Skye listened carefully to Abel speak and ramble a bit about Sherman. She raised an eyebrow at the mention of worse branches than the Caucus branch, and his ponder about why Sherman wasn't making his own gate. When he asked, Skye answered with a shrug "Not much really. All I know is what they're capable of, and that people form contracts with them," She really didn't care about what chains were in the past, she only knew to avoid dealing with chains. She asked, knowing that she was going to be dealing with these chains at this point, "What are chains anyways? And why do chains bother forming contracts with people anyways?"

Beatrey already started walking as Fin spoke, leading the way, following the river's currents. She remembered the rumors of bandits and she sighed, mumbling under her breath, "Of course. There just has to be bandits," As she walked she kept her senses keen and alert for any sign of anyone or anything hiding nearby. As she walked on, she asked Fin, "Do you have any questions in regard to this journey we're on?" She wanted to get any of his questions out of the way so that she wouldn't have to fill him in if they were in the middle of an emergency.

Erika answered David, "They could also be androids, or terminators,"
Joan pointed out, "Erika, we're not in a Terminator movie!" Erika chuckled at Joan's response, causing May to shake her head. When David spoke and explained his view on the situation, May grumbled under her breath, "This could still be some huge hoax or conspiracy,"
May then asked "So these weirdoes think I'm this supposed princess. What do they think they're going to get out of this person? My family isn't going to pay any ransom,"

Soon she pulled up to the apartment complex, and turned off the car's engine. She and her friends hopped out, and started walking up stairs towards May's apartment.

Joan yelped after David made his comment, "What?! You mean to say that they're robots?!"
Erika commented to Joan in deadpan, "We've got a guy who is claiming to be a knight...and you're panicking over robots..."
May answered David "I'm driving to the apartment now,"

When Abel asked his question in response, Skye paled a bit and asked "Wh-What?!" After he made his second statement, her jaw dropped slightly in disgust and she hissed quietly under her breath as she followed Abel, "Who would want to be YOUR lover?!"
Of course she understood his hint, and she didn't say anything on the way until they reached the room Abel had booked.

After Abel had finished securing the area, and had Madame his comment, Skye, who was still standing, crossed her arms, and started speaking seriously, "I have found the person you mentioned back on the carriage. A member of Pandora, named Sherman Holster, is going to meet with some people at the fountain in town square tonight. He mentioned some group called 'Tenebrae', and how someone would pleased by how everything is going,"

Beatrey looked towards Fin, mainly to check and make sure that the teleportation spell hadn't switched any of his body parts around (thankfully it wasn't the case), and she listened as he spoke. She raised an eyebrow at his apology and watched as he took out his sword, kneeled before her, and swore loyalty to her. She remembered Theo's knight had done the same for him, right of Beatrey's eyes when she was younger. And yet, Theo was killed by the same knight, and now she was on this pilgrimage. She crossed her arms and looked at Fin seriously, after he made final statement to show how serious he was about this, and answered almost ominously, "I hope for your sake that you don't break your promise,"

She then stated, "Alright. Let's go. We'll be traversing to the port town of Rainier. If we stay by the river, we should reach that destination by sundown,"

May watched as he fought until he said that they needed to go. Then, she and her friends hurried over to May's car, and she called to David, "Get in here then! Hurry!"
She stuck the key into the ignition and got the car ready to go.

May and her friends backed away when one of the men repeated what they before she answered them. She watched as the stranger got in front of her and bantered with the two scary people in front of him before a full out fight started. What was especially unnerving was the mention of Scarro and having her power.
She stayed back and she could only watch as the fight continued. May noticed electricity and metal and came to the conclusion that one of the men was using a taser, and she called to David, "Don't let that taser hit you! Watch out!".

May was getting irritated at how this stranger kept on persisting, trying to get her trust, and say weird things. Before she could even start asking questions, she saw a black limo pull up behind the stranger and then two men who looked like they were dressing up as characters from The Matrix movie, with gold rings as the exception, step out of said limo.. She immediately gained a bad feeling from these guys, and she tensed. After they spoke, she retorted, "I have nothing to say about my family. Unless you're with the government, I'm not going anywhere with you!"
