Nothing ever ends poetically. It ends and we turn it into poetry. All of that blood was never once beautiful. It was just red.

The only black character I know of is Cal's guardian Landon.

Maki's boyfriend, Xavier, is black, I believe? (Right?)

How should I know? Maybe it's because I mentioned that he's poor, and you think every poor person has to be black? Fuck man, I don't know your life.

So.
I have the stomach flu. Pretty bad, too. So don't expect a post from me till Friday. Sorry lads. <3

I'm 6'2, and yet I swear 80% of males I know are taller than me.

Young Avengers seems awkward with the line-up we have so far, but hey, I'm sure you guys will make it work.

I think it'll be fine.

If Hillan can have Scott, can i have Knives? That would make for some funny roleplay.

I'd prefer not, sorry pal. Don't want any connections between Scott and his life in Canada.

I would really appreciate it if there was an intro post for YA, so I wouldn't have to have Scott punch another god in the face.

Name:
Scott Pilgrim

Codename:
N/A

Age:
19

Role:
Young Avenger

Appearance:
Scott stands at 181 CM and 76 KG. He's lean, but very fit. His hair is in a messy, short cut and in a light brown color. His eyes are also brown.
He wears jeans, converse and T-shirts. Either with a band-name or a comic book / hero-merchandise.

Personality:
Scott is sweet, a little bit awkward, but in the end a truly brave guy. He doesn't fear physical danger, he does however fear social confrontation. He's not the guy you're gonna see picking an argument. Unless it's over a video-game, he'll always insist that Sonic is better than Mario, there's no convincing him of otherwise. His attention span is absolute garbage.

Abilities:
Superhuman features:
Scott's body's more powerful than your average person. He's super-fast, strong, durable and agile. Not enough to compete with a kryptonian, but more than enough to give most things a pretty good run for their money.

Video-Game Logic:
Scott only refers to it as such, what it truly is is a magical spell cast on him, and a few dousing other people around the world, granting them minor reality-altering powers. The power allowing them to manifest things from their imagination. In Scott's case, it's video-games. However, the power is mostly subconscious, and is not possible for Scott to directly control.

As for right now, it allows Scott several things, such as moves similar to those of the “Street Fighter” franchise. But more passively, it allows his general power to increase by “Leveling up” by using his abilities, or by reaching inner revelation. Much like how most meta's powers grows with practice and growing older.

Skills:

Fighting: Scott is a rather skilled hand-to-hand combatant. His style doesn't resemble any traditional style, even if there are certain influences of kung-fu and Jujitsu in his fighting style.

Musician: Scott is a pretty skilled bass-player and a good back-up vocalist.

Nerd: He's read more comic-books and played more video-games in his life than you could imagine. He's also a rather huge fan of superheroes all over the planet.

Equipment:

N/A

Backstory:

Not much is of interest about Scott's early life. His folks were average, and so was he.. Almost. He had a great passion for entertainment, video-games. Especially the ones including asian-styled fighting games. Such as Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter. But he also enjoyed the more child-friendly titles. Scott also had a knack for getting into fights, partly based upon his fondness of video games, but more so because it was natural instinct for him.

His life didn't get interesting till he moved to North Ontario, Canada and began attending High-school. Where he, on his first day got in a fight with three guys. A fight which he lost. He was given detention because the three guys blamed the entire thing on Scott, and no one else dared to say anything, afraid they to would get beaten up. It was in detention, he met his soon to be best-friend. Wallace. Wallace was sort of a trouble-maker, and sassy. Oh wow, was he sassy.

But he found a friend in Scott, helped the newcommer find his place in the school, and helped motivate Scott into training, to be strong enough to beat the bullies. And wow, was he. He was the strongest kid on campus, even though he was still dubbed a nerd, it didn't matter to Scott.

But as his years in high-school began to come to a close, he noticed that he was even stronger than he had originally thought. He was... Something more than everyone else were. Sure, there were other metas in the city, but once Scott tried.. Truly tried, he overcame them all.

Well. That is, till a girl named Ramona came to town at the start of Scott's senior year. Scott fell head-over-heels in love with the Ramona girl, but she in the beginning didn't pay him any mind. Till she got to know him. She liked him, a lot. But there was a problem.

If the two would be able to be together, Scott would have to beat Ramona’s evil Ex's. Which didn't exactly thrill Scott. Starting with a pirate-looking guy who summoned fire spewing sexy-demons, and ending with her last ex, the mastermind behind it all. Gideon.

Gideon beat Scott, crushed him in fact, both physically and mentally. The boy was forced to just about give up on his chance at romance with Ramona, till he could get strong enough. Which is why he approached the Avengers. In fact, he burst through their front-door and punched the Asguardian member of the team in the jaw. Thor did as you'd expect, respond with an equal punch, flooring Scott.

Scott demanded to join the team, to which the avengers just about laughed at him, but they saw promise in him, and they had him join the Young Avengers initiative, the “in-training” program for the earths mightiest heroes, where both the Avengers, and S.H.I.E.L.D agreed that he'd be able to grow.

Taco-Night Thursday is now obligatory in the Young Avengers headquarters, and it's all thanks to Scott.

Samuel had watched as the drama unfolded. Sure, it was spectacular. That guy, Logan, had an attitude, that was for certain. But so did the girl, the one with the lightning seem to have as well. Samuel decided to keep quite, and do as he was told, following Logan down into the bunker. Sam had never been in the bunker before. Last time he had 'trained' it had been in the backyard of some estate just outside of New York.

Charles had a frown on his face as the two mutants left. He couldn't force them to stay, but his heart went out for them, he prayed that they'd be safe. “Keep track of them, Charles. I'll talk to them once we're done here.” His friend, Erik had told Charles, whom nodded. Charles limped down the stairs, Erik walking behind him. The metallic door closed with the help of Erik's powers, leaving the bar unguarded, a “closed” sign in the window.

Logan's body stiffened, he didn't know how or why he was here? Stealing a glance over to Charles who had just made it downstairs with Erik, Logan tried to search his face for answers. What could Charles possibly want with a kid who didn't even know for sure if he was mutant or not? This kid...Snark...was definitely mutant though, Logan could smell it on him. Hell, he could smell it off of Snark more easily than all the others. There was something about this kid...something powerful...and he didn't even know it yet.

Charles looked at Logan and the boy. The boy being just about terrified of the whole situation. Charles approached Logan and Snark, nodding for Logan to tend to the others. “I don't know what happened to you, Snark. But I can help you find out. I am certain, Logan is too, that you're one of us. If you want to, we can talk about it now. Erik and Logan can keep things in check here.” Charles promised the boy.

Erik lead the other mutants into the biggest room which laid down another couple of flights of stairs, Logan following close behind issuing to the others to continue to follow them. The room being about the size of a football field and at least 10 meters to the roof. “This was all a bunker, in case the city would get bombed?” Samuel asked Erik as the younger mutant looked inside, Erik nodded. “Yeah. The government can make things when they decide to. We thought about re-purposing this area to a living-quarters. But that wouldn't give us any room at all to practice your abilities.” Erik said.

Erik turned to the others. “ Well. Aren't you curious to find out exactly what it is everyone else -who is willing- can do?” Erik asked the group, his voice holding a hint of anticipating in it. “You care to start, hotshot?” Erik asked Samuel, whom shrugged. “Sure.” Samuel said, removing his jacket, revealing the white wifebeater he wore under the jacket. He kneeled, and removed his shoes as well. He walked into the bunker, the metal being cool to the touch of his bare feet.

He cracked his neck, and looked back at Erik. “You're sure about this? You want me to just dash, right?” Samuel asked him, and Erik nodded. “ I would prefer if you didn't make a hole in the bunker, correct.”

“All right.” Samuel said, as he closed his eyes, and took a breath, before bending forward, and putting his feet in front of each other, as if he was gonna spring. His left foot hit the metal floor, and as the right one raised from the floor, a blue energy surrounded the boy's lower-body. With a loud 'boom' Samuel left a blue streak in the room as he dashed across the bunker a few feet off the ground, he hit the end of the bunker, by twirling in the air. Bouncing off the metal by putting his left arm down, he jerked his body around, slowing down, until he slid on the floor on his feet, now on the other side of the room. He had still a few feet left to the wall.

“That good enough for you?” Samuel asked Erik, whom had a confident smirk on his face. “Excellent. Even. So, who's next?” He asked the others.

Upon watching the spectacle, Logan had removed his leather jacket revealing his own white wife-beater, though his bore the stains of experience. Arms folded, Logan just scoffed.

"Cute light-show kid. Remind me next time to get the popcorn." Logan said turning his back, seemingly not impressed by the boy's skill. Walking now over to Kimberly, he put his hand on her shoulder delicately.

"Let's see what you got. Lunch is on me if it's better than his." Logan said gruffly, but a twinkle in his eye indicated that he was actually beginning to enjoy himself. He hadn't forgotten that she was the first to voulenteer.
