Alright, double post but this is a very important question to my character:

What are the religious views of the general populace? What gods do they believe in, or is than an agnostic society? Can the gods in this RP be proven to exist (as in some video games, movies, etc. where gods literally appear on the earth before people) or do people see reason to doubt their existence? Furthermore, do elves, humans, and dwarves -or any other sentient races- believe in separate gods, or do they all follow the same belief-system?

I have a fictitious belief system I like that I would enjoy allowing my character to use, but first I want to know what the usual religion in this world is.
