I'm gonna have to say no to this. See under the cut

He's a Saggitarius, mate. No problem here, just thought I'd let you know.

There's a real name for this I swear to God, but I don't know what it is

...Ahem.

So what exactly is he descended from? All that was said was 'Greater Entity' and an example with Lucifer in it. That needs a bit more clearing up. If it's a story thing, just fire off a PM and explain there.

Magitech is Not Really A Thing. According to Cynder, it exists but isn't used since technology in Lucis is incredibly low-tech and Earth's stuff is apparently just better. Anyway, from here on, just assume everything regarding magitech or advanced technology basically has a big *MAGITECH IS NOT LIKE THAT* or *LUCIS IS NOT THAT ADVANCED* stapled onto it.

Okay, so there's a few problems here:
1) Mana crystals render being born a mage completely and utterly obsolete. They recharge the exact same way as natural mana, can change their alignment, and you can amass a crapload over time. So... Completely surpassing natural sources of mana.
2) Cynder doesn't like assault rifles in fantasy settings, which is what Lucis is.
3) Mana Bomb is a no. When you have a weapon that uses a hydrogen bomb as a measuring stick and can annihilate a town and only needs a simple reload to do again... Well, then you have a balance problem.
4) Please explain to me how a gun fires magic circles.
5) The alternate firing mode strikes me as less 'nonlethal' and more 'neurologically crippling' than anything.
6) Hydrogen fuel cells will blow you to shreds if anyone gets to them. Also, hydrogen cells, especially miniaturized, are not available at your local Lucismart.
7) Chakra/Chi/Ki = Mana. Not sure how your suit works if you have something that disrupts it. Also, it no-sells magic which is Not A Good Thing.
8) Lucisean power armor is Not A Thing.

Inventor or not, Lucis doesn't get Earth-level tech unless you've stolen it or are part of the black market/a scientific institution. Hell, they barely understand phones.

And before anything is said, I doubt an inventor working for a scientific institute is going to give his nephew all the snazzy prototypes.

Considering the rest of the CS, Leo is hardly a 'Jack of all Trades, Master of None' and more just a 'Master of All', and 'Recklessness' isn't a weakness when you have an answer to pretty much everything, outmatched or otherwise. Since I'm not a fan of meaningless disadvantages, please add some actual weaknesses.

The only magic that involves circles is rituals and written, the latter of which usually comes with instructions. And I doubt he's able to understand every tongue or have a program that does (which, incidentally, is software), especially considering Earth and Lucis only met two decades ago. Also, what exactly is the value of learning what a spell will do a few seconds before it happens?

...So is what it is relevant at all to the RP? If so, see 'Species'
Well, that's my two cents. If I missed anything, any other GMs go take a crack at it.
I'll post tomorrow after class.

Oh, any restriction on weapon choice?
Eliminating concepts, reality warping, replicating more than half the powers on the list...

Haha. Wow some of those are insane.

Considering I don't wanna play Kumagawa-lite, I'll probably go Space. It seems low-end enough not to be overwhelming, and I'm pretty well-versed in using it to good, creative effect in RPs I've been in
So what exactly do the Cosmic, Spirit, Nether, Space, and Aether elements entail?
A water salesman. A very prudent choice in profession, Ajax-Vei had to admit. There was indeed a market for that sort of thing in a barren desert such this. Though why he required any servants was beyond him. True, the Black Marsh had many plantations owned by humans or elves living along the more 'civilized' locales - Argonian slaves mostly, though it wasn't unusual for other races to serve as hired hands or slaves themselves - but they needed workers to work with plant-life and such. It was hardly glamorous work, or very ethical, but Ajax-Vei couldn't do anything to change it, so he didn't think it prudent to worry about such things. Meanwhile, the Argonian couldn't see why it was necessary here of all places. Surely all he required was a bucket, and a well or underground cistern?

Mmm... Underground cistern. He could really use one of those right now...

"Thhh.... Forget any ideas you have about dusty tomes, boring mages, and long nights cooped up in a study. Archaeology is about facts. I'm about lost cities, exotic travel, and digging up Tamriel. If I have to follow maps to buried treasures where X marks the spot, I will," the Argonian scholar explained as he followed after the elderly Bosmer.
I'll shoot out a post later tonight
The first house was evidently empty. Or perhaps they denizens just chose not to answer. His second choice was much more fruitful, the door opening to the visage of a woman of dark skin: a Redguard. The woman stood in stunned silence for a moment, seemingly at a loss of words. How bothersome. Was it truly that odd he was here, knocking on a door in search of assistance? Fortunately she had the right mind to immediately fetch him some water and allow him to enter her home once her senses caught up to her.

The house was much cooler than the outside, likely due to the presence of actual shade within it. The woman had left almost immediately after he had entered, going to fetch her 'master'. Left all alone within the house, Ajax-Vei drank from the bota-bag until his dehydration was sated, and then dumped the rest onto his head, moistening his scales once more. His gills flared at the sudden wetness, having been dry for so long. He left the woman's belongings untouched; he was a hunter of treasures, not a thief. Patiently he waited for the woman's return, until the sound of a bell reached his ears and the door opened to reveal an aged Wood Elf and the woman from earlier, the former asking about his presence in these lands.

"I am a scholar of the history of Tamriel. I came to the desert to venture around the Dwemer ruins," Ajax-Vei spoke, voice coarse and deep. Obviously he didn't tell the full truth, just the technical one. He'd been on both sides of an ambush against someone who'd braved much to secure loot, and it wasn't as if he were in the best shape as it were. He'd need more water for that.

"What of you, Bosmer? This land is both far from and unlike the forests of Valenwood. What is it that calls yourself to the land of the Ra'Gada?"
The Alik'r sun was hot on his scales, even as his cloak protected him from the brunt of the wrath of the desert sun. But the Argonian, a being of the water, had endured, even as many other travellers unaccustomed to this environment had not. However, perhaps that was to end soon. He was fatigued and unfocused. His supplies were running low, and that was if he still possessed them at all. It looked like his luck was finally running out.

Ajax-Vei growled. He had taken a detour on his way to the Lilac Bay, and this was what he got out of it. Was this punishment for his greed, his lust for knowledge and fortune that led him to search the Alik'r Desert for the Dwemer ruins allegedly hidden in dunes of sand?

But the Saxhleel wasn't going to stop yet. His soul may be destined to return to the Hist, but he wouldn't let it go without a fight if he wasn't ready.

And so he trudged on.

And on.

And on.

The land was uniform throughout, the only changing features being the position the sun glared at him from and the clouds that provided a moment's respite from the heat. At least until he came upon a small hamlet called Maurp Manor for... Some reason. But he had better things on his mind than why a small settlement would take a pretentious name. Fortune had favored him, and it seemed that today would not be the day he reaches the shore.

Ajax-Vei looked over the houses and knocked on the front door of the first one. If that was not answered, he would repeat the process for each. If none were answered, he would put to use his skill in breaking into locked vaults and secured chests.
