@GreivousKhan surely if the attack was from 7 feet away I'd have a 2 feet advantage to to turn and run if the average human stride was 5 feet? lets keep into account that rodetta's reflexes are much faster than the average human.

Keep in mind that his reach is about just shy 5 feet (counting his sword and arm length), typically fights are fought at about ten feet away with anything closer than that being pretty much grappling range after a quick lunge. You only need to take a step forward to be within striking range with a sword at that distance.

Also Rodetta's reflexes is not to much of a factor against someone who's speed is his main trait.

I have no idea what you're talking about, so I'll just assume those are the terms I'm looking for.

Google is friend to all.

Bloody hell, this guy must be popular wherever you guys are from.

Our equivalent is Jeremy Kyle.

It degrades women, mankind, and the black community. So yes very popular in America.
[@nelonHead] Got it. Thanks.

Ha, for some reason this made me smile.

This isn't a soap Opera. This is Maury.

Too slow.

Also Melon's just jelly.

I'll get to posting after work and dinner, and after that may slack off a bit and put it off until the weekend, but it's coming.

It's no secret that fallen reaper is the grim reaper's daughter, by the way. She's only half grim reaper but is still able to reap souls. This is why I had my soul removed and am now Nobody.

Madness, I am the Grimreaper and I recall having no daughter. Who's the father then? Skallagrim? Pfffffftttttttt...

Very tempting...

Also this is why I asked about the HQ lobby. Seems as good a place as any to have it. Assuming no one burned it down to the ground..
probably the former. ;)

hahahah. Maybe its because it seems structured around a war, if I'm not mistaken. Or rather built off one, similar to an RP, so people may think they are stuck in that sort of structure.

I think the MV would work better with a little less structure. Couple places like the HQ, to build character interactions, and let the fights settle it and build from there. Keeps it simple, and let's people build outside of constraints of trying to tie things all into the given story.

I was thinking of having a neutral haven of sorts for character interactions solely.
Khanza had to admit his opponent was continuing to surprise him even now. Instead of defending herself from his attack she instead opted to break into a run in the midst of such close quarters combat. This surprised the Cardinal, but he did not hesitate in his strike. His opponent might think themselves fast yet no one could outrun a sword blow simply by running away. The average human stride was approximately five feet, Khanza only needed half a step to close in range for his weapon. As Rodetta turned her body to the left, Khazna swung low aiming for the back of her exposed right legs knee. Aiming with the true edge of his left hand blade as he bent into a crouch sliding his left leg forward to brace his weight on.

Regardless of how fast she was, she’d need time to get to her full running speed from a standing position after a quick turn. Tablurath’s attack was one simple motion; a quick lunge using the weight of his body and gravity to speed the blow home. The woman sadly had no such advantage. It was often true more often than not in war that more men died in the heat of battle from a blow to their back, often after they had already been routed. This woman was going to learn that lesson the hard way. She’d have little chance to avoid or properly defend herself from the attack. Should it land she’d easily be hamstrung from the blow and left crippled.

Should she somehow avoid that attack, Khazna was already sending his right hand sword into simple twirl so that the saber was gripped blade down. A strong throw sent the sword toward the center of her back with deadly accuracy not unlike a pseudo javelin.
