Id be down!
Just had a fun thought. If she was a murderer it'd be funny if Haydrian brought back someone she killed and they meet face to face. I think she'd lose her mind.

That'd be fricken hilarious. I feel like Haydrians magic is going to freak her out in general though. I mean the walking dead is one thing, but I imagine that watching him sculpt solid metal like it was clay, or animate a statue wouldn't sit to well with her either. Plus Haydrian talks to ghosts. I'm just picturing someone she screwed over passing away not to long afterwards, haunting her out of spite, and being all to happy to relate his tale of woe to Haydrian.
@silvermist1116
Man Kai is like MEGA paranoid, she's gotta have ulcers and crap at this point! I really like how your writing her, her reaction to what's going on feels pretty natural for her, though honestly I'm surprised she didn't come in with a pistol drawn on Gavin. She's ferocious!
Haydrian looked up and saw a very disheveled blonde man walking towards him. Another homeless in Brightwell? What on earth? On top of that he appeared to be Australian based off of his accent. Normally the wink would have connoted some very strange things to Haydrian, but homeless and Australian meant that normal social cues likely didn't apply to this man. Haydrian raised an eyebrow at him. Going the same place... this was either the clumsiest attempt at hitchhiking he'd ever seen, or this man was also on his way to meet Gavin. The latter would explain why he was in Brightwell at least... oh. Was that perhaps why the young girl was here as well? Fascinating.
Haydrian put on a small smile, "Well if you mean your going to see a fellow named Gavin then yes we are certainly headed the same way. As for a ride, if you don't mind it being a little cramped then you can sit in the middle with Bob." Haydrian's smile widened. He hadn't shown Bob to anyone yet, and he was quite proud of him. He hoped this man had an appreciation for art.
Haydrian ended his call with Dennis, and texted Harry in the other Sedan to come pick him up. He slipped the phone back in his jeans pocket, stood up and stretched. Finally! Some good news! This Gavin didn't seem to be a complete fraud after all! Though to hear Dennis describe him he sounded a wee bit serious. Haydrian shrugged to himself, he'd deal with that when he met him. He actually felt a bit excited! The way Gavin talked, the things he knew, and the fact that he was a mage all pointed to this "save the world" shtick of his actually bearing some weight. If that was true then his plans back home could wait. It sounded like there just might be a more immediate threat to the world just around the corner. Haydrian smiled as the red Sedan pulled back into the parking lot. The day was turning out better than he'd expected.
Dennis continued to stare at the spot where Gavin's head had been. Huh. So that's how it was. He grit his teeth in frustration and embarrassment. He heard the tone in Gavin's voice. He [i]knew[i], he already knew what Dennis was. He'd just brushed him off like... like he was nothing. He turned to look over his shoulder at Gavin and saw his little light show. He bit back the anger welling up inside of him. He didn't have time for this. He put on the coldest face he could manage and walked to the edge of the room finding a secluded corner to make a call from. Gavin wanted Haydrian? Fine he could have him. He cast one last foul glance in Gavin's direction. Self righteous jerk, going on about saving the world and angels, flaunting his power like an arrogant fool. What did he know? What gave him the right to look down on Dennis? As he listened to his phone ringing, waiting for Haydrian to pick up, Dennis felt his heart fall a little, his posture slumping with it. Who was he kidding? Even Dennis looked down on Dennis now.
@Stitches @Bazmund First of all, yes. Haydrian is definitely a bit verbose and creepy. Glad that's comin across just fine :) I mean the guys preferred company is a corpse after all, so I mean. In his defense, he was genuinely trying to be nice to the girl. His version of charisma and manipulation doesn't work on every person and in every situation especially considering his actual character, so this feels comfortable for him.

Second while it's true I wrote him to be slightly weird and creepy and I agree with you over all, I actually disagree with whether or not people would be willing to bargain for money. I've talked to plenty of homeless that are more than willing to tell you their story over lunch. Whether they'd accept the deal from Haydrian, well that's a different story.

Haydrian watched the strange young girl walk off. He shrugged, and went back to looking at the sky. Her loss. He swore he would never understand it in a hundred years, but this wasn't that strange of a situation to him. People often found his persona... off putting. When he was much younger it had made him sad occasionally, especially since he couldn't understand what it was about him that bothered others. Most children went through phases when they wondered if there was something wrong with them, and Haydrian was no different so he felt no shame in this past. But all of those memories were from back when he thought the actions of humans were dictated by unbiased logic. He'd since learned that logic and reason were alien to humans more often then not, forget unbiased. So today such things didn't even phase him, after all why should he let the judgement of a flawed creature affect his emotions? He was perfectly aware of his many flaws, and he was also aware that things others perceived to be flaws he saw as strength and kindness. He grinned and chuckled. What humor life was full of. She'd obviously been looking for a handout at first, likely following one of her strange vibes. Had she accepted his offer he would have left her with enough money to go anywhere in the world she wanted, showers and food included, no strings attached, and he never would have thought of her again. Now she would be left in the same situation she'd been in, and he still wasn't likely to think of her ever again. And she'd missed out all because of feelings and vibes. If that wasn't irony then Haydrian didn't know what was.

He looked at his phone to double check the time. Yep. Five past three. as he was looking at the time his phone began to vibrate. It was Dennis. Haydrian breathed a sigh of relief. Good news he hoped.
@Haydrian Cindel Yep! People are competing for 3 spots. We have about 4 people interested.

Awesome! I'm going to do a little research and get started on my character sheet.
Any room left? I'd be down.
