it's my birthday!

Happy Birthday, Mal. How old're you?
Ah Blu, we meet again. I'll be down for this.
Attempting to access classified files from the comfort of an internet cafe's roof was not how Gareth wished to spend his night. Nor did he like nursing his own wounds after what he'd consider a near death experience. Fortunately, all that spec ops training didn't go to waste. He'd have to make a point of thanking his old instructor when they meet again in the afterlife. But that was all besides the point. While his STG status provided him passcodes for way up the informational hierarchy, whatever information he was looking for was definitely higher up the chain... Provided it even existed in the first place. Meaning he'd have to put that hacking training to use. Perfect.

Gareth sighed. Was he really wasting his career on a hunch? He looked down at the screen, revealing a string of code to bypass. The point of no return. He could back out at any moment and nobody would be any wiser about it. The agent looked around and then back at the screen. "...At least it's a public connection," Gareth sighed, putting his hand to his face in frustration at himself, "Let's get to work."

Gareth was pretty damn sure he'd set off about a bazillion alarms somewhere. But fortunately, the closest base was lying in ruins. If he had anything, he had time. And time was of the essence "At least I'm not checking the Big Boss' porn history," Gareth laughed dryly to himself, "no, I'm just hacking into the files of a now destroyed top secret facility for information concerning a known terrorist. Much less worse than that." Finally, all the files were cracked and uploaded. Immediately after that, the computer was left as a melted mess on the roof. Getting rid of evidence was pretty easy when you could basically disintegrate anything with sufficient heat. Now what to do with it...?
Well Storm Disintegrates which I think is a hell of a lot like Destroying. Though, if all you want from your Flames of Wrath is breaking shit, then plain Storm would probably work too.

Also for some reason I see this guy knowing Bajiquan. Must be the 'short range, explosive power' schtick that seems to mesh well with the bodily reinforcement and the... well, explosive power.

"Err... More like I didn't want to join a family feud," Aoi explained sheepishly as he rubbed the back of his head. Incidentally, despite being a meister, Aoi was rarely a head-on, confrontational person and usually opted to avoid trouble when possible, or at the very least get it over and done with as quickly as possible. Nowhere was this more evident than how he fought, but that's for another time. "I don't think I really have to explain what I mean by that..." he added. It wasn't a secret that the two Reaper kids weren't very fond of each others' existences, after all, "...but off the topic of me and my social life... How about you two?"
*looks around* Well i can't for the life of me think of anything on topic in the IC to post.
I got Stry on Skype and am waiting for a response on things ^_^"

Arydun started to look rather sad when all she got for her efforts was an okay, thinking that he didn't care about what she was going through as she hung her head a little "Spirit dragons never lie" The dragoness responded in a saddened voice. She started to think that maybe she had been wrong about humans and that they didn't care for the suffering of others, that is what her parents use to tell her when she was but a hatchling but she never use to believe it. She was just about to accept that this was the way humans were until Ren started to speak again, slowly lifting her green eyes to look to him as he spoke about having nothing else to do for his day. Her mood and expression instantly brighting up when he spoke about saving a race while paying for the food."Really?" She questioned "Thank you, thank you so much!" The Dragoness exclaimed as she leapt from her seat and wrapped her arms around Ren's neck, hugging him rather awkwardly and crushing him a little to

"..." Ren was silent. Not because he was angry, or happy, or had nothing really to say. No, it was because he couldn't even make a noise with the degree of strength this girl was embracing him with. The most he could get out was a croak that sounded somewhere along the lines of "peas let grow." Which, while technically a proper sentence, wasn't exactly what he was attempting to convey. Hopefully Arydun would get the goddamn message, though and loosen the frig up so they could actually get to doing shit. Doing his best to squirm his way out of her grasp, Ren tried once more to get what he was saying out there. "...Let go," he said quietly and bluntly before saying, "...and can we just get to work?" 'Since standing here's not doing anything and letting people watch as you hug me is friggin' useless, after all,' Ren thought, rolling his eyes.

"What's the first objective?"
