The thug thunked Levi over the side of the head, as if to prove that they were 'super serious guys'. Didn't these people know something about asking politely? They didn't even say please. Maybe if they had, he would've told them. Or not. Either way, they didn't say please. Levi shook his head exaggeratedly, as if expressing his distaste to the group. "Tisk, tisk, tisk," he began, a tisk for every revolution of his head and a rather equally exaggerated 'high class' voice, "It's exactly these kinds of actions by knuckle-draggers that I find so very tasteless. No sense of dramatics or pride. They can't even entertain their guests! They might even be as tactless as to threaten to execute us! For shame. I believe these barbarians would even do so anyway, attempting to execute us should we give them our valuable, much needed information about Monsieur Samuel Weaver."

Oh, he would pay for that, but Levi felt so, so good about himself at the moment. Truly there was nothing better than irritating these folk. Though he probably shouldn't go too far. Probably. It was pretty funny.

One two, first set of hits, three four, second set as in swinging them both at once, swinging them twice.

The way you described it in your post wouldn't work that way... Or rather, it would be really inefficient to do it that way. Since you crumple him forward with the elbow shot, pulling the pistols back up against his chest would be both slower and have less power than just slamming them on his back.

Though that's assuming your side-step elbow actually got through, which is something for a different time.

Food for thought.

EDIT: And yes, that would mean Cassius could feasibly block your 4 hits (or at least just the second set, elbow-stomach stagger is a bitch). Assuming he's not inebriated or anything.
Potatoasted.
Anna Brunhild

Anna mentally facepalmed when she heard a fourth voice enter the fray. The foreign Liar, if she recalled the voice correctly. She herself hoped her suspicions were incorrect as to the result of what was about to happen, but unfortunately, she was completely correct. It seemed the Liar made the situation all the more uncomfortable. For all parties involved, it seemed. The blonde took a really, really deep breath to compose herself. Wouldn't be good losing her cool this early... Though that'd only make her the, what, fourth person to have a mental breakdown? Hell, even then, hers wouldn't be caused by fear of getting slaughtered like an animal. No, it would be about how long she could go without getting a brain aneurysm.

"How about you take a goddamn- Err... No offense, 'nun' intended (heh) - minute to actually read the rules of the game before throwing around accusations!" Anna growled rather irritably, despite having taken steps to calm down earlier, something about getting yelled at without reason just got on her nerves. Maybe it was just stress from being stuck here rearing its ugly head. The blonde thief continued on, "For example. Rule number 6: 'a culprit who kills a fellow student will graduate the school. However, they must not let any other student know they are the culprit.' As you can see, there's three of us out here. There's nothing gained in killing you." She left out the word 'now' of course. Didn't want to add to the fright of somebody breaking into your bathroom.

"Oh right, forgot my manners," Anna added before the lock of the bathroom clicked and the door popped open, "Hi."

Astolfo Garneau

Astolfo smiled at the mute violinist as she took the seat he had offered across from himself. She seemed nice enough, and some kind of handicap wasn't going to scare him away from making a new friend. The pink-haired gamer registered Octavia scrawling something down. Was it a message for him? Nope, it was an order for food. Should've expected that, really, but then she started writing again. Maybe this time it'd be something for him. And it was!

The SHSL Gamer took a moment to read over the little note directed to him. Upon finishing the first sentence, Astolfo chirped his answer, "Yup." Then he continued onto the second, taking a few moments to contemplate that particular one. It was a hard question, after all. "Hmm...!" Astolfo sounded, exaggerating his thinking process with a stereotypical thinking pose, complete with beard stroking, "I think I'd say I like the Open World RPG genre the most! I mean, the hours you can engross yourself! But then again, any game with a multiplayer function could say the same... But as a wise man once said: a game can't stand on multiplayer alone! ...or something." He smiled innocently after that. "So what about you? What kinda stuff do you like to play? Err... On the violin. Or games. Either works."

"Oh that's good, and nice to meet you too Ren" Arydun gave him a warm, charming smile as she sat with her hands on her lap making herself look so cute and innocent "If you don't mind then Ren I'm going to order my breakfast, human-.....the food of this cafe is my favorite out of the whole city" The blue haired girl gave a nervous laugh as she quickly corrected herself, the Dragonette didn't want to give away what she really was to a stranger whom she had just meet. The blue haired girl grabbed the menu from the table and started to scan through the list, deciding to take two meals for herself even though she could eat more than that. Arydun didn't want to seem suspicious in anyway by ordering one of everything on the menu. Once she ordered her food and started to wait the girl then turned her green eyes back to Ren with that smile again, head tilted as she tried to think of what to say or ask him. The girl was never good with starting conversations, all the information she had collected and none of it could help her with the art of human conversation.

"...Right," Ren said skeptically, slightly raising an eyebrow at the hesitation he caught between the word 'human' and 'the food of...'. It sounded... really, really suspicious. Though he wouldn't hold it against her, it's not like humans were the only race in Uno Mundus. Though there were definitely a multitude he could rule out based solely on appearance - Beastmen, Fae, Angel, a few dozen types of Demon, etc... However, her actions spoke of someone who wasn't really in tune with humans, and that definitely stripped the list of a lot of races. He could count on one hand the amount of possible races he could think of that fit that description. 'What the hell, I'm not a goddamn detective,' Ren thought to himself, cutting his analysis off, 'Must be my damn ability. Making me analyze everything. Hrumph.'

Ren shook his head and checked the time. He was still early enough to stay a while and head for classes. His particular institute of learning started later than others. Though calling it a school would be a misnomer, it was more like a research facility. A research facility full of teens with scientists that double as teachers and some specialized classes to replace the more useless ones. He liked it, since his 'specialized classes' were literal 'social' studies, as well as some wandering. Given how his ability worked, it made perfect sense.

Hinata Nanami, Guardian of Rain
Name: Hinata Nanami
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Nationality: Japanese
Flames: Rain (Main), Sun, Lightning, Cloud, Mist, Storm
Appearance:

Faction: Vongola Famiglia and Allies
Weapons:
Shinai - A training sword for Kendo. Not exactly a good weapon, or even a subpar weapon. It's a good thing it's gonna be replaced.
Equipment/Items: Rain Vongola Ring, Lightning CAI Ring, Cloud CAI Ring, Mist CAI Ring, Storm CAI Ring
Box Weapons/Animals:
Sistema Cambio Arma Instantaneo - Infinito Creazione di Spada/Infinite Creation of Swords - A set of Box Weapons modeled after the Sistema CAI of Gokudera Hayato. However, unlike the original, this particular variation is composed solely of Rain-attribute Boxes, rather than a multitude of different attributes. Furthermore, it lacks any 'utility' Boxes like the Bone Loops or the Storm Disk. In fact, initially it would seem it isn't a Sistema CAI at all if it weren't for the somewhat unusual properties that the weapons recieve when coated in different Flames. Each of the Boxes contain a hilt of a Japanese bladed weapon, whether it be a polearm, dagger. or a sword, without the blade. The 'blade' of the hilt is actually formed from Hinata's Rain Flames, the Hard/Ice variant of Rain, allowing for a choice between any type of blade depending on the situation. A longsword with a katana hilt? A plain katana? A halberd? Hinata's got it all covered. However, to change the type of blade it is, he must first remove the blade entirely and recreate it. The same applies to if he wishes to swap out Flame properties on his blades. He recieves the following properties, dependent on which Flame he choses to coat a blade in:
  • Rain: By coating the weapon's Hard Rain blade with Soft Rain Flames, the user can create wounds that won't heal until the entire Sistema CAI is turned off, as well as the standard slowing debuff. It does this by slowing the cells in the damaged area, thus slowing muscle movement and cellular regeneration.
  • Lightning: Coating the blade in Lightning Flames gives Hinata two options. He can 'sharpen' the blade to the point of effectively becoming an armor-piercing, anti-shield weapon, or he can 'harden' the blade to make it more effective at resisting attacks.
  • Mist: Quite simply, coating the blade with Mist Flames results in a completely invisible blade. While this doesn't sound as impressive as the other abilities, it could actually be considered more potent than the others, if used effectively.
  • Cloud: Rather than using the Propagation property of the Cloud Flames, a blade coated in this Flame uses the property of Cloud that allows it to absorb Flame aura it comes into contact with, and changes the blade's Flame attribute accordingly, without having to recreate the blade.
  • Storm: Allows the Storm coated blade to attack... FOR MASSIVE DAMAGE! It can also spread the Storm Flames around to create environmental hazards, but Hinata's not really the type to go causing collateral to win a fight.
  • Cane di Pioggia ver. Vongola/Rain Dog ver. Vongola - "Jirou" - Yes, that Jirou. Formerly Yamamoto's secondary Box Animal, it was rotting in the Vongola Base for many years after the 10th Generation Family. That is, until Hinata had decided to use the shortsword-wielding Shiba Inu as his Box Animal of choice.
  • Sistema Cambio Arma Instantaneo - Forma di Pioggia Lupo/Rain Wolf Form - Almost immediately after recieving his variant of the Sistema CAI, Hinata would choose to implement Jirou within the system. Upon providing the Shiba Inu some Sun Flames, it matures and powers up into a Rain Wolf, with parameters that can't even be compared to the original Rain Dog.
  • Backstory/Personality: Hinata is driven by a sense of inferiority literally and metaphorically beaten into him throughout his life. He was born physically weak, and as a result, was unable to go outside and play with the other kids for a better part of his childhood. However, the young little child held a love of sports and outdoor activities despite his inability to do so effectively. He held an optimistic, steadfast belief that his weak bodily condition didn't matter, and he could do whatever the other, physically-able children could. As such, he'd often try out for varying school sports teams - baseball, volleyball, soccer, etc - only to get rejected due to his natural-born fragility. And mocked for it by the people who did manage to get on the team. Fortunately though, every now and then he was accepted due to lack of sign-ups. Plus, there were always his friendly neighbours who would often opt to play a game of ball or whatever with the young lad, whether out of pity or genuine kindness, Hinata doesn't know - or care, for that matter; as some things are better left unknown. Although, there was one he knew was definitely there because she cared: Sawada Ami, his neighbour and best - not to mention only! - friend.

It was during the clubs' display during his first week of middle school when Hinata found his calling. It started off as a relatively regular day, or at least as regular as a first-week-of-middle-school-day went. Go to classes, eat lunch, more classes, so on so forth. However, that day he attended the display, having opted earlier to take up an extracirricular activity, a sports club of some sort, to be specific. Assuming they'd accept a whelp like himself, of course. He walked around the grounds, watching people play basketball or baseball, but Hinata didn't find a sports club that he'd like to live with for the rest of his middle school career. There was one last place to check out before he called it a day and opt to join the 'Go Home And Mope After School Club': the Namimori Middle Kendo Club.

And boy, did he love the Nami Middle Kendo Club.

Sure, he thought the whole thing was absolutely impossible for him to do, much like his opinions on most other full-contact sports, but after watching a match and getting engrossed within the sound of bamboo-on-bamboo and the excitement of the crowd as the captain got in his winning shot...! Needless to say, Hinata knew he had to get in this club, personal weakness be damned. So he tried out.

Obviously he failed spectacularly, but it was the thought that counted. Though thought doesn't get you in your dream club. Or stop the club members from mocking and bullying you every time you tried to join the club everyday for the first year of middle school. So he trained even more. He went home and trained, day in and day out, using his free-time solely for either training or hanging out with Ami. Sometimes both. He didn't have a shinai or bokken to train with, so for the first few months he used a large wooden stick until he finally managed to persuade his parents to get him an actual, honest-to-God shinai to train with. And he carried that thing around everywhere, and was often teased for it. Older, tougher people would often mock and bully him, causing Hinata to try and retaliate, only to fail and go home with a dozen bruises that his BFF Ami usually ended up having to fix. Hell, even the Kendo Club members joined in, staging mock fights and using the too-idealistic-for-his-own-good-Hinata as a training dummy. Eventually, the Rain Guardian learned his lesson: if you can't tank the hits, just avoid them. So he trained again. This time working on footwork and reaction speed. Lo and behold, during his second year of middle school, he actually won his first fight, putting together his superb speed along with his technique to dodge and hit those assholes who thought it was a good idea to corner him after school. Sure, he recieved some damage, but not as much as usual.

So, he tried to join the club again. But attempting to join every day for two years tends to get on peoples' nerves, so instead of denying him, they just flat out ignored and/or beat the crap out of him with their superior abilities. Sure, he was quick, but when you get cornered and are up against guys that are both bigger and better than you, you kind of end up getting the shit kicked out of you. So he trained... Again. After all, there was still high school, right?

...No, no there wasn't. Sad face.

    Equipment/Items: Cloud CEDEF Ring
    Box Weapons/Animals:
Ragno di Nuvola/Cloud Spider - "Nest" - A large spider, rather than multiple smaller spiders, that spins webs of Cloud Flames that both absorb Flames that it comes in contact with, as well as absorb those from the people the web entangles, whether or not they're actively using Flames.

Because both seriously and personally, I'd think that nobody would want to do mental calcs to figure out how much money they have in a fictional universe.

    The Pyrotechnic

    Name:
    Gareth Vale
    Age:
    17
    Personality:
Despite his adherence to the ideals of truth, justice, honor and chivalry, Gareth isn't actually the knight in shining armor he seems to be. He realizes the world sucks huge donkey nuts and will always let him down in the end, but that doesn't stop him from fighting for what he believes in - not because he actually feels he could make a difference, but rather, because it's the right thing to do. He's just exchanged his knightly shining armor for a full suit of sarcasm and snark. He tries to be the best person he can be, doing his best to be as close to that concept of a 'knight' as he can - though he's basically given up on his own personal honor or morality. Bend the rules to save them, and all. If he has to commit all the world's evils just to save it, he'll do it in a heartbeat.
    Bio:
Gareth is a member of the Special Tasks Group - nicknamed the 'Blackguard' due to the public image being that of a royal guard, as well as the fact they wore black armor as a uniform - who was born to a relatively ordinary family, all things considered. Sure his mother was always at home because of some incurable illness and his father was often out doing his job to 'keep the world safe' as an STG agent, but Gareth was always able to balance out his free time with his responsibilities and live life like a normal kid. Plus, every now and then, his father would come back home, ask Garry how he was doing, hang out, and maybe give him a lecture about life decisions and truth and honor and other knightly sounding stuff whenever he heard he got in trouble, which was somewhat frequently. Then he'd leave and it'd go back to the same old routine. However, this life stage of his didn't last too long, since his mother's condition deteriorated and eventually caused her to pass from this world. He was around 7 at the time.

So with nowhere to go and nobody else really to live with - grandparents gone or in some old folk's home, aunts and uncles who never really kept in touch, cousins who were busy at college, etc - he was taken to live with his father, alongside the rest of the Special Tasks Group members and other military types. He'd often have to pull his own weight, help around the place, but life was fine, he supposed. He even made friends with some of the soldiers, as well as their visiting families. Eventually, the fact that there was a kid running around a military facility just became exactly that: a fact of life. He'd often spend his time training and exercising alongside the soldiers, even participating in those combat simulations of theirs. Just a little while before he turned 10, an officer approached him. There was one thing that could mean, and it wasn't good. Gareth knew the words before they left the man's mouth, but there wasn't any crying. Just a single, solemn word: "Where?"

Cut to age 11, and you'd see Gary over here training his ass off for actual military duty. This wasn't for entertainment like it used to be, this preteen had actually pulled some strings and got quite the early entrance. What he lacked in strength or speed, he had in wits. A particularly memorable event was after a rather long, arduous hike through the hot, summer wilderness, the trainees were tasked with getting to the end of an obstacle course. First person to succeed got a ride back to base with the CO, everyone else had to hike back. And so while others were focused on climbing a rock wall and whatnot, Gareth just walked around it. Hey, he got to the end first, didn't he? Well he got a good reprimand, just like the other times he would end up pulling stunts like that, but in the end, they had to admit he was right since he did fulfill the terms of the agreement.

Half a year later, Gary was chosen to become an STG member, but first he'd have to go through the training. It didn't take too long, another half a year, but finally he was ready for active duty as a member of Special Tasks. His first mission was a simple assassination of a guy who couldn't keep his mouth shut. Though, upon his arrival in the, as Obi-Wan once put it, 'wretched hive of scum and villainy', something seemed to click. He remembered what his father always told him, all those talks about justice and doing the right thing, as he saw thugs kick the helpless while they were down. He had to help these kinds of people, it's what his dad would've wanted, right? He would've wanted him to do his best to protect people, to save everyone.

And so began a downward spiral of a man who believed in his ideals, and by them was driven into despair.

    Weakness:
Stuff that puts out fires - lack of oxygen, water, fire extinguishers, etc. - disables his ability
Sure he's immune to heat and fire, but he isn't immune to the concussive force or shrapnel of an explosion
Because of the destructive power of fire, he rarely delves into the truly powerful applications of his pyrokinesis due to potential collateral damage
His idealistic sense of justice and desire to become a hero is both exploitable, and can put him at odds with his allies and superiors
His actions could be called suicidal for more reasons than one. Incidentally, none of them are because he's actually suicidal.
    Other:
For justice and for glory, he will cast down the scales of a world long past morality; he will create a world where a cry for help will surely be answered, always.

If the Bio is a bit vague as to what happens after age 12-13, that's intentional. Don't wanna play all my cards now, do I?

...And I added that bit at the end of the CS because I wanted a poetic-ass thing like Jas's CS
