Character Appearance; How do you do it?

These days I tend to jot down a paragraph or so with a general description and a few defining features, but I leave a lot up to the reader's imagination.

In the past, I often used a combination of a picture with a written description. Pictures were usually succintly stolen from deviantART with no credit given. I'm using it in an illustrative, non-profit environment, so they really have no right to complain.

The episodes were leaked in bad quality anyway (480p -- what is this, 2008?) and disfigured by a watermark. I'll wait for them to air normally.

Got asked on a date at work today.

That has less to do with my social life than you think. I can't speak for the rest of the world, but in the city where I live, concerts, raves, parties, expo's, etc. are often promoted through Facebook's event system. It's a very useful way to keep track of my cultural interests.
