Desktop profile login won't work. Coincidence that Windows 7 is no longer supported on same day? Consider me doubtful.

I'm having way too much fun with my Legend of Zelda Encylopedia. This is the game that got me into roleplaying so have a lot invested in it's lore and stories. Too bad can't have all the games too.

Quite interested but with a job system sort of in play, makes me have to think a bit about what I actually want to do.
Rufus ignored Android 58 for the most part but when Baal gave him that snide comment about leaving him the weaklings Rufus flew into a rage. "As if you walking pile of steak! I can beat you into the afterlife and back so don't come crying to me if you run into some muscle head!" Rufus was not just barking, he had ever confidence he could beat the big demon in a fight however, confidence never decided a brawl and certainly Rufus was not an idiot.

"Ya whatever go and ask the locals, I'm going hunting. I'll sniff them out soon enough." Rufus spat on the ground, watched as the moisture made a wet spot that dried up almost instantly. Looking toward up out of the valley, he decided to run upward and spot the nearest set of mountains to be his first search grid. Unlike the Android and Demon, the Anthro decided to merely run really fast and he was incredibly quick on his feet.

"Be careful you three!" Jeene called out to the retreating figures of Android 58 and Baal in the sky, their destination obviously being Onyxtite, and to Rufus who was speeding away in another direction. Jeene glanced around the desolate landscape, like the pilot had said mostly rocks and minerals with little else to see except the occasional bush, there was obviously no Oasis around this section. Frankly Jeene had wanted to remain on the ship to tinker some more but her superiors had ordered her to join in the search probably because they really wanted some human representatives involved in the mission.

"Well better get going I guess. At least now I can test out my new baby." With a childish grin Jeene took out a blue capsule and tossed it on the ground. Out popped a small, Oval shaped craft with sleek wings and a rocket based engine for increased speed. Cracking open the transparent cockpit which looked like glass but thankfully was not, Jeene jumped in and booted up the system. "Lets go for a little test run shall we?" With a quick check and a few switches and buttons, the small personal craft rose up in the air and she started to search around, using the various instruments on the vessel to scan the surrounding area.

Onyxtite City

The city was half-ruins by this point but the remaining Berylians were putting up quite a good fight. The City was one of the few population centers not yet completely taken over by the invading force. The crustacean like natives scurried around, many of them armed with beam rifles as they attempted to fight off the various alien species that comprised of the invading force. Many of the invaders were wearing the traditional battle armor of the World Trade Organization but there were a few exceptions who appeared to be letting the other aliens fight on the front lines.

One of the main reasons the Berylians had not yet fallen in this city was that most of the more powerful exoskeletons were located in this City which was one of the main processing centers and therefore had more access to power and exotic materials for birthing nests. A beam weapon bounced off the exoskeleton of a metallic looking Berylian soldier who in turn shot down the alien who had fired the shot. A Berylian with gold in his exoskeleton, one of the city leaders watched in silence. Despite the brave fight there was little doubt it would not be much longer before this last bastion of defense would be overrun and the planet enslaved completely. "Blast it, to think we will once again be the servants of a tyrant, still we will make sure they pay heavily for this outrage!"
Yes most will be staring with the group that just arrived on the planet. Now to give you guys an idea of the planet.

Planet Beryl

A very dry planet with little vegetation and water meaning it can often look like a wasteland for miles. Most cities are situation around the various oasis scattered around the planet, the few sources of water around. What makes the Planet interesting is that it has massive deposits of Valuable materials and precious metals, making it an ideal mining planet. Mines are very common on the planet as precious metals are in great abundance.

The natives are the planet the Berylians, a somewhat stout species, usually only five feet high at most, that have a very unique biology. Berylians are born with an exoskeleton that covers their entire bodies, making them look somewhat like insects or crabs. The exoskeletons are unique as they take on properties of the material they were born with. Berylians are born by eggs which are then nested in 'material bins', the eggs absorb the nest materials and encodes it into the Berylian's exoskeletal system. Because of how they are born there are as many different types of Berylians as there are minerals. Of course the more expensive materials are reserved for the more wealthy Berylians.

The Berylian way of life however is once again in danger due to the recent invasion.
Location: Earth Spacecraft Black Bird, Approaching Planet Beryl

It really was quite amazing how quickly technology had developed, Jeene Quark mused as she tinkered with some of her equipment, making sure her gauntlets and boots were just so. She was in a small lab room on the ship that had transported them so many light years in such a short time. The Black Bird was a relatively small spacecraft, with a distinct triangular shape, which just showed that everything had to be spheres. Like its name the Black Bird was colored like the night so it could easily slip through space undetected thanks to the inclusion of a set of sensor jammers on board. Stealth was the name of the game as the ship hurled through space.

The ship had a special drive system that created essentially a tunnel through space-time which the ship had hurled through on its trip to Beryl. A trip that could have easily taken months a ship's generation ago had been reduced to a few days. The ship had exited the slip-stream a good ways from the planet however to make sure the last leg of the trip could be done undetected and so far the ship had made it. They had seen no other ships on their way there but most likely the invaders had already landed a long time ago so it was not exactly a surprise. A final few adjustments with some micro tools fixed into her engineering gloves and her armaments were fixed to her satisfaction.

"There finally complete!" She beamed, unaware at how disheveled she currently looked, a product at having worked almost non-stop since she got on board, making sure ever last circuit and piece of equipment was just how they should be, plus her own tinkering with, especially customizing her multi-launcher and skate shoes. The girl really didn't know when to quit. Her revelry was interrupted however when Rufus came bursting through the door.

"Qwirky get your butt in gear we're about to land on that wasteland of a planet." The werewolf yelled, much more loudly than he needed to causing Jeene to have to cover her ears. "Get out here now or I'll drag you out you grimy little human!" Rufus growled menacingly and Jeene instantly knew he was not joking around.

"Right, right be out in a second," she quickly put most of the equipment into capsule form and put on her special combat equipment.

"Tch, your kind of a second is too long, come here!" Rufus grabbed her roughly by the arm and towed her away before she could take any longer, thankfully most of the important stuff was ready to go.

A voice came over the ship as the two made their way toward the ship's landing ramp, located at the bottom, front of the ship. "Welcome to planet Beryl, home to various metals, wastelands, and various mining operations." The voice came from the pilot of the ship who would stay with the craft at all times. "The Berylians are quite a hardy bunch so I've heard. You should probably head toward the nearest city from our landing zone, Onyxtite, see if you can't get some information out of the locals, unless they've already been enslaved or something. Well I'm sure you crazies know what to do, hopefully I'll see all your ugly mugs, with a few exceptions, within a week."

The ship made its way through the atmosphere rather smoothly to avoid as much heat up and friction as possible to not give their position away as the ship headed toward what appeared to be a deserted valley. The location would lessen the chances of the Black Bird being spotted while the operatives investigated.

Jeene and Rufus made it to the loading ramp area just as the ship managed to touch down on firm ground. Rufus threw her aside, thankfully her reflexes saved her from a fall and crossed his arms menacingly. "Tch about time we landed this bird, I want to find these so called aliens and kick their sorry asses into the next galaxy."

Jeene sighed, Rufus could be a hard individual to deal with.
@Weird Tales Alright go ahead and put the character in the character tab.

@BCTheEntity As for Infer, looked over it and...aside from the fact you could use a space inbetween all those abilities for readability I think for a royal Acrosian seems like a good skill set. While many are powerful most of the big techniques are big Ki drainers so it somewhat balances out. Quite a bit of work put in, I'll accept the character.

Well that does it for now, guess I'll get this ball rolling in a few.
@Weird Tales

Alright well enough of this *claps hands*. Yes dragon ball can get bloody but even at those times when people are cut in half it is still rather clean, so to speak. So the blood attack is high temperature so why not just make it fire based, or perhaps something like oil if you want to keep it a liquid. Just change that bit somehow and I think I can find within my icy heart to let your character enter the roleplay.

Well now, at this point we should have enough people so we'll get started shortly.
@Weird Tales

The whole blood/gore attack was one of the major things that put me off about the character. The character concept seems more fit for something out of hell that really is not dragon ball's version of hell. Also the demon characters are not from the afterlife world but from the dimension only rarely explored in the original dragon ball with the gate, and mentioned with Dabura and Towa. Its not necessarily the powers (though I don't have a fondness for a 'gore' attack and think that should be changed regardless) or the personality, but the fact the character just seems so out of place. Maybe that's just my own view but it just doesn't click in my eye as a character belonging in the Dragon Ball Universe.

Might seem nitpicky but I can't let just anything get through. Feels like something from a different Universe being put into Dragon Ball or something.
Anyway, regarding the character in question, I was actually under the impression that all the PCs would start off either on or approaching the first planet of significance to the plot? I mean, if nothing else, maybe Infer could start off heading towards Earth to see if he can gather information from a relatively large source, if Earth actually has any possible relevant information for him that he couldn't get from a closer system than ours. I dunno, maybe it's somewhat common knowledge that Earth houses vaguely friendly demons, and he thinks one of them will have information about the situation from breaching into the physical universe at another location.

You are right by that impression, which is indeed what will be happening. I was just pointing out that obviously your character would not be part of the Earth Group sent to investigate meaning there might be little player interaction with your character at first. Which is by no means a bad thing, just I know some people can't stand it if they are not constantly able to interact with another player so it was more like a warning if anything else. No need to take a joy ride towards Earth first.
@BCTheEntity Fairy interesting idea and history of the Acrosian race. Essentially what it boils down to is their race has in effect lost their greatest warriors the Cold Family, meaning the remaining Acrosians are on a whole a lot less strong. After reading about the biosuits and everything we now know why Freiza was in fact, a 'princess' :P [Good Old Abridged]

I'll have to see the character for myself but as far as it goes the idea is sound and well thought out. Of course this character would not be part of the Earth group for obvious reasons at the start which does limit you quite a bit. Well we'll see.

@Weird Tales A minotaur that basically belches killer blood, if I was a human I wouldn't touch this guy with a ten foot-pole! Well the character is interesting I suppose but it seems like it doesn't fit the setting at all. From the skills alone it seems like this guy is quite powerful as well and while eventually that would not mean much for the start of a roleplay is a bit too much.
So what I can see here is a fairly even split on the issue, which is about what I expected. No doubt I could bring Saiyans and make it more balanced but the temptation to go all SS at inappropriate times would still be there. With this roleplay I felt it was time to pass on the torch to the other races and humans which is why the Saiyan extinction is in effect.

Now, I'm something of a fan of the Dragonball Online thing - where the Saiyans as a race are extinct, but the bloodline still exists within humanity, the only caveat being that it's extremely thinned out to the point where all humans can, with training, use ki efficiently, but only those with a high enough concentration of Saiyan blood could go Super Saiyan (though the term may very well be Super Human at that point.)

Yes, this is pretty much exactly what I had in mind. I played a little of Dragonball Online but never got very far cause of language barriers. Dragonball Xenoverse is essentially the child of that game but of course they had to include Saiyans as a playable custom race to make sure people played the game. XD

In any case I'm still thinking I'll stick to my original design of all the Saiyan blood only still being active in a small amount of the human population, which is as Saiyan as we're gonna get.

Alright, so I'm interested in this RP, if mildly apprehensive about joining. Before anything else, I'd say don't allow Saiyan characters, just in case somebody decides they want to start with SSj777 unlocked for a power increase that lets them annihilate planets just by being in their proximity... that's an extreme example, of course, but I assume you want to keep the actual power of the characters in this RP relatively low, and considering that a character with 0.0035% of a brand-new Super Saiyan's power (Frieza's 530,000 PL, compared to Goku's estimated 150,000,000) can casually destroy planets with presumably many times more mass than Earth in a single attack, it's safe to assume Saiyans are probably not needed or desirable.

Speaking of Frieza, I had an idea for a player race: Arcosians, a.k.a. that one race that fanon has pegged as Frieza's race. Obviously, Frieza and his close relatives would be mutants of absurd power compared to the average Arcosian; if you, the players and GM, would like me to go over my ideas for the Arcosian race in this RP, if indeed they would be allowed at all, just say so, and I'll write up what I had in mind tomorrow. Because it is really, really late for me at the time of writing this, and I don't want to mess it up by being sleep-deprived.

Arcosians, well can't hurt to say your peace. I used an Arcosian myself in a role play with quite a bit of success so I can see it being used, but we'll see.
