Hey, I know you're probably pretty busy, but I just wanted to make sure you saw my character application, if you didn't, It's back on page six.

It's totally cool guys, I definitely understand being confused.
Few things first, this roleplay fits in a lot better under the "free" section, which basically means that the size of your posts are up to your own discretion. In the casual section, each post needs to have at least one well-formed paragraph, and post speed is drastically limited compared to free, normally us in casual prefer to wait until 3-4 others have posted before making another post. The Advanced section is a bit intimidating, as posts there are preferred to be 6+ paragraphs per post.
Another thing, the FIRST OC post for any thread is the RP's Introduction, this is where you explain the Plot, Setting, Timeframe, Character Skeleton etc. After a character is written up, it has to be posted to the OC for approval, once approved they're moved to the Character section.
While this isn't technically a rule, it is a basis that everyone on this website operates from; Roleplays here are primarily character driven, while the GM does have control over the over-arching plot, we GMs don't lead the rp the way @Patient 43Delta has been doing. I've seen that you'll post events in the IC.
For example:

Off in the distance, X heard a scream, a human scream. Followed by the scream of A feral and a few gun shots. It came from down the street towards the old market.

This style of directing the RP is incredibly uncommon, and will actually scare a lot of RPers away from participating. The GM's have to be much subtler about leading their RPs, and can't directly state random events affecting characters. Instead, the characters will have to create what is happening around them, Instead of being told so by the GM.

~Personality~

Nihiri is, most simply put, an Oxymoron.
Despite being Existentially Nihilistic, Nihiri is quite positive, and carries a mentality and philosophy that he isn't quite capable of placing into words. He believes existence to be insignificant, but not without personal value. His personal ideology is formed by his life-long depression combined with his refusal to give in to aforementioned Illness. It's product being a humble, content personality. He is rarely aggravated due to his immense sympathy of other's perspective, and often provides encouragement in a method much different from others. Aside from his strange perspective, he is deeply loyal to people he develops relationships with, and often crosses his own moral boundaries for their sake. He strives continuously to be supportive of those around him, and his ability to offer constructive criticism has lead him to become a social Father Figure, capable of giving advice and guidance without hostility to those who ignore it. Most simply, he is a man of enormous understanding and patience, forever determined to be a pillar of support.

~History~

Nihiri was born by a single mother in a small farming Town, one with less than two hundred inhabitants that believed strongly in creating a unified community. Every face was familiar and friendly, but none more so than that of his grandfather. His grandfather had been drafted into a Naval Battle at 19, and was Employed as a Mechanic during his first tour, and a chef during his second. With the skills he acquired during his service, he became a Pillar of his community, happy to lend a helping hand without needing to be asked. Nihiri showed little interest in Mechanics, so his grandfather passed his amazing culinary skills to him, and he excelled. At the age of 10, he was regarded as one of the best cooks in Japan, albeit only by his fellow villagers. His Grandfather was the only Father he ever knew, and he was devastated when he learned his mother had decided to move to a larger city, hours away.
The drastic change in Nihiri's life paved the way for his depression to grow, and at the age of Twelve he had become so deeply influenced that he began to see therapists, none of whom could help an angry child that refused to acknowledge his emotions. His Mother soon stopped the appointments, as she couldn't afford a service Nihiri refused, and soon became so busy with work that Nihiri rarely saw her for more than a few hours a week. The isolation only furthered the progress of his Depression, and he began to eat less and less, becoming very pale and sickly. After two years, his depression took a drastically aggressive turn, and he began to self-harm to bring relief to the turmoil he felt. At the age of 14, and after three prior hospitalizations, he attempted a suicide that was so drastic it nearly killed him, and had he not been flown to a much larger hospital, it would have been lethal. Due to the severity of his attempt, he was admitted to a long term-facility that he would have remained in for two years, had his Grandfather not appeared to assist with his recovery. With the Help and Encouragement of his Grandfather, Nihiri was treated and kept for observation for less than a month, and completely reversed his Illness.
After a year, things returned to normal, and Nihiri began to develop an affinity for supporting and helping people of all walks of life, regardless of their influence on him. Having finally achieved a comfort in his past, he began to wear his arms openly, no longer ashamed of the large vertical scars up his arms. Soon after, he began to have episodes in which he would feel a hot, excruciating pain on the length of the scar. He saw multiple Doctors to try and assess the cause, each as confused as the last, until in an urge of desperation, he visited an acclaimed witch doctor on his own, without his mother or family knowing. The Witch Doctor knew what was happening to him the moment she touched his scars, and told him to focus on the pain exclusively, to silence everything surrounding him until he was one with the pain. When he did so, his scars turned a dark black that spread across his forearms and up onto his hands, forming long, sharp claws over his fingers. He watched in horror as it spread past his elbows, covering the entirety of his arms in dark, obsidian like metal, with an electric blue pulsating from the spaces between. By the age of 17, he had learned how to summon forth his magic, and how to dispel it, but believed he had yet to achieve even a tenth of the power it granted him.

~Skills~

Nihiri's perspective and experience has granted him an understanding of how to de-escalate hostile situations. He also has retained and grown in his Culinary Expertise, and has become capable of creating incredible meals.

~Abilities~

~Demon Arms: (Inspiration/Visual Aid) When he summons his arms, he is granted an extreme increase in his Stamina, Strength, and Speed. The magic used for his arms is much like a Muscle, over-usage tires him exponentially, but the more he uses them, the stronger his magic becomes.~

While I don't feel this really should have to be pointed out, I would request that this thread be moved to the "Free" roleplay section, as it doesn't fit well under the definition of "Casual" threads. It's important that Users adhere to the guidelines set by the Guild, one very important guideline being the separation of roleplays by quality.

I can see that you are all a bit unfamiliar with the format and Culture of the Role Player Guild, and I would be more than happy to try and assist you in understanding some of the "unwritten" rules of our Guild. I do want to point out that by no means am I intending to be rude or hostile, quite the contrary actually. I've been using this website for several years now, and I remember how lost and confused I was regarding it's format and use.

Maybe, it kinda depends on what you think of him. I think it'd be possible, due to the fact that he will still be a flirty, cocky little shit, who definitely wouldn't avoid poking fun at Leshas. In all honesty, I think it'd promote a much healthier Kismessitude. Fortid isn't nearly as dangerous or controlling/violent with these changes.

Your name is Fortid Ischyr, and there is nothing that makes you happier than the cool ocean breeze on your face.

You are currently on your 9th sweep, and you LOVE pop punk music, although a lot of your friends think you're a nerd for it. You have a few other INTERESTS, including RUNNING FAST AS FUCK, PARKOURING, and being the most OPTIMISTIC NIHILIST ever, which can confuse your friends from time to time, and overall you're mostly just a speed demon. You love to run, it's one of your favorite things ever and you've gotten really good at it. You like to test yourself by timing yourself while you scale cliff-sides, using your trusty Karambits as Picks to keep yourself from falling.

Bio: After you were Chosen by your Lusus, ScorpianDad, you two agreed to build your Hive on the Beach. Your Lusus wanted the Sand, and you wanted room to run, so that location was the best for you both. Your hive was built into the face of an Enormous cliff, and consists of several floors, each having only one room. ScorpianDad's dwelling a cave below the sand, and your's a loft hundreds of feet above. Thanks to the amount of space between you two, your relationship is good since you both need your space. Since a Pupa, you've loved heights and the adrenalin you get sprinting and climbing, this interest eventually became competitive, and you began to enter Cliff-Climbing competitions. For the most part you were able to steal an easy win without any combat, but thanks to your specibus you have become very good at close-range strifing.
