Sylvia sighed quietly at the mention of the loss of evidence in the Black Claw tribe. Of course the cultists would try to eliminate as much evidence as possible. After they suggested showing the evidence she found to the Greyscales, Sylvia answered, "Already showed them one piece of evidence after we took care of the Jabrani Tribe. We found a dead cultist's body and brought it back here, in hopes that you would be able to identify who that cultist was. Longstrider had her guards take the body for safekeeping. I haven't shown them the sword Venomfang was carrying yet though. I still have that with me, if you guys want to try and identify it,"

She blinked as Yorik limped over to her, despite the wound in his leg. She was surprised to hear that Yorik noticed that something was weighing on her mind. Was she transparent or was he that insightful? Either way, he was correct in that she had much on her mind. Before she could answer, Cera already came up and somewhat admonished Yorik for joking. She listened to their banter a bit and she had to admit that they did have a point. Was she really a civilian at this point anymore? She traveled and slew monsters, as well as taken the lives of the Iron Hammer Bandits. And now...she was participating in a war! A war! Like she was some super soldier!

She snapped out of her thoughts a bit when Yorik gave her a reassuring smile. She accepted the invitation, "Sure. Thank you, Yorik," She couldn't help but smile when she listened to a bit of Yorik's and Aisha's catty chat. After Cera asked, Sylvia answered her, "Thank you, Cera. I think it would do me some good to talk for a bit. But truth be told, there is a lot on my mind..."

She decided to start with an immediate issue that came to mind right before finding that Shor and his group were okay, "When my group and I came back from facing the Toxin Croak, I'll admit I was worried when I heard that nobody heard anything from you guys, and the scouts that were sent to find you didn't come back either. So, I am relieved to see that you guys are here. But right before coming here, I realized something..."

She took in a deep breath, and she continued "Someone once said that with great power comes great responsibility. Everyone, even my friends, seem to look to me as a leader to make the final decision as of late. When I heard that there was no news from you guys, I felt scared. I worried that I might have made the wrong decision and accidentally sent you guys to your deaths. Thankfully, that's not the case, but still...I guess I'm used to people looking at me and just dismissing me as just another person who doesn't know anything and turning to someone else for the decision. Now that people are looking to me, I'm doing my best for everyone. Even though so far everything has worked out well, I'm still scared that I might make one wrong decision and get a friend killed. Just one wrong decision would be all that it would take,"

She found that once she started talking, it was hard to stop herself from pouring out all of these feelings. And this was only what was on the surface...
Pele looked to him as he answered her question. She had covered her mouth and there was a look in her eyes that showed sadness. Was...she pitying him? That look quickly faded into one of pensive thought. She answered Reynault's question snapping out of her own thoughts, "Oh! Yeah. We'll be hiking the whole way. Sorry, I prefer walking to riding horses..."

She then mentioned, "If you get tired, I can always wildshape into a horse..." After thinking about her offer for a moment, she spoke up again clearly embarrassed, "No, wait a minute...on second thought, never mind. That's not a good idea,"
Sylvia felt herself let go of a breath she didn't realize she had been holding, as a quiet sigh of relief. Thank goodness! They were here and safe, albeit a little beat up. She smiles as Yorik waved her over. She couldn't help but chuckle a bit at the banter between Cera and Yorik. She answered him, "The Jabrani weren't too much trouble. They're no longer a threat. We also took care of the Toxin Croak, with Skinwalker and her group's help. We even found some evidence of the cult's involvement among those two tribes,"

She was relieved to hear that Shor was with the Greyscales. She answered Aisha, "We're okay. I'm glad to see that you guys are alright,"

She then asked "How did it go with the Black Claw tribe?"
The clam chowder was well made. The clam meat was perfectly cooked, and the potatoes were soft. The broth was creamy and had a good mix of seasonings. You also tasted some bacon in there as well as some celery and cilantro. After breakfast, Elaranna begins her investigation into Trina. She asks around discreetly, and most people give the same thing that the bronze dragonborn barkeep gave her. However, she does find a couple of friends who had...criminal friends, to say the least.

One was a halfling beggar girl, who informed her that her best friend, Calal had pickpocketed a couple of gold pieces from Trina. She caught him in the act, and she dragged him to her store. A few moments later, the girl saw the guards come to the store and take Calal away.

"I'm so worried. Calal has escaped from the prison before, but I haven't heard anything from him. And when I asked the guards about him, they acted as though they knew nothing of him..."

Elaranna would also find a tiefling shopkeeper and he talks about his twin brother who was a charlatan, who had a penchant for selling things that were worthless for a pretty gold.

"My brother sold some honey that was dyed green to Trina, and said that it was an Ancient Dragon's urine. He was bragging about it that night. I don't know what happened after we parted ways, but the next day, he wasn't at home, nor was he in the streets. I'm worried about him. It's not like him to just up and leave without his belongings,"
Nope. ^^" 'Fraid not.

Keiji has no idea what this thing is.
For my short rest, I'll use two of my hit dice to recover HP

You can roll either a Nature or an Arcana check.

Since both Keiji and Yuki were keeping their distance and stealthily following them, I would say they're 60 feet from the action.
As Albrecht got to work, so did Scrapmouse. She continued scrubbing as well, putting as much gusto as Albrecht was. With the both of them working together, they got the place cleaned in an hour. Of course, while they were scrubbing, the both of them could hear loud, boisterous, and upbeat music playing and cheering and awing in the streets of Kylliam. The Carnival had arrived and they were apparently parading through the town, performing as they looked for a place where they could set up their carnival. By the time the hour was done, the loud music had faded and everyone had gone back to their business.

After the both of them finished, Scrapmouse called back to Albrecht "GOT IT!"

Since everything had just calmed down, Albrecht would be able to see people go back to their own business. He would be able to find a colorful group of people start setting up the carnival in an empty lot in Kylliam.
Pele nodded and answered "Yes, the Firespeaker is the Headmaster of the Fire Ashari, just as much as the Voice of the Tempest is the Headmaster to the Air Ashari," She couldn't help smile at his comment about the Firespeaker being strong. She added, "Well, he did survive an attack from the Cinder King himself, so of course he's strong,"

When he asked about her siblings, Pele waved off the apology, "Oh, don't be. It's not a weird question," She then continued "I don't really have any siblings by blood...At least not that I'm aware of," She then continued, "I grew among the Fire Ashari, so I'd like to consider them my family, especially since my Mom is a Fire Ashari herself. However..." She grew silent before she could mention anything else. It was like something was bothering her.

But she seemed to shrug it off and she continued, "My dad, he's part of the Water Ashari as far as I know. I've never met him, but Mom has spoken a lot about him,"

She then asked, "How about you? Do you have siblings?"
There we go. Now the post is ready.
