Would the synthesizer require its materials be of a certain size or can you stick a giant chunk of rebar into it for bullets and does it also make the magazine? Also, do you need to place it down like the mantel or is it something that runs in the background as the user is doing stuff?

All in all, you're stuff is looking good though, can't wait to see you on the station.

For the synthesizer, how ever you would rather have it works. I'd suggest it needs to be deployed (like the mantlet) it doesn't make the magazines which would need to be refilled, and the size probably wouldn't be relevant since he can cut pieces down to size if they don't fit.

@ClocktowerEchos Well the synthesizer could make ammunition out of materials found aboard the station, preferably of quality composition while still being possible to make lower quality materials into lower quality ammunition. Also, I don't mind someone else having nanomachines, I'm sure in a galactic senate there are plenty of races that do. The mantlet is folded up and attached to the back of the engineer's exosuit, it's made of the same stuff as the power armor (albeit thinner) and once its unfolded it can cover, generously, three people; it's mainly to protect the engineer or medic as they work.

Also, all of the stuff they have is designed for bullets, I understand that whatever you have planned isn't going to be stumped by thick armor but if the Vatani really didn't know that they wouldn't be deployed wearing paper bags. And do you want me to go into more detail on their training and personal capabilities?

Origins: The Theocratic Ascendancy of Vatan

Culture/Traditions: The Vatani are isolationists, so they are not particularly dynamic in their methods, but they are also zealots who are willing to lay down their lives in the name of their Gods, called Perëndi, (who just so happen to be their politicians). They (the Zotëria) also have a limited knowledge of technology and equipment maintenance.

Specialization: Zotëria are Vatani military's elite infantry, and the ones escorting Perëndi Zellshëm are the only Vatani troops at the "disposal" of the Galactic Senate.

Rank/Position/Title: Perëndi, one of the over five hundred "Gods" who make up the Vatani government.

• Qiellor "Divinity" Armor: It is tapped into his vitals and can deploy nanobots for healing, or violently self-destruct in the case of his death.
• Particle Lance: A mobile particle beam weapon.

Personality: Imperious, supremely confident, and shrewd.
Bio: According to Vatani scripture, Zellshëm was one of the Kryesor who stood at the right hand of the Perendor during the War of Ascendancy, the culmination of which led to the apotheosis of his closest staff. The divinity of the Perëndi has been sufficiently "demonstrated" to persuade the Vatani people, but most of the galaxy recognizes them for what they are, which has fueled their isolationism. Zellshëm has a position on the Senate solely for the purpose of keeping them away from his world, and is known to recuse himself from most senate decisions unless they give him an opportunity for excitement.

Background: "I am a traveler, a rare thing among my people. I spent my first decades as a kovac, a weapon smith, spilling my blood night and day to arm the warriors of the Kryesor and to line his coffers. I grew weary of that burden, and forsook my place of honor to travel the surface. I discovered the value of my might to human lords, and sold them the strength of my arm. Perhaps I exchanged one cage for another? If that's so, then I prefer this cage. Its only bars are the sky, and they are well beyond my reach.

The girl had good instincts. Even though Mazen bore her no ill will, her nervousness revealed that she felt something amiss in the little village. He suppressed a memory of his younger sister as he followed her towards the heart of the settlement, wondering exactly what he would say once he confronted her. It had been so long since he’d encountered another creature of myth that he had begun to wonder if the humans had been more successful in their efforts to exterminate his world than he’d thought. Of course, it could be that she was one of the deluded souls who had sacrificed their minds to play at being a human. That would be a shame.

Once she stopped at the water fountain, he halted in the shadow of a building facing the square. His dark skin and leather attire allowed him to merge with the aged wood of the house, but after she spoke he let out a whistling sigh and stepped into the light, his hands clearly empty. In a raspy voice, he answered her question.

“A Child of the Earth,” he stopped, still reasonably away from her in the deserted village square. “And what, may I ask, is a Child of the Sea doing selling oysters to these humans?”
