Desktop profile login won't work. Coincidence that Windows 7 is no longer supported on same day? Consider me doubtful.

I'm having way too much fun with my Legend of Zelda Encylopedia. This is the game that got me into roleplaying so have a lot invested in it's lore and stories. Too bad can't have all the games too.

PvP roleplays. These are some of the hardest kinds of roleplays to achieve success in, especially battle scenes. Now battle scenes between players are hard to do, especially if you stick to a post by post format[which I have always used] as you always have to be like "so I did this and then if it succeeds this will happen, etc". So there are a lot of decent people who make the battle kind of fun and what not[in these kinds I actually usually end up playing as the 'bad guy' so most of the time I'm suppose to kind of lose, which is fine with me], but then you meet those people...

You know a battle is suppose to have hits one both sides, the stakes are high and fists and weapons are flying all over the place, but you are fighting HIM, or her. That guys who despite supposedly being close to your level in skill, somehow makes every action and engagement go in their favor; soon you realize that only your own character has taken any real hits because you've been allowing damage to your character to make things fair; obviously, they aren't playing by the same rules.

No you CAN'T dodge or block everything! Whenever you are in a decent battle something should not go your character's way! Something! Anything! What in the world that was point blank range and still you managed to not get hit? HUH!? A hero should have trouble with his opponent not dominate them!

Anyway this is why I hardly ever do any PvP role plays anymore. PvE is a lot more manageable but even in those I still try to make my characters struggle through their battles.

Careful tho, the only doors that got shut right now are the ones to Sophia's room. Basicly, Asus opened all the doors, and then Abigail pushed a button on HER remote, only shutting the doors to Sophia's room. So the room where Lenny is beaten and the one where Yami is are still open right now.

Ya, I noticed which is why in my post Zypha gets a sneaking suspicion maybe not everything is quite over yet.

[Fake dialogue] "You guys did win your fights, right?"

Hears animals roars coming from Asus open door.

"Blast it Asus finish your job!"
Zypha breathed quite heavily, it had worked and now her shredded opponent was sprawled across the floor, unconscious. For a few seconds she was stuck in her defensive posture, unable to move until finally her body allowed her some movement. Getting up she went over to collect the chain and started the process of wrapping it around her body and then reattaching the ends to her scythe. "While I say a bunch of crap about you, I'll admit you were a decent opponent. Really had to think my way through this one. Ouch."

As Zypha looked at Lenny's body while she was finishing getting everything the adrenaline from the battle was starting to fade, meaning the pain was becoming much more obvious. Her muscles ached and her right leg was messed up pretty bad, she would be limping for the rest of the day at least. Using some of Lenny's marine uniform she bad a makeshift bandage to control the bleeding. "There'd better be some alcohol in here cause I need some antiseptic, good for drinking and as medicine."

After making sure she had everything and that Lenny was out cold for good, she considered killing him on the spot but, well in battle was one thing and he had put up a decent fight. In any case the villagers could decide his fate and there was no way he was going anywhere soon so she just left him as she limped toward the exit of that room and the entrance to the main room.

It appeared the other two had finished before her. "Well ain't ya two looking chipper." She commented with a bit of annoyance that she appeared to be the one with the most injuries out of the three. "Well let's get this done, we need to tell out the rest of the marines with the rest of the equipment here and then find where they've been keeping all the loot. Now if only we had a flag to raise over this box..."

Zypha couldn't help but ask though, as she had a sneaking suspicion that maybe not everything was completely over and done with. "You guys did win, right?"
Crew Score vs Marine Command: 1 Win, 1 KO, and 1 Steal.
Thankfully her gamble gave high rewards but Zypha was not about to let overconfidence get the better of her and as quickly as she could went back to get her scythes after her desperate maneuver. She considered reattaching the chains but it did not look like she had the time to do that as her opponent declared it was time to finish their fight. "I entirely agree, you've really overstayed your welcome."

Lenny decided to use one of his own bombs as a method of propulsion, meaning there was going to be no dodging his last technique that seemed remarkably similar to her own Death Lotus attack. Because she had such a similar skill she also knew the key weakness it inherently had. The technique depended on the momentum of the spin for its power, which also meant that both blades could only move in one direction. Now one could aim at two different heights of the body true, but even that was limited by arm length and weapon length so there was a slight window she could take advantage of, especially considering the fact Lenny was in the air and now incapable of changing direction.

Zypha crouched down on one knee, making herself both a smaller target and as a way to help cement her position for the incoming assault. Gritting her teeth she put one scythe, blade pointing up while making sure it rose above her head, in a position to block the circling daggers, her other scythe she rested in the notch of the previous scythe, blade pointed at the incoming Lenny who would be unable to stop himself from impaling himself on the blade with his current direction. She braced herself as much as she could, as the fight depended on if she could hold her ground or not, her entire body tensed up as much as possible in anticipation of the enormous impact that was about to happen only a split second after she got in position.

If her plan succeeded the next words out of her mouth were going to be, "I'll see you in hell, just not for a long time. I have quite a lot planned for myself after all."
Unfortunately for Zypha, Lenny managed to yank himself away and gain some distance. Zypha was not in any position to pursue after him right away. So she quickly took the chain off her right scythe and prepared for her next move. "All I got? Heh, not even close but looks like you ain't got much left." Her retort to his was a slight bluff, after all she was bleeding quite a bit from too locations and her leg had taken a nasty gash from his dagger, her mobility was certainly down which could prove to a problem but Lenny had to be hurting quite a bit now so she hoped that would make up the difference.

Zypha considered reattaching the chain to her scythe to increase her range again but what Lenny did next changed things completely. At first she thought he was reaching for another dagger but instead produced a small bomb. "Shit!" She thought when she saw the small bomb, as he started his throw to Zypha the world stood still for a moment. There are times in a fighter's life when the body instinctively knows its in great danger, even life threatening and so the mind goes into overdrive. When this happens it is like a slow-mo movie as the mind takes in so much information at an incredible rate, this was one of those moments.

The bomb had no fuse or pin, which meant it would explode upon the force of impact with something hard, while probably not as powerful as some bombs it would be quite fast and with one leg not exactly in prime condition anymore it was doubtful she could avoid the blast. Still, with this kind of bomb there was something she could do. It was very risky but had the potential to end this fight once and for all, a high risk, high reward situation, and she had the tools needed to pull it off.

Discarding her scythe she took the chain and doubled it over, and jumped toward the bomb, hands clamped around the doubled up chain length as she dove. The bomb sailed toward the ground but she reached it first, her chain ready to catch the bomb. This was the integral part, the point of impact had to have enough give so the bomb would not detonate on impact. She made sure to give her chain some slack and let the chain get pushed by the bomb to let the kinetic energy dissipate along it length as her body sailed over the bomb, her hands below so the bomb wouldn't accidentally hit her body while attempting to catch it.

As the chain would be catching the bomb her body was already starting to summersault so she could land on her feet and use her body's rotation to throw the hopefully caught, and non-detonated, explosive back at its user. If this gamble worked there was a good chance the fight would be at an end, if she failed though, there was a good chance she would be the one in a body bag after.
It wasn't complete immobilization but it was more than enough. Zypha made sure to keep the chain as taunt as possible to keep Lenny in place, this of course meant her right hand was preoccupied holding onto the scythe that was holding the chain. She also made sure to use her body as well to keep the chain in place, having it wrap around her body. Her right leg hurt as Lenny tried to wrench himself free and her wound in the front was starting to itch but there was no way she was letting the marine go.

The little bugger was no longer so smug now he was caught in her trap and desperately attacked her. A dagger to the neck was not in her game plans however, since Lenny attempted a stab rather than a thrust it gave her just enough time to use her left scythe's handle to block the blade. It was unfortunate but now both her blades and hands were preoccupied with keeping him in place and defending herself, still she had other methods of attack at her disposal. She pulled herself as close to Lenny as she could while being careful to keep his dagger at bay.

"Let's get a bit more intimate shall we?" With that declared she thrust her left knee into his solar plexus, planning to keep up the assault as long as she had him trapped. With some luck, and a lot of force, Lenny probably wouldn't be able to stand for too much longer.
Lenny had quick reflexes and managed to block her first attempt, once she bounced off the wall and came back however, Lenny was ready for her and attempted to slash at her chest. Considering he was coming straight at her though the attempt was as plain as day, using one her left scythe handle she deflected the dagger slash but it allowed Lenny to circle around her. Despite the change in position she did not stop moving as attacking with her scythe was not the only weapon at her disposal.

As she ran she kept her right scythe low and soon enough she found what she had been aiming for. The blade tip went into one of her deposited chain links, hooking it for her next move. Instantly she dove to the left, taking the chain with her to cut across Lenny's path. If Lenny did not catch on to her trap in time and stop his assault, her sudden change in direction would cause the knife to cut across her right leg instead of the back of her left knee. Despite the obvious pain she would use her honed body to tighten her grip on the chain and quickly move around the small pirate to tighten her makeshift metal noose, to immobilize him for the rest of the fight, trapped in the iron grip of her chain.

"You're right, that's why I adapt to my circumstances. If one way won't work make your own path to victory."
It was unfortunate when she started her Death Lotus that Lenny was just far enough away that when the small marine managed to block her attack she was unable to snag him in the chains. Lenny managed to get out of range, keeping his distance he started to go around her. What happened next was quite predictable.

Even during her spin Zypha was very careful to keep her attention fixed on her opponent, keeping watch of the slightest of movements. Sure enough she managed to see his hand move, indicating a dagger about to be thrown. The dagger flew out of his hand while he drew out a new one, the blade moving quickly toward her right knee. She lowered her inner scythe to match her knee height, the scythe itself missed the dagger and it seemed like it might reach its target, but the chain attached to the handle followed along, the dagger tip got caught in one of the links and was redirected away from her knee.

Danger averted Zypha stopped her spinning and came to a halt, watching as the small marine continued to run. It took her only a split second to regain her balance. "Ya know this is fun and all but this is gonna be boring if you're not gonna come to me again." Zypha started to mess with the handles of her scythe where the chain was attached. "So I think I'm just gonna have to get rid of some excess weight here so you can't get away again." With a few interesting twists to the bottom of her custom made handles, the long chain detached from the ends and clinked to the ground. It really was quite a long chain, a good 3 meters or so in length, which when not in combat could be found mostly tied around her waist and body, now the metal snake was sprawled on the ground, lifeless.

"Carrying around something like that is good exercise you know," Zypha continued, waving around her unburdened scythes in both hands, "you don't looks like you train all that much." Zypha lowered her body to the ground, her toned, muscular body allowing her to take even a seemingly unbalanced stance with no sign of stress. She smirked and then taunted the marine, "Ready?" before rocketing herself forward, body still low to the ground to reduce herself as a knife target as she sped after him.

She made sure to never directly charge at her target, always a bit to the side so she could easily slash at her target whenever she came close. Without the weight of the chains she was definitely faster than before and she intended to use her extra speed to finish the fight. Her first pass would be on Lenny's left so she prepared to lash out with her scythe, careful to keep one ready for defense if she needed to knock another dagger out of the way. Her first slash would be at his legs, if she missed she was prepared to bounce herself off a nearest wall and go for another pass to finish the job.
"He's fast, said Zypha's inner monologue as the marine quickly closed the gap and stepped right in front of her just before the scythe could return to her grip. Being so close to her it was impossible to block the attack with her other scythe so her only option was to jump backward. The dagger to get a nice clean cut on her left side, slicing through her flesh but her movement made sure the blade only grazed her rib cage. While she wanted hold her now aching front this was a battle and useless movements would prove fatal.

Instead of catching the scythe she let the blade fly past her and caught part of the chain, spun it around behind her to catch her opponent from the other side, this time aiming at his legs, hoping to snare him with the chain. To increase the momentum she started to spin around herself, keeping her other blade close to her body to slash at her opponent while she became a whirlwind of spinning death. "Only one going to die is you and your buddies. I'll let you see some Spiral Lotus action."

Zypha took her momentum to make a swirling dance of death as she advanced on Lenny after her leap backward. The Spiral Lotus was a fast and furious technique designed to catch the opponent off guard. The blade out on the chain would either slash or simply add weight to the chain in order to catch her opponent, allowing the inner scythe to make quick work of whoever was caught in the outer spiral. Could be a decent defensive move as well but was better suited for attack simply because it was not like she could keep up a mini tornado of blades for long.
