@Meridian, with that much alcohol consumption in a short span, Grant might end up in the hospital. O.o That certainly would be dramatic.

@Dirty Pretty Lies, yay, you're back! Glad you had fun. :3
“Mr. Pyschic?” he chuckled at her sarcasm, it was a good sign that she was still feisty. “Well, I can do my best to keep Grant away from you, if that’ll help you feel better. And it doesn’t have to be a couples vacation, though I doubt Hunter and Milli made up, I wouldn’t forgive him if I was her. Hell, I’m not very happy with him myself at the moment. But you guys should still have your girls vacation together.” Jar smiled and looked over at Lila with affection in his eyes “Just… let me have her for the nights.”

Adelisa started to get worked up again, but she seemed less likely to be a danger to herself. Jar felt like he didn’t really need to be there anymore, Lila was her best friend, she could help better than he could from now on. Dela looked at the sleeping pills and realized most of them were gone and inquired as to where. Jar made an awkward face, yup, definitely time for him to go. “What’s that? I don’t know… Hey, Bombs. I’m gonna go for a run and then shower. I’ll talk to you later?” he hoped that he’d be able to see her later, but he’d settle for talking only if Dela needed her to stay. Before walking out the door, Jar turned back to Adelisa “It gets better Addy, I promise. And if it seems like it isn’t, you can always talk to me about it, phone or in person, it doesn’t matter when.” She nodded and Jar left the two of them alone.

Once back in his own suite, Jar changed into the clothes he packed for running, a green tank top and black basketball style shorts. A lot had happened today, a good run along the beach and through the woods would offer a peaceful escape from his thoughts. Above all, he ran with a smile on his face, so very gratefully that Delilah was around to keep it there once more. This time around, they’d try to do things right by each other…
@Savi, I'm waiting on your post to close the scene, I don't really have much left for Jar to say. I'll be on after work tomorrow!
Jareth pressed his lips in a straight line when Addy told him about her and Grant’s break up. It seemed as though both of his best friends weren’t quite honest about their reasons for ending things with their girls. At least when Jar and Lila broke up he was honest with them, a sobbing emotional mess that they didn’t know how to deal with, but honest none-the-less.

“I’m sorry that he did that to you, Addy. If it helps, I knew that you were more than just his friend from the start. He did love you; he’d talk about you when it was just us guys, but…” Jar let out a sigh and sat down in the fluffy arm chair across from the bed before speaking again. “Grant has issues about his appearance, which, I’m sure you know best of all of us. He didn’t like to be seen out with me either. That being said, it’s Grant’s problem, not yours. He is just paranoid and cautious, but there is nothing wrong with you. You are beautiful and spunky and musical, and it is really Grant’s loss to not be with you anymore. But you, you deserve someone who wants to show you off to the world. Don’t let the meathead get you down so low, you’re destined for much greater things.”
After letting them in, Dela went to her bed and sobbed into her pillow. Jar shut the door softly behind them and did a quick sweep of the room, seeing what was around that Addy might be tempted to use against herself. He knelt down to scoop up the pills and put them back in the container. He noticed they were sleeping pills, so he put the container in his pocket to take out of the room when he left. Jar was no hypocrite, though, if Dela wanted to use drugs to make the pain go away, he wouldn’t stop her. Hell, he had done worse things to numb himself. So he put three of the pills on her end table, it wasn’t enough to kill her, but enough to make her sleep for a while if that’s what she needed to feel better.

Delilah had sat on the bed next to Adelisa and rubbed her back, she spoke a little bit, but Jar could tell that she was trying really hard not to say too much. She had pretty much given Jar the reigns to do all of the talking, but he didn’t really have anything to say. Addy had to lead this conversation. There is healing in talking out your problems. “I don’t need to talk if you don’t want me too. I can just listen.” He looked over at the doorway, the acoustic he had returned to her was leaning against the wall. “Or I could play for you, and you could sing. Lila and I would love to hear you sing.” That what he did to feel better when he was down, some of his best lyrics were written in times of deep sorrow. His stomach grumbled a little, he hadn’t eaten all day and he wasn’t sure they had either “Or we could all just sit here quietly and order a ton of room service.”
I'm on that chat if ya'll are feeling it!
”Okay, JarBear, I promise I’ll behave,” Delilah said in the most gentle voice she could muster. She was sweet, and precious and graceful, all things he’d greatly missed in life these past two months. When she took his hand in hers, it hit him full force: He’d just earned her back mere hours ago, they should be celebrating with each other. There’d be time for that later, he supposed, once everyone was safe from harm – at least, temporarily safe.

Just before Jar and Lila left Hunter in the dust, Amelia came outside of the suite. ”Thank you, Jar. For taking care of her. And for giving Lila her smile back.” Jar smiled, she was probably unaware of how much her words of affirmation meant. He’d spent his whole life being treated like that bad guy, even though he wasn’t. Hell, his own foster parents kicked him out. Jar gave Hunter a pointed look and looked from him, to Amelia as she was walking away.

“You gotta clean up the mess you made, Hunter, even if it doesn’t fix things immediately.” he whispered to Hunter. With that said, Jar and Lila went back into the suite. He let go of her hand, as hard as it was to do, before knocking softly on the door frame. “It’s just Lila and I, I promise.” Was the only thing he said.
The door cracked slightly, and Jar looked up to see Dela peeking an eye out. "I-I only w-want y-you and Lila..." she stammered out, voice choppy with emotion. Jar nodded "Of course, I'll go get her and be right back. I promise." At that, he stood up and went to the suite door, where Delilah was giving Hunter a reaming for... pushing her?. Oh yeah, he had a death wish, all right. Making enemies left and right.

"Hey Bombs, she opened the door a little for me. She just wants the two of us to go in there, and I know it will be hard for you, but you can't talk and try to give advice, okay? Not unless she askes for it." Jar explained to Delilah, not even bothering to look at Hunter. He'd climb that mountain when he got to it.
Jareth felt her fingers brush against his, soft as the spring breeze, and timid as a bunny. He hadn't realized she would be right there. When Amelia came in, Jar tried to raise his left index finger to his lips to keep her quiet, but it didn't work. And it was too late, another voice disturbing the peace must have spooked her, because he couldn't feel Adelisa's fingers anymore. Some small capsules hit the ground and bounced into his hand. Pills. He was making progress and none of them even realized it, he held back his frustration and instead focused on Dela's words. She didn't want them all there, and she didn't want to talk. He'd figured as much, one of the worst things you can do to a suicidal person is try to downplay their situation, or give them advice that you really don't know how to give. He kept his hand under the door "No one's going to talk anymore. We don't need to talk. I can come in there and just sit with you, if you want. Or I can just stay sitting here." he didn't have to say it outright for the message to be clear: Either way, I'm not leaving.
Ack, I don't know what to do, should I just leave my post as is or edit it so that he never followed Hunter? The little fuck just walked away from Jar after dropping a bomb like that, can't believe it. Lol
