Ian nodded to the man and headed off to the Pokemart. At the very least he would probably need to grab some food for his Sneasel when it hatched. All of the guidebooks recommended feeding it almost immediately. Checking his balance, he noted that he only had about 750P to spend on supplies. Sighing at the meager amount of money he entered the store. At this point the egg was moving so often it seemed to shift his bag slightly from time to time, to an outsider it may have looked like there was a Pokemon trapped inside of it. If you're going to hatch, just do it. Ian thought to himself. It was slightly frustrating to have it be so close and yet still remain unhatched.
Ian walked around the store trying to keep himself on a budget. He found a few apples and some cheap snacks that would work well enough for a little while. While he did grab his snacks, he spent most of the money on Pokemon food. The potions that he was given upon registering would certainly do nicely, those would almost definitely last until he got to another town...past that? Eh, he'd just have to figure it out when he got there.
"Will this be all for you sir?" The clerk asked nicely. Ian looked at the items he had purchased and then back up at the clerk. "Yes." He said plainly. The clerk eyed him slightly, of course Ian likely came off as rude with such a short answer, but he didn't see the point in wasting breath on small talk. As he placed all of his items in his backpack and carefully put the straps back on his shoulders the egg seemed to come alive for a moment. It shook pretty violently at first and then simply stopped. Ian quickly took the backpack back off and checked inside. Everything seemed untouched, the egg included. He scowled for a moment and then sighed. "Nothing."
Robert is 5'10 and around a 160 pounds. He is almost never seen without his hooded grey jacket that he uses to block out light when sleeping in class.
Personality: To call Robert lazy would be an insult to lazy people everywhere. Despite sleeping pretty constantly, he seems to always be tired. He's pretty friendly, even if someone were to wake him up he'd put on a smile and at least make an attempt at staying conscious...perhaps not very successfully. Despite his demeanor, he is no idiot. He has often angered teachers and students alike by being able to answer their questions immediately after waking.
Bio: Robert has always been mocked by others for having no motivation. Being held back one year of Primary school due to a teacher grading students on their attentiveness, though he didn't seem to mind much. Being a year older than others in his grade would have normally led to at least some teasing, but many students seemed to have some kind of innate fear of him. Rumors spread that he was always so tired because he was doing terrible things at night. This of course wasn't true, but kids have a way with imaginations. It wasn't until early Highschool that people started warming up to him, some of them asking for help on assignments when they could keep him awake. His invitation to Hope's Peak was a surprise to say the least, but with plenty of coaxing from his family he accepted.
Specialty: Super Duper Highschool Sleeper Other: Even though he seems to be able to sleep through anything, he can usually rouse himself enough pull to stay conscious if it's important.
