And back I am. Exhausted, certainly, and may need a while for that to wear off, but I'm once more here to read and even write!

Should have been writing posts. Took part in D&D shenaniganry instead. Got to fix that tomorrow.

There's a lot of backlog here on my end. I'm trying my best to lessen it, but replies might be less frequent for a time. A welcome change from the nothing doing I went through though! Thanks partners!

Bio

I suppose it is about time for me to copypaste fill in some information about myself over here just as well. Only took me a few years to getting around to do it.

I am a married individual in my twenties from the country some people dare claim does not exist. The Finland conspiracy is an old joke, you can stop with it now. Not a native speaker of the English language by any means, though I did begin studying it exceptionally early for our country's standards. I suppose it was some sort of a test case. With that out of the way though, what more should I be saying here...
  • I like being nice to people. If one needs to ask why, well that alone is reason enough.
  • I play and Dungeon Master Dungeons and Dragons, both offline and in the past also over here.
  • I enjoy OOC chatter, be it planning the RP or a more casual exchange (not that RP'ing is that serious). I can make do without, but don't be afraid to talk to me.
  • Whatever the case, I'm here to have fun and hone my writing abilities!
I do think that should about cover it, yes.

Thanks for stopping by I suppose! I do also have a Discord account, but I prefer to start anything RP related on the site. At least with people I don't know from the past, that is! But hey, now if you are a longer time contact of mine and happened to read this, now you know and can ask!

You attack is successful in cutting down a foe @The Harbinger of Ferocity. You are able to have one sling wielding kobold at best, though then you would also get one of the winged sort next to you for the other target you desired. Would this be acceptable?

Either way, next up would be @Ryonara with Parum.
The attack had begun, and already one of their kin was taken down. The kobolds screamed their battle cries to the air, those well versed in draconic would quickly understand these yells to be nothing but gibberish, much like how a cornered human would release a similar cry for power hidden within them. Two leapt at the druid's animal form with daggers, using the simultaneous nature of these attacks to their advantage. Both of the blades cut through the hide of the tiger, blood belonging to the wild shape gushing out of the wounds while a rain of small pebbles added insult to injury. One may have flown too low, deflecting to the underbelly of the beast with little to no force remaining after hitting a bump in the floor of the cavern, but the other two came in with force, pummelling away at the flesh of the assailant that had taken point before the raging green man. And torn asunder one of their own to boot.

@Zverda No need. I'll be just asking them from the bot directly.

For the record, all attacks will be aimed against the most immediate threat in the space, that being Torus. The first two will be dagger strikes, whereas the rest will be sling attacks.
I'll be providing an update tomorrow.

As a side note, it's going to include a hefty amount of rolls with advantage thanks to the Pack Tactics feature of these creatures. Guild dice are not exactly advantage friendly. Would anyone be opposed to me rolling them with a dice roller bot and linking a screenshot of the event instead of ten separate attack rolls? It certainly isn't as tamper proof, but it is a fair deal more convenient for yours truly.
That streak of luck means you do both indeed make the save! Natural twenties don't really have an effect on saves, but you are welcome to put some flair to the description once the time comes @Ryonara. For @Zverda, that time is now! Halved damage for both either way.
Enemies had shown themselves now. The saviours of Greenest were not going to cut the raiders any slack and rushed after them, into the descending stairs leading West. Orchid, filled with ambition for destruction, had darted off a good ten feet before anyone else, followed immediately by the clanking steps of the group paladin and those little lighter belonging to the cleric just after. It was only when a snapping sound sprang forth from under Kyra's foot that consideration for the reason of cowardice was brought up again in the minds of the adventurers. Intentionally weakened supports in the ceiling broke and gave way to a rain of stone, rocks falling upon the short bard and, by extension, the more sizeable tiger following after her. It was left to the quick reflexes of an adventurer to not be harshly bludgeoned by the gravity powered trap, but at least it was obviously kobold make. The size of the stones would make them not quite so lethal as to call everyone caught in them dead.

The commotion of them rumbling down would be heard deep down in the tunnels, so now all would know something was going on here. All the more reason to keep up the speed, to not let the enemy regroup. The descent ended into a space divided between left and right, more stairs to the left while there was a room with flickering light to the right. And from the room in said direction they could hear the kobolds that they had chased all the way here. Orchid turned the corner, and could immediately see that this once natural cavern had been enlarged to house a larger force, of which a fair amount was present even now. Five kobolds were on the ground in the process of spreading their wings, four less winged ones preparing for a fight in this dead end of a chamber. Fifth kneeled aside sixth, obviously the one that Kyra had shot, making attempts at staunching the flow of blood with anything they could get their hands on. Currently, the tool of choice was a long and thick strap of leather it had stuck a piece of a torn tunic to.

As the berserker roared his triumphant battle cry, the rest of the group began to finally catch up to him. The barracks filled with straw mattresses and haphazardly cured leather covers was looking to be the final resting place to a good number of kobolds on this day. Here, with the stone ceiling hanging low, even wings were not an ascertained escape. But even the cowards weren't expected to go down without a fight. With the roar of a tiger joining that of the berserker, its eyes glimmering in the flickering light, the battle was at hand.

Post delayed (again). Should be able to write it tomorrow.
I suppose that's enough to form a rudimentary marching order. I'll be looking to move things onward tomorrow night.
Do you have any particular marching order in which you are moving on to the next room, or shall I assume a conga line sorted by of initiative score to be the manner?
Out of initiative order as things stand. I believe you chose to abandon it a while ago, though I had forgotten to wipe it from the appropriate tab. The strategy of rushing over to the next room would likely call for a new round of initiative, however.
