Keep it up.” she says casually, only to continue her walk to the stagecoach, glancing up at the man who spoke up to her as she approached: Military folk, by the looks of it, “Oh yeah, sure. Already agreed to help out with Heismay over there. I’ll just be taking a bit to relax” she says, giving a dismissive wave of her hand as she opened the side door to the stagecoach and, within seconds, crashed upon one of the seats, all decorum completely disregarded.

For a while, Mokou simply sat there, idly tapping her finger on the arm rest nearby. She wasn’t in a hurry, but with the lingering pain from nearly being torn in half, Mokou at least deserved a small respite. Even a healing spell from the boy couldn’t get rid of the feeling of near death. Yet, she didn’t stay lounging for long, as when the group had arrived at the empty, frozen food court, Mokou stood up with a grunt, dusting her shirt off as she opened the door of the stagecoach.

“Let me just check around here real quick, don’t want to miss anyone hiding out.” Mokou tells the others as she finally steps out of the stagecoach again, stretching a little before hopping to the cold ground and began her search within the frozen food court. For the most part, Mokou hardly looked around the open areas of the food court. Instead, she immediately made her way to the empty food stalls, taking a look around. For a moment, she actually seemed to put in effort in her search, looking high and low within the stalls that she investigated… Yet after about two searched stalls, the white haired girl simply let out a sigh, turning to the main area and cupping a hand around her mouth to broadcast her voice, “Hey! Any vikings around here? Rescue is around!”

In the seconds following Mokou's outcry, the dwindling echoes of her shout slowly gave way to the bleak blustering of the Highlands' icy winds, steadily working to bury the horrors of Krat Zoo beneath spotless winter snow. The phoenix was nothing if not stubborn, though, and after a moment, her persistence paid off. She identified movement, not among the food court's various stalls, but at the back of one of the small-animal exhibits in the plaza's middle. In retrospect, it made sense; those h, catering to arachnids and reptiles, had to be climate-controlled to keep them nice and toasty, and there would logically need to be some sort of hidden space in the exhibit's middle in order to tend to the habitats. As she watched, a maintenance hatch opened up, and a weathered face adorned by a winged, fur-lined cap and a voluminous blonde bear poked through. When the viking spotted a number of people alive and well, he squeezed out of the maintenance chute, crawled through the former iguana exhibit, and used a large round shield to break through the glass with a smash.

"Oof!" The tall, portly man tumbled to the ground. When he got to his feet, he towered over not just Mokou, but most of the Seekers. It was a wonder he managed to fit into that hiding spot at all. "Agh! So cold!" He shivered, his teeth chattering. "Thank goodness you folks came along. I'd 'ave starved to death if I'd been in there much longer. Don't s'pose you've seen me brothers around?" He glanced around the food court.

“I haven’t, but the group over there found someone named ‘Erik’, if that rings a bell” she says, walking up to the viking and lifting her hand, a small flaming feather quickly forming in her palm, “Take this, should warm you up a bit. Just don’t grab onto it directly, guide it with your hand” the girl says, letting the feather hover in the air in front of the viking before she turned on her heel, “Come along, we’ve got space on the stagecoach over there. Keep yourself nice and safe while we find anyone else.”

With the viking in tow, Mokou takes a moment to scan the area one last time before she begins to make her way back to the stagecoach, hopping onto the roof, taking a seat on top as the group continued onwards. She didn’t take up a watcher role even with her perch however, instead closing her eyes and letting the group continue on.

At least, for a bit, before the sound of rippling water and shifting trees caught her attention. Immediately, Mokou opened her eyes, just in time to witness the massive albino alligator rise from the water. The phoenix blinks in surprise, before a small smile forms on her lips, rather than the surprise from the others. The elephant was certainly a surprise, but whatever this creature was… It was clearly a cut above.

It took only a second for Mokou’s flaming wings to sprout from her back as the white haired girl took to the sky, a finger snap ringing out as four different flaming orbs formed into existence, barely wasting time before they began to rain flaming feathers down upon the beast. She didn’t anticipate them doing much, the beast’s hide seemed too thick and wet for her feathers to do much, but the first step to slaying a beast was to study it, and that was what she would do from her aerial advantage, harassing the beast as it thrashed about.

… Of course, Mokou was not oblivious to her ally’s own actions, and when Edward shouted out towards her, the phoenix gave a small nod, lifting her hand in a finger gun as she aimed towards the barrel in question. A small sigil appeared at her finger tip, and a small burning flame erupted to life, moments before she took her shot, a condensed beam of fire launching straight towards the barrel of fat as it neared the beast’s mouth.

Mokou’s eyes narrowed slightly as she watched her plumes do little to the beast’s hide, her wings immediately flapping to send her higher into the air as the crocodile jaws snapped at her. But her own follow-up was interrupted as a shape moved out of the corner of her eye, creature bound in white armor. For a moment, she almost considered firing her spells at that too, before she witnessed them cut into the main beast’s side and shout that they were here to help. Truthfully, Mokou didn’t expect anyone else to be here aside from her targets, but she supposed it made sense: There were likely a few folks who would answer this kind of call.

“Good. Might help speed this along then” Mokou calls back, raising her free hand above her head as a pair of blazing orbs formed around her, “Try to keep your eyes open. Be a shame to tag you on accident” she adds before the orbs began to rapidly fire individual flaming plumes out at the elephant, practically raining fire upon it yet also keeping noticeable gaps for her new ally to move through if they had to. At the same time, Mokou flew up a bit more, before she began to dive, fire quickly forming around her fist while the beast remained distracted by the armored creature’s strikes and her own plumes. Combined, it gave her a clear window to dive in, her hand punching through the base of the carcass’s neck.

For a moment, Mokou stood there, her fist embedded into the beast’s flesh, feeling the cold mist already coiling around her hand. And then, a massive explosion rang out as the area detonated into a ball of flame, launching Mokou back into the air, her arm charred to black. The beast, however, did not escape unharmed, a massive scorched hole remaining in its neck as several heads sputtered flames and went still. The rest, still alive, roared in agony, spraying mist randomly as it flailed its neck wildly.
Vivian Sorex

With the confidence that can only be achieved by ignoring reality itself, Vivian makes her way through Grand Glory City. She lacked a map, but she was pretty sure she could find her way through the city and to her first destination. All she had to do was follow the signs!

Of course none of the signs she saw (and didn’t miss) pointed her towards Route 4, but she would find them eventually.

In the meantime, Vivian simply enjoyed the city’s sights. She might have been an archeologist and preferred the intrigue of ancient ruins, but she could still enjoy the vibe of a bustling city, even though it was far busier than even Hearthome. There was the thought of trying to catch a few of the wild Pokémon she saw as she walked, but the idea quickly passed out of her mind. Trying to catch them would take up valuable time that could be better spent hunting for her TRUE target!

… Wait, when did she walk into a construction zone?

Blinking in confusion, Vivian quickly looks around, attempting to mentally map out her movements that led her to this place… Before immediately giving up on that and instead focusing her attention on the place she was now in and what was actually going on. It seemed like a sort of fight club with wild Pokémon, complete with an audience. In a way, it actually interested her: Was there any significance to this place for the Pokémon to decide to fight here? Maybe it was just a matter of convenience: They wanted to fight, so they just picked the most open area they could find. It wasn’t something she thought she could ever have found out by looking at ancient tablets and ruins at least… Just a random happenstance that history would never remember.

Of course, her train of thought was interrupted as she took notice of the Farfetch’d defeating their opponent, electing a cheer from the gathered audience of Pokémon… Before turning to her and lifting their leek menacingly, “Huh wait, m-me?” she asks, drawing a line from the Farfetch’d’s leek to herself… And in a rare moment of understanding, understood what it was wanting from her, launching the young girl into a stammering mess as she waved her arms about, “N-Now hold on I’m not here for a fight, I’m just walking around! In fact I was just about to-”

Suddenly, the Pokeball on her belt activates on its own, a flash of light erupting from it as Atlas stepped out, rolling its ‘shoulders’ as it regarded the Farfetch’d before it. Their sudden appearance had completely thrown Vivian off, blinking in confusion as she looked between both Atlas and the bird before her. With a defiant sounding mechanical noise, Atlas began to walk forward, entering the ring to square up with the Farfetch’d. Even as Vivian took notice and tried to call Atlas back, her efforts for naught in the face of Atlas’ devotion to accepting this challenge.

Disregarding their trainer’s panic at the situation, Atlas took up a boxing stance, flexing their fingers as its inner glow intensified for a brief moment. It may have been small and certainly not built for this opponent, but it was clear that Atlas was prepared to give this fight its all.

Atlas (not Vivian) will engage in fisticuffs with the Farfetch'd, using its arms and Defense Curl to block the latter's attacks and viciously counter with Fire Punch whenever possible.

Without anything responding to her calls, Mokou continues walking, her lone steps echoing off of the boardwalk as she moves on. Surprisingly, nothing else chooses to jump out at her in the moment, either frightened by Mokou’s presence… Or frightened by something else that lurked in this area. Either way, Mokou didn’t mind, it was a bit more peaceful now that she could look at the sights. All the exciting, frozen over sights that just screamed of intrigue.

Another sigh escapes Mokou’s lips as she keeps walking, kicking the floor as she walks and knocking off snow and ice from the boardwalk. As per usual, her boredom was a constant plague. She had seen dozens upon dozens of frozen buildings and locals, and even this park of horrors barely excited her at this point. Yet out of the corner of her eye, Mokou spotted something that actually did catch her attention: A small building that seemed to be a staff center: Wide open and abandoned, much like the rest of the complex. It was different from the ransacked gift shops and empty exhibits, and that was enough to get Mokou to shift her direction, idly walking into the darkened building, “Hey, any vikings in here?” she asked as she approached, knocking on the door frame to get anything’s attention before entering the building proper.

Mokou glances around the main room, whistling a little tune as her feet echo off the ground, taking note of everything she noticed. Truthfully, nothing in this location was of actual interest for Mokou. But even still, she could recognize some value in what she was looking at. Ignoring most of the debris and frozen meat, Mokou walks over to the hanging zoo worker attire, raising a finger to the clothing before a concentrated flame appears over it. Then, slowly and carefully, Mokou burns a square off of the shirt, specifically cutting off a patch that designated the outfit’s role while also snuffing out any chance of the rest of the outfit igniting. She wasn’t sure if any scanners would accept it, but hey, it would save her some energy burning the door down. With it in hand, Mokou turns on her heel, walking back the way she came… Whilst also picking up a crowbar that was resting on a crate.

Mokou acquires: A crowbar along with Zookeeper patches!

With her loot in tow, Mokou continues her travel throughout the zoo, continuing to call out to any vikings that may or may not be listening. Eventually, her walk takes her to a small clearing, that seemed to have once been a small gathering place, with a few empty exhibits and a frozen waterfall. In an instant, Mokou came to a stop as she took notice of a mass of grey flesh within the clearing. One that was clearly moving, having also noticed her approach, pushing itself off of the ground and turning to face her. Much like the beasts before, this one had clearly, once, been an elephant… But was now horrifically mutated, a massive growth residing on its head and various tendrils hanging off of it. The rest of its body was hardly pleasant either, but that was to be expected of a place like this.

Once it had fully turned around, the elephant roared, before rapidly crawling towards Mokou, kicking up a cloud of snow as it did so. Mokou, for her part, hardly seemed phased by its charge, casually dropping her new crowbar onto the ground, before her free hand rose, a ball of flame forming in her hand. She was growing a bit tired of her own theatrics. Thus, she simply met the charge by unleashing a stream of fire towards it, engulfing the monster entirely. Yet even with the flame, the beast refused to slow down, charging through the fire… And finding nothing as Mokou leapt up, hopping onto its back, and then casually stepping off behind it.

With a small flick, Mokou disperses some of the lingering fire from her fingers, turning around to face the beast again as it recovered, before a pair of rotting hooves slammed directly into her face, the creature having kicked out with its mutated hindlegs to catch her off guard. Mokou herself is sent flying from the force, crashing into the ground and tumbling over herself before finally rolling to her feet, staggering slightly as she recovered from the blow. For a brief moment the girl blinks in surprise, a small smile forming on her face before she spits upon the ground, staining it with red. The creatures here were freaks, that was for sure, but the mutations gave them an element of surprise that Mokou was consistently surprised by. The fact that this elephant had horse legs that were still functional was not what she had expected, but it was something that led it to be able to land a hit on her, something no other creature she had encountered here could boast.

With a small spring in her step, Mokou brushes a hair from her face as she approaches the beast, right as they swung their body to the side to catch her approach. But, as with before, Mokou simply hops back a bit, a small fingersnap emitting a jet of flame that scorches its face, causing them to cry in pain before pushing itself off the ground, momentarily supporting itself on its hind legs before slamming its body to the ground, a move that was once again avoided by Mokou simply sliding underneath it as it rose. Now behind it, Mokou simply shakes her hand, casually walking over to the crowbar she had discarded and kicking it into the air in order to catch it.

For a brief moment, Mokou twirls the weapon in her hand, her eyes narrowing as she focused on something… Before the crowbar suddenly ignites into flames, Mokou adjusting her grip to hold it as a javelin, aiming for a second as the elephant turns back around to face her. And in that moment, Mokou throws, the ignited metal launching forth and impaling itself straight into the bulbous growth on its head, a loud roar emanating from the beast as it staggers back, black blood gushing from the wound.

A few seconds pass as Mokou simply watches the beast’s agony, waiting to see what it would do in response. It had already surprised her multiple times, so she felt like it could do it this time as well. Sure enough, after a few moments, the growth began to pulse, a larger spray of blood erupting from it before it exploded, sending the crowbar flying out and nearly striking Mokou head on, just barely going past her head and impaling itself into the ground. Mokou, for her part, barely reacted to the crowbar, instead raising an eyebrow as she witnessed what the beast had done.

Specifically, the growth had erupted into a massive ‘trunk’, and upon it were the heads of a variety of animals, with a massive crocodile head resting at the end. Each head screeched in agony, a mist of white smoke trailing from their mouths before the beast refocused its attention on Mokou, each head roaring at her… A sight that caused Mokou to simply roll her shoulders.

With that, the two forces charged at each other, their clash becoming more chaotic with the addition of the new neck of heads. Each head snapped at Mokou as the trunk flailed about, each barely unable to catch the girl as she continued to dodge and toy with the beast, not even bothering to go on her own offensive aside from the occasional small blast of fire that scorched its hide. Truthfully, Mokou was simply trying to get the beast to offer any more surprises. The mist that it spewed out seemed interesting at first, but wherever it lingered, her flames easily dispersed it. Evidently, with how it seemed to add another layer of frost to the ground, the mist was some kind of freezing gas… Which was hardly something for her to worry about. With the beast seemingly out of surprises to catch her off guard, Mokou let out a loud sigh as she once again leapt over the beast’s neck, lamenting her situation as her hand prepares to snap once more and launch a wave of flame.

And then she felt something clamp down on her leg.

In an instant, her momentum was shifted as she was brought along with the neck of the beast, a stray hyena head having managed to catch her mid jump, before letting her go and causing her to slam into the ground. With a groan that indicated more annoyance than actual pain, Mokou pushed herself off the ground… Only for the crocodile head to clamp down upon her torso, lifting her off the ground before it began to angrily shake her in the air.

Mokou grimaced as she was flung around within the beast’s jaws. She couldn’t feel her torso anymore, and she could feel whatever gas the beast emitted seeping into her, freezing her from the inside. Yet, she didn’t scream or writhe in pain… In fact, after a few moments, a small grin formed on her face. Despite the agony, Mokou felt alive for a brief moment, and even though the cold spread within her, she could feel her heart burning, blood pumping in response to the thrill of the fight. Ultimately, she knew that this was pointless, that the beast could never hope to kill her no matter how hard it tried…

But for the moment, she could thrive in its attempt.

With a crack, Mokou rapidly ignited, her body turning to ash within the beast’s maw, resulting in them scorching themselves as they clamped down on the flame, screeching in pain as it staggered back. In its wake, a small orb of light floated in the air… Before it erupted into a pillar of blue flames, the force of which causing the beast to stumble further as the fire roared towards the sky, swiftly shifting its blue hue to a standard orange before dissipating as quickly as it appeared, revealing the unmarred form of Mokou slowly floating back to the ground. The girl regarded the beast with both of her hands in her pocket, her expression shifting from dispassionate to a small trace of excitement, “Alright, you’re a bit tougher than the other freaks here” Mokou comments as a pair of wings blazed into existence behind her, slowly lifting the girl off of the ground, “Let’s see how much longer you can bear the heat.”

With that, Mokou’s hand shot out to the side, her fingers snapping as the air around her shimmered with heat, dozens of small ‘feathers’ of fire appearing around her and shifting to aim at the beast. Finally staggering to its feet, the beast regards Mokou’s wings and feathers with a multitude of mutated eyes, before each mouth screeched in unison, a wave of freezing mist pouring from the beast as it charged forward. It did not have the capacity to understand how Mokou was still alive or the threat she posed, but it knew one thing: Something was alive and moving, and it had to silence it. In a way, Mokou could respect the simplicity. But it hardly stopped her from moving her arm forward, sending a barrage of feathers down at the creature, her wings flying her backwards as it simply plowed through her assault and attempted to snatch her from the sky with its jaws.

The abandoned zoo was a death trap. That much was a certainty from those that had chosen to go near it, and thus it was an oddity for any single figure to approach it on their own. And yet despite that, there was one individual who chose to do exactly that, their white hair blending in with the snow that covered the ground around them as they walked through the zoo without a single care for the threats that awaited inside. For Mokou, this was simply another run of the mill job of hers. In the days… No, months that she had been wandering, she had come across a handful of dangerous creatures of all varieties. None of which had truly managed to scare her… After all, they only posed a threat to something that could die. As such, when she came across a group of travelers that had begged her to help some vikings that were requesting help from within the zoo, she had taken it in stride. It was her self proclaimed duty, and at the very least, it might have alleviated her boredom.

Unfortunately for her, the exciting trip to the zoo had, at the moment, lead to her being rather let down. At first she was intrigued by the various smaller, mutated creatures that attacked her leading up to the compound, but even outnumbered they posed little threat. As it turned out, a wave of fire was more than sufficient to handle a pack of wolves surrounding her. In truth, by the time she had made it inside the zoo, she was more focused on the remnants of what once was than the dangers that lurked within.

“Yo! Vikings! Anyone around here?” Mokou called out, a hand in her pocket as she made her way across the snow covered boardwalk, her white hair blurring together with the white ground. For each step she took, a small patch of snow melted beneath her shoes, remnants of the fire sorcery she had been employing. Her tone indicated boredom, an uncaring call to anyone that could hear regardless of the danger such an act would provide. Of course, her voice was heard, but not by those she was calling for. As she walked across the boardwalk, her steps came to a halt as she surveyed the scene ahead of her… And specifically at the two mutated beasts that had jumped onto the walkway to confront her. Despite their horrific changes, Mokou could barely make them out to be a pair of kangaroos, with tangled horns and exposed stomachs. It was a minor note, but it at least told her what to expect from them… Right before one of them curled into a ball and launched itself at her, the other following along with murderous intent in their hops.

Without wasting a beat, Mokou’s eyes narrowed, before she suddenly leapt into the air, smoothly cartwheeling over the rolling kangaroo, her free hand outstretched towards the beast beneath her, and with a snap, a stream of fire erupted forth, enveloping the kangaroo as they screeched in pain, tumbling out of their roll in a panic as flames engulfed their body. With the first handled, Mokou landed on the floor, turning around to meet the second kangaroo and quickly bending backwards as the beast’s tail flew overhead. A small breath escapes Mokou’s lips as her free hand touches the ground beneath her, before she suddenly twists her body around, launching a spinning kick at the kangaroo’s head, a trail of fire following her foot.

In the same motion, Mokou pushed herself off the ground, flipping herself in the air and pointing her free hand directly in front of the kangaroo’s face as they recovered, her fingers already positioned to snap. And as before, a stream of fire erupted from her hand, this time concentrated directly into the beast’s head, completely incinerating it within moments. With that, Mokou finally lands back on her feet, her second hand still in her pocket as she turns to face the other kangaroo that had managed to scramble to its feet, its fur singed from her fire. Yet it barely managed to turn around before Mokou made a small motion, a ring of fire forming beneath them before, after a moment, erupting into a column of flames, a horrific howl emanating from the flames before it quickly became quiet, the column dispersing to reveal nothing but ash.

Mokou looked back at the burnt circle for only a few seconds, before she turned back on her heel, continuing her walk as she brought her hand to her mouth to keep calling out to any vikings that may be around. If they didn’t hear her voice, then they must have at least seen the fire she had been creating. Such a thing would be hard to miss with the frozen backdrop of the place.

Approved, and welcome to the RP. You can put your sheet in the Characters tab. My updates are every Sunday evening, but you don't have to worry about getting one out this weekend if you already have plans. Would you like an invite to the Discord server?

I would certainly love an invite chief! I probably won't be able to sit down and get a post out by Sunday but I can at least read through everything and get caught up.
Alright, small update to the sheet to clarify the main thing points while also adding in the "In the Now" segment. Hopefully things are good and certainly excited to be around.

<Snipped quote by Goggy>

Thank you for your efforts, that's quite a good sheet. I also play a character who's supposedly immortal (Ms Fortune) but whose regenerative abilities slow down and eventually peter out if she's subjected to enough damage. However, having Mokou's revives be limited is a moot point if she can 'regenerate from any damage dealt to her', which would logically prevent her from ever having to revive. Unless I'm just misunderstanding and this 'regenerate from any damage dealt to her' clause refers to her phoenix revival? Additionally, it would be a bit unfair if she could copy any magic spells she sees for free, but I would be fine letting you spend level upgrades to learn magics displayed by other characters (of course, she'd still be able to freely use spells she picks up in the world, like Dark Souls pyromancies, once she obtains them).

Once we've sorted this out, the character seems good. I would want her to start on the White Team in the Frozen Highlands. We just reached an area called Krat Zoo, which has been overrun by mutant, aberrant animals known as carcasses. As for why, maybe she could be responding to a call for help from one of the Lost Vikings, all three of which are separated in Krat Zoo and need to be rescued/reunited.

Yeah, I'd certainly spend upgrades and stuff to actually use different spells. That case was more of a "if she spends time to look further into stuff she's seen she can replicated it pretty well". Essentially just an upgrade path, if that makes sense.

As for the revive part, it's more so me trying to work in both the fact that she can regenerate constantly and also balance the actual revives to not be a game winner. I'll reword it to make it sound better but the main goal is that the limitation is directly tied with Mokou's will to fight through the pain, though I suppose a better way to describe it would just be that Mokou can regenerate from any injury over time. She can be injured in battle and have it last but she'll just rapidly regenerate outside of battle. While the revives are just her deciding to forcefully incinerate her entire body in order to fight further.
