Nothing ever ends poetically. It ends and we turn it into poetry. All of that blood was never once beautiful. It was just red.

I was gonna say "Too soon".

But I'm glad Damian's dead.

Fucking annoying brat.
Billy took the things that the Martian and the Batman had said to the group to heart. He did think about it. But in his gut, he already knew the answer, there was no point for him to even think about it. This was what he wanted, it's what he was brought back to life to do. Billy cleared his throat, and was about to step forward, as he was cut off by the man with the accent, talking to the two Leaguers with a tone that indicated that there was something more going on.

And before William could speak up again, he was yet again caught off guard by the Amazon, whom wrongfully assumed that the kid with the S on his chest was Superman. Not an entirely unjustified thing to think. But these youngsters sure are energetic. William thought to himself.

Now, the elderly man stepped forward, removing the ring from his finger, and dropping it to the floor. "I'm staying. Someone's gotta keep an eye on you lot." William told them, his tone was upbeat and cheerful, yet, it held the authority of an elderly, well respected and powerful man.

"Now. I assume we can get put back to... Well. Earth, with this gizmo without too much of a hassle, right? It's almost time for me to take my medicine, and I forgot it on the counter." The man said, with a slightly embarrassed chuckle.
Wait.

Two weeks since last post.

Billy post incoming.
I have posted.

Whatchu talkin' bout.

Name:
Javian Northstar II

Age: 21

Soulforging Specialty:
ForceField:
Javian is able to generate a force-field around himself, serving as a shield that protects him, or others from harm. The forcefield is said nigh-impenetrable. However, Javian cannot attack and keep the "bubble" up at the same time.

Geomancy:
Javian's able to manipulate the ground below us, usually to errupt constructs of earth, such as make-shift walls or pillars. His mastery of geomancy is ironic, since his greatest skill is aerial fighting.

Abilities:
Javian posses basic regenerative abilities, as well as the ability to use his spirit to power his body increasing his physical prowess, as would all cadets and members of the Brigade. He's also able to use his spirit to propel himself high into the air, and come crashing down from these jumps with impressive power.

Skills:
Martial Training:
Javian's received extensive martial training, even since he was a child. He's a skilled hand-to-hand combatant, a very skilled user of polearms and a natural born leader-figure.

Swordsmanship:
Javian is a well versed blades man. Originally a spear man, he's picked up sword fighting over the years. He's skilled with most blades, ranging from rapiers to scimitars. His personal favorite is the kukri.

Strategic thinking:
Javian's a damn good tactician. He commands, and he conquers, taking his own and his team's abilities into account whenever he gets to planning. He thinks something through thoroughly before taking to action. Javian tries his hardest to keep his head cool, and his thinking objective when he's planning a tactic.

Charismatic:
Javian's got the attitude of a knight. He shows authority and pondus to those around him, and it's shown in both his actions and words. He's a gentleman, and everyone knows it. Javian's able to calm down a situation before it gets worsened thanks to his charisma.

Equipment:
His spearblade is his most obvious weapon, meant to offer the reach of a spear, the power of an axe, and the edge of a sword. He carries his father's kukri with him on his hip. On his shoulder, there's his shoulderpad, used to belong to his father, it's made out of mostly bronze, allowing Javian to amplify his spirit through it.

Backstory:

Javian's father, Northstar Sr. Was a Dragon Slayer, pretty old, in his 60's when his son came into the world.. Sr. Was the only surviving member of the original Bronze Brigade, he had retired from the brigade a long time ago, but was still hailed as a honorary member of the brigade, and recognized as such by the people of Ashnator.

Javian was born with high-expectations, to become a great warrior like his father. Javian's mother, Bella, got very sick when Javian was very young, so he never got to know his mother. He lived in the shadow of his father his entire childhood, and his father echoed in his life. He enlisted into the Martial Academy at the age of 11, as would all who wanted to join the military. He showed great promise, not only as a warrior, but also as a leader.

Javian's father died when Javian was 16 years old, leaving the young boy, and people in the city, and in the brigade hurting. But Javian tried to move on with his life, inherenting his father's sword, and the piece of armor he had kept for over 50 years. Javian, was unlike his father, unable to manipulated wind, but instead able to manipulated the earth below him, allowing him to still perform powerful feats with his spear.

Javian had been a candidate for the Brigade for the last two years, but not seen to be emotionally ready, despite proving to be one of the most powerful young candidates the City Of Bronze have to offer. But this time, it will be his time to shine. Leaving his old position as one of the 12 Captains of the Militia for the brigade.

Other:

All characters do not have to have a military background to join the brigade. Javian's more of an exception than a rule.
Thomas had watched it all. His eyes had followed every motion that had happened below him. Everything from the police taking their formation, to the ATM's being thrown at the cruiser. The chopper came, but it didn't pay any attention at all to Thomas. He watched the chopper soaring in the air, the sniper on the side of the chopper taking aim at the super-strong man below. But that's when the pillar shot up. Thomas felt as it all happened in slowmotion, as the gigantic chunk of steel, stone and rebar hit the chopper, penetrating the hull of the cockpit, crushing the two pilots, and then with motion still left found it's way into the middle of the chopper, making the aircraft explode. Just a few meters away from the Texan.

His eyes were wide-open as he watched the burning debris sail towards the ground, where the police had luckily gotten out of the way. Thomas clenched his fist with anger, he knew he couldn't just sit on the roof anymore. He had to act. He looked to the side. He saw the two SWAT trucks coming a block away. Gritting his teeth, he looked to the door that lead down into the staircase. He let the irony remain lost on him, a thought in the back of his head cursing the fact that he had to fight inside a building, where he couldn't utilize his wings properly.

He kicked the door open, just as the building shook. And as he looked back ,he entire section he had been standing on, the part that was above the entrance, had collapsed. His attention quickly turned to the task ahead. He put his hand onto his back, arming himself with one of the batons he carried. He flicked his wrist, making the weapon extend into it's battle-ready state.

Thomas heard voices below him, probably at the bottom of the staircase, behind the other door.
They sounded scared. Hostages. He thought, he jumped down the stairs, using his wings like a parachute to allow him to land safely at the bottom of the staircase, however, it was with a rather loud thud. A voice, angry, was heard. “The fuck was that? Jackson, check it out.”

One man, armed with military Assault Rifle walked through the door, Thomas dashed to the side, taking cover behind the door that had been opened. As Jackson looked out, he didn't see anything. “Probably just some debris from the boss tearin' the place apart.” Jackson walked back into the hallway, towards his partner. However, much hos his surprise, the vigilante charged from behind, Thomas hid the inside of Jackson's knee, forcing him down on the other, with his free hand, Thomas directed the weapon in the thug's hand towards his partner, firing a spree of bullets into the vest of the other man, knocking him off his feet. Thomas grabbed the gun from Jackson's hands, whom was crying out in pain from the leg, and hit him with the butt of the gun, knocking him out.

He walked towards the other thug, his wings still towards his body, the man was trying to catch his breath from the bullets hitting his vest. Thomas brought his boot down into the man's chest, making him let out a loud scream, before he fainted.

The hostages were gagged with rags in their mouth and bound by zipties.

Thomas looked at them, and thought the whole thing out. He wanted to free them. But the odds of them being able to I.D him if he'd let them get a good look of him, or backup coming and taking him by surprise was too high. So Thomas just left with a “ I'll be back.”

Thomas walked towards the main entrace, where he was met with another two thugs, just around the corner of the hostages. Thomas side-stepped, to disorient the thug's aim. “Hey, we've got some- what the fuck's that?!” The thug shouted as the other man had spread his wings, the wings stretching as wide as the corridor. Thomas used his left hand to grab two feathers from his right wing, and threw them, like shuriken, into the arm of the left thug, and with the other, he flung the Baton into the chest of the Thug not wounded by the feathers. He then calmly walked over to the thug holding his bleeding arm. If he wasn't pissed, he would probably have admired just how sharp his feathers were, but instead, he just punched the thug out cold. He plucked the feathers out of the thug, putting them in his pocket, as well as picking up his baton again. The thug whom he had hit with the stick, however was still awake. “Wh-who.. What are you..” The man wheezed. Thomas let out a scoff. Bringing the man up from the ground, easily hauling the 200 pound man up against the wall. Thomas held the man by the throat, not choking him, but it certainly would've hurt. He stared into his eyes. “Angel.” He spoke, as he thug scoffed, and let out a groan, his left arm shot out, a knife in hand, going for the vigilante's ribs. Thomas reacted fast enough, however, and grabbed him by the wrist, snapping it with a muffled grunt, he then brought his elbow into the man's face, knocking him out cold.

He headed into the main hallway, where the dust was thick, Thomas held his breath, as he could for several minutes without any issues. His eyes did do well in dust, but not great.
Thomas saw the back of the giant of a man as he headed down a corridor on the other side of the bank, leading to what Thomas would assume was the vault.

Taking the guy who can fling pillars like it's nothing out.. Well.. That's gonna be tricky. Thomas thought, as he walked, making sure to sneak as best as he could.
