OOC is now Live!One thing that always confused me about Dragon Ball was the Planet Trade Organization. Apparently they control most the galaxy and yet they sell planets? After killing or enslaving entire populations? Who in the world are they selling them to? Also if you were in control why would you bother selling entire planets in the first place?
Anyway the idea is that there is a large empire, perhaps from outside the galaxy, that has been buying and colonizing the planets sold by the Planet Trade Organization. After the fall of the Cold Clan the organization's power was shattered and so there have been few sales in recent years. This empire has decided they have gotten enough of a foothold and have started their own expansion program. Needless to say expansion is not good for planets like Earth and Namek so something must be done in order to stop them.
Well that's the basic gist, just seeing if the idea trickles people's fancy or not.
Story
It has been many years since the deaths of the Z fighters of old. In any event Earth has gone through many changes since the early days and has advanced quite far technologically. Earth has since joined a larger community, their foremost other world partner of course being Namek and the Namekians. It is rather unfortunate but because of the World Trade Organization and its policy of sending saiyan pods to purge planets, finding other friendly races has been rather fruitless, as those races are either dead or have such small populations that civilization is basically nonexistent. There are of course other planets that were either enslaved or repopulated by the World Trade Organization and while a few have shaken off their shackles others have either stayed with the World Trade Organization or were sold.
Earth has been instrumental in the rebuilding of many other worlds at this point but it seems that many of the planets sold by the World Trade Organization had a buyer. The buyers are still unknown but it appears that agents have been sent to recapture bought planets and with their supplier, the World Trade Organization, shattered, a militaristic movement has been formed to help in expansion. There has been talk of troops and various aliens being sent to previous World Trade Organization worlds to crush rebellions and many worlds are starting to feel threatened by this unknown.
Power plays are starting to happen and it will soon threaten the lives of all races in the galaxy...
Player Races
Humans: The most populous race on earth most are rather low powered, having grown up with technology being able to compensate for most things. Because so few try to get stronger naturally, most do not realize the potential their bodies possess. Still, humans can greatly compensate for lack of natural strength with technology but of course relying on such technology has its limitations. There are some humans alive with trace amounts of saiyan blood in them and those individuals tend to have stronger bodies and ki then other human fighters, some might even have locked away the ability to transform in super saiyan form; though it would be more accurate to say super human form.
Androids: After several close shaves with death at the hands of alien forces, or even literally death then dragon ball miracle saves, Earth got a little paranoid about their safety. Some remembered the great power of the androids created by Dr. Gero and to help bolster Earth's defenses programs were created to create ultimate, man created fighting machines. The programs took up volunteers who agreed to undergo dramatic, and often life threatening, android transformation surgery in order to become Earth's new defenders. There have been rumors of Dr. Gero's work being stolen by less reputable sources for their own designs however...
Anthros: Earth is home to many species of intelligent life, a large portion being taken up by animal based species with human characteristics. These races vary greatly in size and appearance, from dragons to werewolves and beyond. Considering how different the various types are its impossible to gauge a standard for this 'race'.
Demons: These creatures come from an alternate dimension of Earth and like the Anthros range greatly in appearance and power. One of the most recognizable demons of high power would be Dabura who came to Earth to help Babidi revive Majin Buu. Once Earth was confident they could defend themselves they managed to take control of a portal between our realm and the demon realm, allowing some demons to travel back and forth between dimensions. As a result a sort of small, cultural exchange has occured between Earth and the Demon Realm. Of course progress is very slow as most demons are not trusted.
Majins: Majin Buu is perhaps the only creature to ever figure out how to reproduce himself into an entire species by creating a female version of himself to start a family with. Obviously this was only possible due to Buu's magical nature and now a sizable population of the gummy beings inhabits the Earth. Of course considering the species came from a single source the average Majin is considerably less powerful then their ancestor. Still, it is good to note that Majins still have a magical base and powers of survival and regeneration are still quite high.
Namekians: Namek is earth's closest neighbor and irrefutable ally. Their population has grown quite a lot over the generations and their civilization is once again thriving. Known for being asexual and having powerful regenerative properties a competent namekian warrior is not to be looked down upon. After the devastation brought upon their world by Freiza, which did blow it up but the world was remade by the dragon balls, the namekians have also, like Earth, realized the need for powerful fighters. As such, the powerful technique of fusion was revived, though of course with strict limitations as fusion can be quite dangerous. Namekians who attempt more than one fusion often fall into insanity and destroy themselves with the addition of a third body. Still, These powerful warriors will no doubt be needed in the times to come.
Original Alien: There are still aliens out there unknown to man who are perhaps fleeing from the coming threat. If you're up to it you can try to create your own race but I'll have to approve it.

Signature Combat Techniques:So you may have been wondering why I did not include power level in the character sheet. Well Power Levels literally don't matter, yes characters will be stronger than yours but fighting is not all about power so I decided to omit that knowledge. Also I don't want people trying to point to their superior power level as if that meant they should win a fight or whatever.
