Current My Italian friend just asked me if it's true that all Americans are fat. I'm offended but I can't stop laughing.

I always respond to OOC tags within 10 minutes, but I respond to PMs within 10 days. I don't know why- I suppose it's just because PMs are so easy to brush aside and forget about

I don't have any finals, but everyone else having finals is slowing down my RPs. Second-hand busyness.

I know it's time to go to bed, because I just started wondering if maybe the whole universe is a single cell on some alien's ass

If a tree falls in the woods and Fox news isn't around to see it, is it still Obama's fault?

Oh well, lets just cross out fingers while I try to get science hammered into the world... Hmmm Minerals, would need Undasis help along with Ferghus if I used the atmosphere. I can't throw iron into the core of the planet due to not being any iron being on the planet, so no magnetic field for the planet either. Idk what to do o.o

(Edit: Oh hey Ferghus make the Magnetic Field for the planet with your divine fire powers while your in your room! xD)

Woman of the Waters and Kraken (to a lesser extent, of course) would both be willing to help with making a fully created world.

So if you need Mineral help, just contact your local sea-beast and be careful of the tentacles. :)
Hey, ummmm Svieand just tilted a planet full of water and a continent on it, Im not sure but wouldn't that cause a freaken big tsunami >.>?

If it was not done carefully. It would cause a MASSIVE tsunami, yes, but I made the assumption that Svieand was using his godly powers to keep it all safe.

If not, Kraken is about to be very happy.
Hmm, writing my post up know. Feel that 'Galba' is lacking something. An 'r' to be specific. Going for 'Galbar'. If there are any objections, the floor is open for your objections.

No objections, that sounds like a usual fantasy/sci-fi name

----

How long are the days on this planet? Does it take 24 hours to rotate (like Earth), or is it more alien than that?

How long are years in Galbar? 365 days, like Earth, or are they longer (like how Mars has 687-day years)? Maybe shorter?

I'm just asking for future reference, really
The first randomly generated name was Zingaching. I think that's a tad inappropriate.
The second was Galba.

Welcome to planet Galba

Horaay! We have a name!

That sounds decent.
Well, but what about the rest of us who don't like Mundi as a name? I just think these names aren't particularly striking. It probably has to do with my native language being Spanish. Latin words resemble Spanish words too closely for my comfort

How about we just name it Planet and call it a day?

As I mentioned, it's I was only attempting to keep things easily understandable through a list. The voting wasn't even my idea.
I just wanted it all organized.

Any name is good, really, but I do have a passion for Latin. So I'm afraid you'll have to forgive me for being a bit bias ;)
Can we not just let Kho do a random planet name generator and get back to us on that? I really dislike the idea of voting in any kind of situation, it creates tension.

Well, Mundi has the most votes: so I think it may be easier just to declare that. We just need Kho to agree or something.

I don't care much, so long as the world has some name. I was just attempting to keep it organized so that we would have a chart-type-thing to keep track of how many votes everything has.

I made a few mistakes on the last one, updated:

1 vote Novus
3 votes Mundi
1 vote Slate
1 vote Lugus
2 votes Mundas
0 votes Vestecia :)
0 votes Undasisa :D
0 votes for anything Kho said

If I made any mistakes, let me know. It can be hard to keep track of all this because people have a naturally disordered, frantic way of speaking. Spock would not approve.
----

Counting secondary votes, it's something like this:

3 votes Novus
3 votes Mundi
2 votes Slate
1 vote Lugus
3 votes Mundas

This is even more difficult to keep track of (should secondaries count as half a vote, or a vote only if the subject of the primary vote has more than the subject of the secondary vote, or a full vote regardless?), so just deal with it.
Oh, new votes:

Thus:
1 vote Novus
3 votes Mundi
1 vote Slate
1 vote Lugus
1 votes Mundas
0 votes Vestecia :)
0 votes Undasisa :D
1 vote Khow D:

I'm not counting Rtron's vote for Mundas, because he said that was only a secondary vote (f Novus didn't work out). I'm only counting primary votes in this.

----

Counting secondary votes, it's something like this:

3 votes Novus
3 votes Mundi
2 votes Slate
1 vote Lugu
0 all else

But I feel strongly that secondary votes makes it confusing, so we should only consider the above primary votes.
@Kho
Speaking of our world, how long is a year in this new planet? If this is like Earth, it should take roughly 365 days for Mundi to orbit around the sun.

Also, I believe Mr.Kho mentioned that the world orbits, but at what rate does it do so? Is a single day 24 hours (as with reality), or is it something more extreme? I would prefer it to be like earth in this regard, but it's up to our GM and, of course, popular opinion.
I don't need to know these for anything I'm doing now, but I would like to know for future reference. Plus I'm bored.

Forgive me if you mentioned these and I missed it. I know you said that rotation is "pre-installed", but I would prefer to know the details of this pre-installation. Because I'm a detailed geek like that.
Alright, I thought about it a little and I'm changing my vote to Mundi.

Thus:
1 vote Novus
3 votes Mundi
1 vote Slate
1 vote Lugus
0 votes Mundas
0 votes Vestecia :)
0 votes Undasisa :D

But I assume we'll need @Kho to finalize this vote.
