Important personal announcement. Sometime soon in the next few months I'm being called back into the service. If I fall off the face of the planet, this is the reason why. I'll try and keep in contact with you all.

For me, if I ever inquisitively went 'sir?' to my Drill Instructors the response was typically 'Bitch?'. Followed by an ass-beating of some sort.

Well, I wouldn't know about the 'Drill Sergeant' thing or not. In the Marine Corps we have Drill Instructors and I never had any intention of becoming one. It was just a running joke amongst the enlisted ranks that we did all the hard-labor and shit work, while the officers would just issue orders and sit at their desks doing paperwork. xD

Now, that's not always true. But it certainly always seemed to be the case.

Paul intends on cashing his kills in as soon as possible to acquire goods and get settled before exploring. If anything, he'd probably pay a quick visit to each shop in town first as far as exploration is concerned.
