Bio:
Ben is the artificially created clone of a certain Peter Parker, Spider-Man. He didn't inherent any of Parker's memories, yet, he feels a strong connection to certain things. Things he can't quite figure out, Regardless, that was three years ago Spider-Man was cloned. Ben's purpose was to eliminate and destroy the Spider-Man. Which he attempted. He found the Webhead, and the two fought. The fight was long as bloody, and it happened all over New York. The two clones trading blows and shooting web. Evenly matched in every sense.
The fight ended with both of them passing out on a rooftop in Queens. Ben would later find out about the man who had created him, a scientist who had been hired by The Kingpin. His name was Michael, and by the time Ben had gotten to Michael, after recovering from his wounds from Parker, the lab was already gone. Instead, he was contacted by a certain Director Fury, whom promised him a opportunity to save the world. Ben reluctantly accepted, and went into S.H.I.E.L.D training for a year and a half. At which point he was deployed into the field. He himself, a little bit disappointed he wasn't allowed to join the Avengers Initiative.

But now, he's given a real shot at saving the world, all the while working along side one of the greatest heroes of all time.
Personality:
Witty, immature and loud-mouthed. He talks as much as he eats. He's one to pull jokes even in really uncomfortable situations. The dude has a pretty serious anger problem that he tends to keep hidden from others by cracking jokes and playing the role of a jester. He's also got a huge complex about the fact that he's not the real spider-man.

Enhanced Physical Features:
Strength, Agility, Speed, Durability, Healing factory are all on par with that of the original spider-man.
Spider-Sense:
A sixth-sense, giving him precognitive abilities, allowing him to sense when there's danger to him or someone he cares about. His spider-sense is less fine-tuned than Peter's.
Web-Shooters: Ben holds specially made web-shooters that shoots web more powerful than that of Parker's. They're mounted to his wrists, and he can make several patterns out of them in just a matter of moments.

Character Stash

The year is 1946. The second World War has just ended. The Nazis were defeated, and everything was just peachy. It was the late 40's, and the world was recovering from a conflict that would go on to shake minds for decades. Henry Truman is the President Of The United States Of America. The greatest country in the world, according to many. The land of opportunity, land of the free, home of the brave. All was fantastic. The big apple, New York City, is where the eyes of the world is.

It's a place of prosperity and happiness. Where everyone enjoys their time. Where a man can carve his name into history. It's the greatest time yet to be alive... If you have no problem with the drug-trading, the human trafficking, the murdering and kidnapping. The Mob having their finger up everyone's backside, oh, and the Chinese slicing up people. Not to mention the xenophobic, racist and homophobic nature of the city, the whole world, in fact.

And this is where our story takes place. It starts with a name, of a scientist, none the less. Charles Maximilian Xavier. The 28 year old genius is a man who's found proof of a brand new species living amongst us. And he's one of them. They are Homo Sapiens Superior, layman terms, Mutants. People with extraordinary gifts. And very few of them have made it through puberty already. Maybe it's because of the nuclear testing around the globe. Maybe it's something in the milk.

Hell, maybe it's the coke everyone and their nan is snorting. Charles doesn't know. He just know that their gifts are to be used, not abused. And he wishes to help every single one of his kind to a better life. A life with more control over their abilities. But also to help them gain acceptance in the eyes of the general public. Whom are currently unaware of their existence.

Everyone can't be Captain America.

SETTING

New York Overview (From 1939 - 1949)

The 1940's were dominated by World War II. European artists and intellectuals fled to the United States from Hitler and the Holocaust, bringing new ideas created in disillusionment. War production brought America out from the Great Depression. Women and blacks were needed to replace men who had gone off to war, and so the first great exodus of women from the home to the workplace began. Rationing affected the food we ate, the clothes we wore, the toys with which children played and so on...

After the war, the men returned and the women and blacks had to give up their jobs back to the men, but not without that taste of independence. No longer was the family farm an ideal; no longer would blacks accept lesser status. The GI Bill allowed more men than ever before to get a college education.

Penecillin was just introduced sucessfully, revolutionizing medicine and curing what had previously been death sentences for thousands upon thousands.

The government reclassified 55% of their jobs, allowing women and blacks to fill them. First, single women were actively recruited to the workforce. In 1943, with virtually all the single women employed, married women were allowed to work. Japanese immigrants and their descendants, suspected of loyalty to their homelands, were sent to internment camps.

It is no secret that America had very big trust issues when it came to Germans and the Japanese.

Scrap drives were very common for the war effort and the production of cars stopped completely.

FDR was president until 1945 when FDR died and Harry Truman took over.

Japan finally surrendered in 1945 after Hiroshima and Nagasaki and the USA came out the victor of the war, though they were challenged by the USSR. While the USSR subjugated the defeated countries, the US implemented the Marshall Plan, helping war-torn countries to rebuild and rejoin the world economy. Disputes over ideology and control led to the Cold War. Communism was treated as a contagious disease, and anyone who had contact with it was under suspicion.

Television made its debut at the 1939 World Fair, but the war interrupted further development. In 1947, commercial television with 13 stations became available to the public. Computers were developed during the early forties. The digital computer, named ENIAC, weighing 30 tons and standing two stories high, was completed in 1945.

Dating:

Dating was 'absolutely essential' back then because life expectancy was low so there was that feeling of 'get married now or die alone.' birth control options were limited and divorce just never happened.

If he was a single, healthy, young, American man, you can bet he was shipped overseas after Pearl Harbor. Thanks to the war, the life expectancy for a man was only 60 years, while a woman’s was over 68.

There were two types of single men left in the early 40s — those who wanted to sleep around because they knew they could die tomorrow, and the ones who wanted to land the love of their life, because they wanted something to have faith in if they died tomorrow.

It was always expected that a man pay for dinner.

In the 1940s, it was common for young people in their late teens to go out with a different person each weekend. The more dates someone had lined up, the more they displayed their popularity. Boys were obligated to ask the girls out, and sometimes they had to schedule a date weeks in advance. By the time a woman was ready to settle down, she would have gone on many dates and even had experienced “going steady” with a fellow or two. Of course, girls who smoked or had sex were considered easy, and snubbed by the neighborhood. Thankfully, Hollywood took up smoking in the mid-40s and suddenly cigarettes became acceptable and even sex

Clothes:

Wartime rationing left little time for fashionable whims or embellishments. Both men and women re-wore leftover outfits from the 1930s, retailoring clothes to hike up hemlines. Women slimmed down old men’s coats and slacks, wearing pants in the factories to guard their legs against machines. Girdles were ditched for T-shirts. The bikini was first introduced in 1946.

Entertainment:

Liquor, like all good things, was rationed during the war. But thanks to Roosevelt’s open trade policy with Latin America, rum was plentiful and popular. The rum daiquiri was a hit, simply sweetened with lime juice and a teaspoon of sugar.

WWII affected nearly every aspect of American life, and film was no exception. Thrillers and dramas like Casablanca, Notorious, and The Great Dictator reigned in the theaters. Big band music dominated the early half of the decade, while Frank Sinatra and his crooning cohorts wooed newlyweds by the end of the 40s.

Power: Telepathy / Empathic Telepathy.
Position in School: Headmaster / Mutation 101.
Background:
Born to a rich family in England, Charles lived a brilliant life, with the exception that his parents worked day in and day out. He discovered he was a mutant at the mere age of four. He was a genius from the first day he was born. He graduatd Stanford at the age of 16 with top-grades. At the age of 20, he got mugged. The knife the mugger wielded hit him in the back, crippling him, forcing him to walk with a limp on the right side for the rest of his life. He uses a cane.

Power: Electro Magnetic Manipulation.
Position in School: Teacher Of Power Control / Humans & Us 208.
Background:
He was a man of medicine, born in Austria. His parents were Jews, but Erik was a man of science. Erik had become very interested in biology, and medicine when he, at the age of 7, discovered he could move metal objects with his mind. He became a doctor at the mere age of 19. Opening his own clinic. He met his wife, whom were off strong jewish belief, and two years later, they had a son. Their lives were wonderful.

Then came the SS-Soldiers. Tricking him and his wife, along with their son, Claus, and their Daughter, Adria, into coming to Germany. To the concentration camps they went in 1942. They were forced to work for another year and a half, and when the war was about to end in favor of the allied forces ,the germans were ordered to "deal" with the prisoners at the camps. Erik's wife and kids were shot, right in front of him, his wife catching a bullet meant for him.
Erik's powers got unhinged. More powerful than anyone would've imagined. The entire camp was destroyed. Everysingle one of the soldiers were killed by the lone mutant. The buildings were ruined, and the prisoners that hadn't died as collateral by Erik's anger escaped.

Erik was rescued by people who came to the camp, looking for loved ones, and taken to England, where he was approched by Xavier, whom offered him solidarity, understanding, but most of all, brotherhood. Erik joned Charles, and the two ave spent the last year and a half recruiting young mutants.

Background:
Born in 1880 in a small town in Canada as James Howlette to rich farmers, though it was later discovered that his real father was Thomas Logan, the groudskeeper. Out of anger from being fired, Thomas came to the farm and killed James' father. Furious, bone claws emerged from James' hands and with an uncontrolable rage, killed Thomas learning then who his real father was. James was then cast out by his mother, who later killed herself. He ran away with his childhood friend Rose and grew into a man on a mining colony in the Yukon Territory, taking the name 'Logan' in honor of his real father.

After a slight incident that involved killing Rose with his claws, Logan again ran and lived for a couple of years with the wolves until returning to civilization, living with the Blackfoot indians. It was here that he fell in love with an indian woman, Silver Fox who died at the hands of Sabretooth. To escape his inner pain, he then inlisted in the war for World War 1. After the war, Logan spent some time in Japan where he became somewhat of an idol for the Yakuza, though working under-cover to help those who had been imprisoned by them.

Logan, however, once again left to help out where he could during World War 2, and when it was over he resided in the United States where he was approached by men who pho promised to help him become a better mutant. Trusting these men, Logan went with them only to have his entire bone-structure remade out of adamantium, a metal that is virtually indestructable. After learning that these men only wanted to use him as a weapon, and to wipe his memory, Logan escaped. It was then that Charles Xavier found him, implying that he had a job for him. Logan hasn't been back to Japan since, but has kept secret ties with a couple of families, hoping to bring them over to the United States where they could be free.
