Béatrix: Trixy's lips curved up slightly when Alistair asked her to make him a drink. "A regular bar keep tonight, aren't I?" she asked with a chuckle in her tone. "Keep the drinks flowing and the assholes outside." She reach up into the bar and pulled down a a wide wine glass. She mixed a healthy amount of white rum, blood from a bag, and seltzer together and offered in the Ali. "Vampire's Weakness." she gave him the name of the drink, one of her own creation. "When should we head out, and where to?" Trixy then asked, getting back to business and in a more serious tone.
Béatrix: Trixy watched the exchange between Mithias and Alistair. She wondered what kind of skills this rogue had, he claimed to know quite a bit, and where he had learned them. Trixy was an investigator herself before meeting Alistair. It was always a personal thing, picking up leads on crooked supernaturals that needed dealing with, killing based on her own twisted moral code alone. Béatrix made it no secret that she was silently judging Mithias, watching his movements and reading into his words. He claimed to be more than willing to fight with and for them, let him prove himself on the battle field. Trixy poured herself another drink, wishing that she could feel drunk, it was more a force of habit than anything. Jareth: Jar kept his eyes downcast as he walked. Being such a young vampire, in the grand scheme of things that is, the sunlight still had quite an overwhelming effect on him. He would have to find himself a little trinket to take home within the hour. The smell of vampire was thick in the air that day, he wondered if Theo’s attack had anything to do with that. All that fuss over one lass… Jareth shook his head in disappointment. Although, he must admit that he is curious to see this Adelisa -wondering what it was about her caused Theo to act so brash. Jar shrugged his shoulders, thinking she must have quite the paradise between her thighs. Why else do men bother with women?
In chatzy, Apollo mentioned her having Kingston ideals, like Praetor. I don't know why he didn't put her in that family.
Béatrix: Béatrix gave Praetor a curt nod as he took a swig of chartreuse and headed off. If one didn’t know any better, they might have taken that whole exchange as friendly and cordial. Trixy wasn’t sure how to feel about it, she was just glad that one less non-Blackmoore vampire was in her presence. She now turned her attention to the others in the room. Trixy almost breathed a sigh of relief when Alistair said that he’d rather not send her with Adelisa. If Trixy had to spend any amount of time alone with that insufferable brat, surely her gun would put a bullet hole in a vampire’s head, be it Adelisa’s or her own. When the childlike rogue had the gall to slap the Head of Clan Blackmoore, she nearly sent the barstool hurling at the her, with the hopes that one of the legs would find her heart. Instead of being so brash, she simply growled low in her throat and eyed the girl down until she was finally out of the bar. Evidently, Alistair shared Trixy’s relief in the girl’s temporary absence. “I can’t believe I ever wanted to become Clan Head.” he said aloud. Béatrix smiled and cocked her head to the side. “Come now, surely there are some pleasures to being on top?” she said with one eyebrow raised, a wink hidden in the sparkle of her eyes. Jareth: Jar heard Theo call something along the lines of “Don’t fall for a whore, they’ll just break your heart.” At that, he gave a hearty chuckle and yelled back at Theo over his shoulder. “Fall? Brother, I never fall.” He said snarkily, with a thick layer of cockiness embedded in his words. Jareth emerged from the underground catacombs, cloaked in shadows. No vampires, aside from Theo and a select few guards, in this city knew who he was, and he liked that - It gave him the freedom to wander the streets safely. Although he carried a packet of O-neg pills in his pocket, if anyone knew that he was the supreme vampire drug lord, he would be killed by someone hoping to take a seat on his throne. But, only he knew the recipe, so that would be a bit for naut. Better to be safe and secretive about the whole thing, regardless. With his scarlet red guitar strapped to his back, he took to the streets, looking every bit the enticing rock star. The wind tousled his perfectly styled silver and black locks and the sound of leather rubbing together filled the air as he walked. He wore devastatingly tight skinny jeans, a white tank that read “Keep Calm and Rock On” in a trendy fashion, topped with a leather jacket covered in studs and multiple straps and buckles, making it look like a marching band jacket. He whistled a mysterious melody as he quite literally prowled the streets.
Béatrix: Trixy studied Praetor as he talked on the phone, given her vampiric hearing; she caught every word Lucian said. Instead of childishly mouthing ‘I told you so’, which she was perfectly entitled to do, she just simply nodded in understanding. Praetor looked about as unsettled as he probably could get in that moment, and asked her for a drink. Béatrix did him one better than a simple drink, she topped of her glass of chartreuse, and then offered him the rest of the bottle. That particular brand cost a pretty penny and was her favorite, so it was quite the gift. “Here’s to a solution that involves the least amount of death, at least among your friends and mine, may the rest turn to ashes in the wind.” She said with a cool smile and leaned back before taking another calming gulp of the green liquour. As much as she disliked the Kingston’s and their ideals, they weren’t her enemy. There was a greater enemy out there, beyond this concrete jungle, an enemy to all vampires, human sympathetics or not. And now, there was a greater enemy in the city, rogue vampires willing to capture and destroy established foundations that kept vampires safely hidden from human eyes. When Alistair gave her the okay to brandish her weapon, she immediately took one of her glocks out and placed it on the bar. Her eyes caressed it much like it were her lover. She drew her finger along the cool metal, her breath catching at the sight of dirt and blood smudges, it needed polishing. Hell, she probably could use a good polishing after tonight’s battle - but a bath could wait until Maria was safe and sound in Skye Manor. Trixy pouted slightly when Ali sent the guard to tell them to kindly piss off instead of her, maybe he wasn’t actually serious about letting her shoot the next passerby. Adelisa had promised to help them find Maria, and in her next breath she was pacing around the bar and then telling them she was leaving. The click of Béatrix cocking her gun silenced the room. Trixy held the weapon, poised perfectly at the back of Adelisa’s head. Trixy didn’t even like this girl, and she sure as hell didn’t trust her, she doubted that Ali fully did either. Adelisa would not be leaving their sight until Maria was back in their grasp. “You aren’t going anywhere, darling.” Not until I’m bathing in their blood. The last part she merely thought in her head instead voicing aloud. Jareth: “Married?!” Jar said as he flung his hands out to his sides in theatrical disgust. “You can’t be serious!” The idea of marriage was the farthest thing from Jareth’s mind, he couldn’t fathom why someone would even consider something so… stupid. “Well, this place is a real snooze now.” His voice had a petulant whine to it, much like a spoiled child. “I think I’m going to stir up some trouble in the town. Ya know? Find myself a good bite to eat, and an even better whore.” Jareth said before winking at Maria and turning to leave. “And then I think I’ll eat her too...” he said out loud to himself as he walked away.
Methinks Praetor has a crush on Trixy. Those French soldiers were a really nice touch. :p
Béatrix: Trixy raised an eyebrow at his mention of the English, sure he must know how much she would detest them – given her nationality and age. “Was that an attempt at an apology?” she asked in a surprisingly serious tone, showing that he obviously hit a nerve. “Don’t come here hoping for peace and ‘good will’ when you are willing to speak of such filth.” she said in a growl. When Béatrix heard someone else enter the door, her blood was just about ready to boil. Her face softened when the suave brunette strutted in like he owned the place. “Adriannn” she purred “Where did you run off to? You missed quite a bit. Come, sit, sit.” She said as she tapped the stool next to her. Trixy begrudgingly brought her eyes back to Praetor – he had to be dealt with if the Blackmoore’s ever wanted to get him out of the bar. “Lucian isn’t here. He found out about Maria and took off.” Her voice trailed off a bit and her eyes became a bit more distant and callous. “I told them it was foolish. Love is too dangerous for us immortals, the loss of a promised forever can break a vampire.” She said as she took a huge swig of the potent green liquour, inwardly reflecting on her own descent into madness. Once she swallowed, she spoke up again, her expression unreadable. "Where ever he went, I suggest you tread carefully. I know it my seem odd for one such as yourself feel afraid, but if he really did love Maria... he will be a force of terror that you have yet to know." Alistair emerged from the back room and was obviously more agitated by their guests than she was. “Ali, dear, would you like me to simply shoot the next vampire who walks through that door and isn’t our family?” she asked with a small smirk, both joking and completely willing to do so at the same time.
Béatrix: Apparently this stranger was susceptible to her deception. How easily one can believe a lie if it boosts to the ego to do so. The rogue took it upon himself to grab her hand and kiss it. She let him raise the hand to his lips before she flipped it over and grabbed him by the chin. “I said that you could come in, not that you could touch me.” Her fierceness was echoed in her crystalline eyes. “You’re on my turf, and these are tense times, so you will play by my rules. Understood?” Trixy said with a dangerous sharpness to her words. He introduced himself as Mithias as he went to walk by her, causing her to turn to the bar. In all her dramatic flair to get to the door, she had blown right past Praetor, who sat with his feet up on the bar. Forgetting the stranger for a moment, she glared at the ancient vampire. “Why are you here? If you’re here to defend your precious family name, save your breath. We already know it wasn’t The Kingstons.” A small smile quirked on her lips, pulling them up slightly at the corners. “Or maybe you just came for another show…” her smiled widened. “What was it that you called me when we last met?” she put a finger to her lips and tapped it in a mockery of deep thought. “A French whore, was it?” she chuckled and glared daggers at him. “Tisk, tisk” Trixy’s blue eyes flicked between the two guests before she walked behind the bar. “Alistair will be out shortly, he has important matters to tend to for the moment. I don’t know about you fellas, but I for one, could sure use a drink.” She pulled a bottle of her favorite chartreuse out from under the bar and grabbed glasses. Jareth: “Ahh, Theo, you used to be so much more fun.” His lips twitched in a playful smile as he looked up at the elder vampire. He loosened his grip on Maria’s chin and shrugged his shoulders. He looked at Maria with feigned innocence and disappointment. “You heard the boss, looks like you won’t be blessed to have me for a night. I’ll have to find another to warm my bed with in your stead.” Jareth said with a quick wink at her before letting go. Jareth stood to his full height and put his hands in the pockets of his black leather skinny pants. His style was the perfect mixture of 80s rocker and modern indie chic – lots of black leather, studs, band shirts, piercings and unique hair. “My day was fine, made another batch of O-neg to get out on the streets, made sure to personally test it for quality, and I even wrote a new song.” He gave the captive singer girl a knowing glance. “Pretty productive day all in all, but it looks like it was a bit more boring than yours.” He gestured to the girl. “All this trouble for one slave girl? Why not just take in a new one, this one perhaps, she seems far more interesting than this Adelisa that you have described.” Jar suggested, not really caring about being offensive - He was about as offensive as you can get, and had no regard for social cues or morality - not anymore, at least.
I think I'm going to officially check out of this RP, guys. It just hasn't grabbed. :/
