Belongings: An omamori (protection/good luck charm) Dreamcatcher, multiple small daggers, traveling rations, and some money
Personality: Quiet, smart, not very social, compassionate, humble
Legend of Awesome: Yue used to live in a small isolated village in the mountains. Some of the people in that village had a special ability: the ability to walk into others' dreams. The villagers believed that those who could dream walk were deemed worthy to do so by the Gods. This made the leaders of the village ensure that such powers were used only for good, along with the fact that the ability to dream walk has dire consequences on the victim and user if used inappropriately. Those who had used it for their own selfish deeds or for entertainment, were cast out of the village. Yue's older sister was one of these people. One day, Yue's sister, Taiyang, returned to the village, and killed everyone there in the middle of the night. Yue was the only one who had survived the raid.
Normally, one would be driven to get revenge, but Yue didn't succumb to that desire. Instead, she blamed herself, because she was the one who told the leaders of the village and in turn got her sister exiled. She journeyed across the land, hoping to better herself. She knows that it's possible that she may have the village born ability to dream walk, but she isn't sure. If she did have it, she vowed to never use that ability. She wanted to fight using her own strength. She knows that one day, she will have to confront her own sister.
It wasn't until she reached the village of Gei-Lan that she had heard of Master Shi, and decided to become his student.

Personality: Kind, smart, and very empathetic towards others. However, she's not very talkative, very shy, and she tends to stand back and try to figure out a certain situation before acting. She will stand up for someone if necessary (especially when a victim isn't standing up for themselves). She may not look like much, but she knows how to fight.
History: Lisa grew up in a small family and in a small town near Cheshire, England. When Lisa was little, there wasn't much to do for fun except to read books or watch TV. She opted for reading books, and she loved the stories that came from the books. Alice in Wonderland was one of those books she loved. From those stories, she gained the inspiration to write her own stories and develop a bit of an imagination of her own. During childhood, she gained the dream of being a writer herself. However, reality wasn't kind. Her parents constantly fought with each other, and eventually they divorced. Lisa moved out of that town with her mother to New York. She was uncomfortable with the large crowds and tended to keep to herself all throughout childhood and high school. When she was in college though, majoring in English, she tried to get out of her shell. She is now a Middle School English Teacher, and she is trying to work on a book. Trying being the key word here. She has a serious writer's block and has no idea as to what she should write.

The alarm clock blared once again, giving off the annoying tone as always. It was immediately silenced by Mei, who became quickly alert and awake. She had already been lying awake by the time the alarm clock went off. She was quite used to getting up earlier than six in the morning, thanks to her time spent in that temple. She sighed as she got up and made her small breakfast, which was a plastic cup full of instant oatmeal. As she ate her breakfast, she finished her homework for her classes. After that, she quickly got dressed, gathered her things and headed for her first class of the day. She ran her schedule for today through her mind. Other than her usual college classes and homework, there was also a charity event that she was going to help out with tonight. The charity event was a festival, and the money received would go towards to helping the orphanages and after school programs for children.
As she headed for classes, she passed by the field where athletes were practicing and training in various sports. She herself preferred to run whenever she can, but unfortunately, there was no time for her to do so today. She didn't know why she preferred running over any other sport, it was just something that she liked, even if running was difficult at times. She continued on her way, ignoring the athletes and was more focused on recalling what she learned from last lecture, just in case the teacher decided to give a pop quiz.
