Quick everyone, PM Mahz with your wishlist for Guild updates and new features. The more the better. In fact, send him a PM about it every day. Make that every hour. Chop chop!

To all the homies in Florida -- stay safe out there. Now is not the time to wrangle an alligator and surf it down the flooded streets. I know, it's hard to resist the urge.

Bio

On the old version of the Guild I was the record holder for 'Most Infraction Points Without Being Permabanned'.

My primary roleplaying genres are fantasy and science fiction. Big fan of The Elder Scrolls, The Lord of the Rings, Warhammer 40,000, Mass Effect, Fallout and others.

I'm a sucker for in-depth RP's and this looks mighty interesting, however I'm a complete WH40K noob (only played the Dawn of War games + casual reading of random articles on the Lexicanum). Think I'll manage to fit or does this require too much knowledge of the setting to successfully pull off? Really, my biggest problem is that I find it hard to get into the head of characters serving the Imperium; like, how does religion/fanaticism factor into their day to day lives, what's considered to be stepping over the line in terms of morality, that sorta stuff.

Imperial citizens are absolutely and utterly indoctrinated by the Imperial Cult, the unshakable faith that the God-Emperor watches over all. This is of course heavily abused by everyone in charge to convince the billions upon billions of masses to slave away in the name of progress and safety. Most citizens are heavily superstitious and xenophobic but generally unaware of the exact nature of the forces arrayed against them. Chaos, especially, is all hushed up and hidden from the general citizenry.

Arbites are the ones to ensure all of that nonsense happens without too much crime. They're tough and unforgiving bastards who err on the side of summary execution. Only important officials have a right to a trial. That's the general mindset. It's all for the good of the Imperium and the glory of the Emperor, not for the people.
Oh damn it >.>'! With so many Dunmer's in the group, I got Elmera and Niernen confused.

@Hank Snowflake status restored eh?

Why not? Go for it. Seems like a fun community project that doesn't require a moderator.

European.

Thank you.
What's fruit?
This is truly a historical moment. Numerous stars have aligned in the sky so that we may be graced with such a fine, rare treat: idle chatter.

Shut up, Marvin.

Your snowflake status has been revoked! ;D

EDIT: Sure, we'll make a plot arc out of Niernen succumbing to evil Daedric worship and an absolutely haram addiction to purchasing Akaviri katanas.
Wait, Niernen isn't the only Dunmer female sorcerer with an eye colour that differs from the standard crimson?

Damn.
Since everyone else is also taking their time and not rushing their character sheets, I'm going to use that as an excuse to delay finishing my own sheet for another day. I just got internet back home and I have a few weeks of online gaming withdrawal to satisfy.
Why do you insist on seeking equipment from outside of the Armoury? Ripper pistols are Death World weapons, they have no place in this RP.

Being a latent psyker is perfectly acceptable for the Investigator role.
