blindwooferEverything happened so quickly, and it was all so chaotic that Sylvia could barely keep up. At first there was disappointment and dread at the fact that the barrel didn't explode on contact. The goblin shaman was laughing at her! Then, Shortfang caused the explosion with...magic?!
Then there was pain in her back. It was from the goblin. Thankfully that didn't distract her from the fact that the ogre threw a javelin at her! Time seemed to slow down and she recalled Buddy's lesson. Before she even knew it, she had caught the javelin and redirected it at the goblin Pylia was fighting. When she realized what she did, her mouth opened in a gape and she couldn't help but laugh a bit, from the shock and from the amazement. She couldn't believe she actually did that!!!
She snapped out of that stupor when Pylia called her attention to the ogre. She answered "Right! But first things first!" She then directed a quarterstaff and a kick to the goblin next to her, so that he wouldn't get to strike her again.
