Desktop profile login won't work. Coincidence that Windows 7 is no longer supported on same day? Consider me doubtful.

I'm having way too much fun with my Legend of Zelda Encylopedia. This is the game that got me into roleplaying so have a lot invested in it's lore and stories. Too bad can't have all the games too.

Bard is so fun to play but oh so frustrating when you have a bad team. If you have an actual group of people together who know how Bard works though, so much potential. Well I might as well say my username, Rakshasha. Of course I am Plat IV so if you try to play with me ya might be fighting higher leveled players then you're used to.
For Joshua move-in day was a great experience, though for him it was more like return-day. He had already been at the college for a year and so had no trouble getting some of the other students to help him return to his room. His roommate was running a bit late today so he had not seen him yet and had made due with helping some of the other kids move in. He got to see quite a few new faces as well as some old ones. He knew quite a few people's names, maybe what they liked to do as well but aside from that not much. Still it was fun in its own way.

The current dorm he was in was separated by what some might call the 'mixing lounge', that magical area in between the women's and men's dorms. Well it was more magical for some than for others of course, especially the occasional couple who liked to flaunt off their status as together. Outside he would smile but inside he could not help but think they really needed to go somewhere a bit more private, there was also that matter of his mother who every time she talked with him tried to encourage him to find a date. He loved his mother but man could that woman nag, making him not want to bother.

He made his way to the lounge after a while and it was then that his life would start to take a drastic turn, it was when he first noticed her. Joshua was not sure why this black-haired girl caught his attention, she was a bit pretty sure but there were plenty of beautiful people on campus but outside looks were only a mask for the person inside. Often times when he got a peek under the mask the person was just not all that interesting, which was probably way he had a lot more acquaintances than friends. In any event it was not looks are the fact that she was typing away at a laptop with a drink she kept sipping. It was some strange sort of nagging feeling that just would not go away.

In any event Joshua at first ignored it but soon her figure just kept getting caught in his eyes and there was no way to ignore it. Then he saw something that made him stop trying to ignore her. The girl wiped away something from face and he caught the faintest glimmer of a tear. Did she have something in her eye? Or maybe some other reason? In any event Joshua excused himself from a group he had been talking to and made his way over to her, curiosity getting the better of him.

Acting as casually as he could, Joshua found a nearby seat and plunked himself down so he could be at eye-level with her. He tried his best to look as friendly as possible as he started to speak. "Hello there, my name is Joshua, a pleasure to make your acquaintance." This was his opening line, which was true to a fault. He thought about asking for her name right away but decided not to, as to let her introduce herself if she felt like it.

"Just wanted to say hi, no pressure or anything." He said, trying to reassure her as much as he could. Little did he know that this exchange was to be the start of something extraordinary, and at times dangerous. If he had any knowledge beforehand would he have still talked to her? Who knows but the first step had been taken.
Name: Joshua Kiln

Age: 20

Personality: Joshua can be described best as the resident competent, nice guy. People tend to respect him and like him right off the bat with his upbeat personality. Despite his familiarity with people he tends to have rather shallow, acquaintance type relationships with others generally. Unless a person peeks his interest he tends not to bother getting to know them better.

Skills: Just a regular guy but he is rather skilled at a few things. His best sport is tennis, can still sing tenor, and is one of those gifted individuals who can score fairly high on tests with minimal studying.

Background: Joshua has lived what one would call a fairly normal life. Raised in a loving home with both parents still together even after some rough patches in their lives. Joshua is forever thankful for what his parents have done for him and works hard to not let them down. He did well in school and graduated high school with honors though because of this he never really got around to finding a girlfriend. Since entering college he has slacked quite a bit on studies and instead has an after-class job around campus as a custodian.

One of his passions throughout high school was tennis, which he has continued doing in college and has even joined the tennis team, though at the moment he is not a lead player. Despite his good reputation his only close friends at the moment are some of his teammates, though his mom often calls to try and convince him to ask girls out. Joshua has a good laugh with his mom over this, much to her annoyance, and continues on with his life. There are much more interesting things to do during this time after all.
Decided to bump after forever. Tried to get back into group roleplays but so hard to keep them going. Time to get back to a simpler format.
The Eagle eyed the experiments inside the building with a calculating red-eye. The cybernetic implant giving the overgrown-pigeon infared on top of its sharp eyesight. The inside of a factory was not the greatest place for flight but the cyber certainly had the advantage none-the-less in mobility. The Eagle was a little too small to effectively carry and net so instead it was armed with tranquilizers, two little dart-throwers nestled quite nicely on its shoulders making the soaring Eagle akin to a fighter jet.

Eyes on Alex and Taryn, the Eagle started to make strafing runs. Darts flew across the inside of the building as tranquilizers attempt to hit their mark. The Eagle was fast and kept attacking like a dog fighter, giving little chance to counterattack, as long as it had free reign.

"Yer a lucky little devil ya know that!" Grace cursed as the final robber managed to get away then she heard Jude apologize for allowing the robber to escape. "Well canna be helped. First law of policing is survival." Grace picked herself up from the ground and quickly picked up her shotgun which had fallen from her grasp during her dodge. "Then ya can bring in the riffraff."

The arrow Judge had fired earlier had punctured the snake to the side of its body, avoiding any vitals, like the head. The snake quickly whirled around to strike again when Sofie made her move. Fire flashed over the python's body, the cybernetics held firm but the snake's natural body took some nasty burns as a result. The snake hissed in annoyance as the flames took a toll on its body; however, Sophie had made a mistake in her reasoning. As a reptile the creature grew sharper and faster as the heat went through its body. With the sudden heat flash the snake was now, in a sense, supercharged its mind working faster than ever.

"That was some pretty hellfire there." Grace could not help commenting after the snake was partly roasted. The snake opened its mouth and fired an electrified net from it at Sophie in response to the earlier assault. In a millisecond the python turned once again on Jude, this time trying to circle him in order to find a moment to strike and squeeze the robot into submission. Grace thought about shooting but she might hit the robot guy, and while they may not be friends at the moment the giant snake seemed more of a menace so she held her fire.

Meanwhile the Hyena had made its way into the building as well, its 'laughing' echoing in the factory as it hunted down the experiments. Robert by this point had arrived on top of a nearby building. Taking out a pair of binoculars he started to survey the situation from a safe distance. The oldest son of the Veiss family wanted to go in himself but he had been counting on speed and so had little protection for himself. For now he would just wait and see his creations at work.
Been a bit busy, gonna try to get a post up.
Nothing wrong with it however the roleplay is currently full. I've tried to change the status to full but for some reason it won't. Guess I'll just have to change the title instead.
Cyber python is mine but cyber hyena and eagle you guys can have fun with.
The cyber hound was too focused on the next target so did not notice the bubble of ultimate stickyness approaching. The hound tried to jump out of the way but the bubble snagged its leg, pinning it to the wall. The part machine canine tried to wrench itself from its new chain but was unable to do so. It then tried to bite its way out, which only succeeded in getting its teeth stuck as well. The part that was still a dog started to whine with a pitiful noise.

"Where the heck did you come from?" The officer groaned from the collision and managed to extricate himself from their entanglement. "But more importantly," he glanced back at the dog and shuddered, "I don't care who you are I'm getting out of here! I'm going to plead to my superiors to get a new beat!" With that said he bolted.

The dog was out of commission but Robert had a few cyber-beasts in the area which quickly collapsed in on the area. One cyber python, a cyber hyena, and a cyber eagle. They were equipped for a capturing mission with electric nets, tranquilizer darts, and a smokescreen so they could take advantage of infared.

Grace readied her shotgun as the cyber python made its entrance around a corner toward her, the remaining crook and the robot samurai. "This here is getting mighty crowded. Friend of yourn?" Grace asked not really expecting an answer. "Dog nammit, guess the arrest will have to wait for a spell."

The python was fast for a huge mechanized snake of destruction. Zipping forward it made a beeline for the samurai robot, no doubt planning to catch him in its tight embrace, unfortunately for Grace she happened to be in the way. "Damnation and hellfire its a big one!" Grace fired off a shell, the shotgun blast ripped off some of the metal plating on its face but before she could fire another shot she had to jump to the side or be crushed by its body. Even with the dodge the speeding body managed to catch graze her on the side, making her glad she had on a bullet proof vest.

The last robber had pretty much wet himself at this point, his last thread of sanity quickly snapped at the appearance of the cyber beast so he fired off a shot at Jude and attempted to flee.

Things were getting rather hectic quickly.
Let me get in there first, Lord.

Actually, I guess it doesn't matter, my character is definitely side-lined at the moment, but I definitely want to establish her presence.

EDIT:

Also: I'm having trouble deciphering what Grace's accent is supposed to be.

Gomen, gomen. As for the accent, I really have no idea myself lol. Just wanted to give her a 'unique' speech pattern. I kinda want to say a southern accent but well, I'm sure my attempt leaves much to be desired so its more like lazy speech.

I'll be gone for a good part of the day.
