Desktop profile login won't work. Coincidence that Windows 7 is no longer supported on same day? Consider me doubtful.

I'm having way too much fun with my Legend of Zelda Encylopedia. This is the game that got me into roleplaying so have a lot invested in it's lore and stories. Too bad can't have all the games too.

All I said is that there is a percentage of her fans that follow her because shes an attractive girl, you've went 3 paragraphs to not disagree with me. And yes Justin Tredau is also someone who uses his sex appeal for popularity, what's your goddamn point? You think it's a 'gotcha' because he's left wing? I'm not Canadian. And don't you libertarian race realist types love weed too? Don't throw rocks in glass houses bud.

I believe the point was that attractiveness only works for so long without any real substance? Justin Trudeau is the prime minister and has a ton of backing but due to his utter lack of substance and competence, people are starting to abandon him by quite a large percentage. He recently went below 50% approval rating and more people now think he's on the wrong track. In contrast Lauren Southern at least has some backbone, I think most of her base has stuck with her since she keeps getting back in the game. The point is there is more to her than just some attractiveness holding up her somewhat high numbers.

Anyway I would prefer if you would not try to 'typecast' me. While I probably do have a lot in common with a libertarian I do think legalizing recreational weed is a horrible idea. I live, course not right now cause I'm in Europe, in a state that legalized recreational weed...it stinks and it sucks. Any businesses or housing that is near one of those dispensers instantly loses a lot of value because of all the pot smokers literally being a burden to society, as it becomes a less safe and sanitary place. I avoid such areas like the plague.
And what personality? Please market Lauren's personality to me in a way that would make want to listen to her if I didn't know what she looked like. You know for a fact her followers would be a fraction of what they are if she wasn't an attractive girl. Tell me why brittany pettibone is popular, I'm curious to see why you think she is? Her personality?

I don't think anyone here, for one minute, thinks that her looks did not help jump start her career and popularity. Of course appearance helps, a lot of popular youtube personalities are attractive people. The question is how has she managed to keep and then maintain such a huge following, it's because she has something to say and show that people want to hear about. The reasons I can think off hand, are her making fun of extreme PC culture, attempts at doing investigative journalism, and not being afraid of getting into potentially dangerous situations. Some of her most recent work I believe was in South Africa to try and cover the deadly farmer killings going on there.

Now I don't follow her and have seen only some of her stuff but it seems to me it's her plain speech and drive to get into the thick of things, despite what other people may think of her, that appeals to people. Has she made mistakes? Done some questionable things? Sure, most people have but she keeps going on with her work and has managed to get out some interesting material and stories.

I mean, if you want to go the physical attractiveness argument then you got our buddy Justin Trudeau up in Canada who is well loved because of his looks, nice guy attitude, and of course weed[never underestimate the power of weed :) ]. Nowadays he is one of the biggest jokes of the international community because of his bad policies and stupid mistakes like the now infamous 'peoplekind' joke. His substance is found completely wanting and a lot of people can't wait for him to go away. Lauren Southern has a stable fan base and while partially due to her general attractiveness is also largely due to her actual content, stances on issues, and willingness to attempt the controversial[but not illegal] to get certain points across. She went out of her way to legally become a man in Canada for instance, which is rather creepy how easy it was to do without changing anything about herself. Attractiveness helps but can only get you so far before people start abandoning them in the droves.

As for Brittany Pettibone...meh I don't have anything really to say as frankly she was barely even on my radar and was only reminded of her existence during this recent travel ban.
I said borderline terrorist, crowdfunding to hire a boat to block rescue ships because 4chan's pol board mentioned they may be engaging in illegal immigration, is pretty goddamn radical and the only reason it isnt strictly terrorist is because its in international waters. When these operations are funded by an organisation that wants to preserve the whiteness of europe at all costs (in their own words). It falls into racial extremist territory.

Ah yes the infamous[well not really since most people haven't heard about it] Defend Europe boat trip. They heard about how a bunch of NGO ships were illegally ferrying people to Italy from Africa. So basically they were like, let's see if we can track them down and record their misdeeds so they will be forced to stop. Once Patreon realized what they were doing they quickly went the defund route for it and Lauren Southern. Unfortunately the people running the Defend Europe were a little zealous and hinted they might intervene in illegal activities, instead of just documenting the activities themselves. There is pretty much no evidence however that they would do any actions that would actually put other people's lives in danger.

It was an interesting idea to be sure and I believe it went on for about 30 days or so before it had to stop. I don't think there is any real evidence that there were any 'terrorist' elements to the mission nor anything even illegal. Needless to say Patreon lost quite a bit of it's userbase after they defunded her.

And Radical Islamic Hate Preaching is a 'thought crime' but I didn't see any of you complaining when we banned those guys from entry.

Well you know guys preaching that Islam is destined to take over the world, infidels deserve to die, homosexuals need to be thrown off roofs, and generally every needs to convert to Islam or be beheaded is just a wee bit different from people concerned that native cultures are disappearing as massive waves of refugees are flooding into countries without proper vetting. Big difference between threatening death and actively inciting people to kill in Allah's name, and people who want to kick out immigrants after they see a huge rise in crimes such as rape in their cities being done mostly by the newcomers.

Also you know who in the UK are afraid to talk? Anyone who has a beef with their new islamic neighbors. When someone can be visited by police officers for just being critical of Islam, there is something very wrong coming on, especially in what should be a mostly secular society. The UK might be better at keeping out extremists these days but their policing of their country sure has become rather backwards. No wonder people like Tommy Robinson are so popular these days cause the government appears to be actively trying to protect Islam from criticism, among other things.

Might be part of the reason grooming gangs like in Telford have managed to operate for so long before getting shut down. People are too afraid of reporting that their 'asian' neighbors have been doing bad things because they'll be the ones punished instead for being 'hateful' towards them.
No that's a load of crap, she was doing far more distruptive things than handing out leaflets before and she was known to the police and they didnt kick her out. The turning point was the organisation she worked with. We also ban members of foriegn terrorist cells in pakistan, Hamas in Palestine and KKK Members. Lauren was just an annoying bitch when she was at the womens march.

It was her affiliation with Generation Identity, a pan european white nationalist organisation who has engaged in radical and illegal activities that put her on the 'extremist' radar. You can criticize this country all you want. The U.S. suffers terrorist attacks from muslims AND non muslims alike and your lax free speech policies dont seem to be doing a whole lot to prevent it, clean up your own damn house and tell your anti semites, white nationalists, KKK members, black nationalists, christian AND islamic religous extemists to stay at home in the U.S. and stay the fuck out of our country.

Hmm well I have never heard of Generation Identity until now so I can't say one way or the other how radical or illegal they are. The question did she stick with them when they went into the illegal territory or not? But since I don't have enough information to say, can't really say one way or the other, also I would like to know exactly what 'illegal' activities they did.

Yes there are problems in the US, but also consider just how much bigger we are, plus the actual rate of 'terrorist attacks' are really quite low despite what the media might try to make you believe. Anyway, I would say right back to you stop harping on the US getting their ducks in a row when in the UK, people are literally too afraid to talk, or do talk and are shut down because they were being 'hateful' toward someone else, allowing grooming gangs like the ones in Telford to do their work for so long.

The way I see it, the UK is going to keep dividing up its population at this rate with their attempts to police speech and there will come a time when the population says enough is enough and things will turn ugly fast. At least in the US the ugliness is on the surface for the most part so it's very easy to identify the loonies from the get go. Healthier to let it all out rather then keep it all in until it explodes into violence.

The US quite quickly got to see who the loonies were after having Antifa raging about destroying public property, their reputation is pretty much in shambles at this point except by hard lefties who are good at sticking their heads in the sand. Of course most the damage done could easily have been avoided if the police had just been allowed to do their jobs in the first place. At least for the most part we don't have the police arresting someone for teaching their dog how to be a 'nazi'...doesn't look like a verdict has happened yet but we'll see.

Instead we get a kid being suspended for not joining in a gun protest...absolutely disgusting. Yep, we got a lot of work to do to restore sanity to the US, that much I'll admit, ha ha ha!
Are you really STILL trying to promote the idea that they kicked her from the country for being a troll? Lauren has been to this country at least 3 times before and has trolled plenty, at brexit rallys, womens marches and student gatherings, it was how she launched her career. Why didnt the 'free speech police' kick her out on all of those occasions if we are SO afraid to hear edgy opinions?

Oh I don't know? Maybe because that was how she launched her career and did not garner as much attention back then? Once someone becomes well known then people tend to pay a lot more attention to what they do. Well let's face it, I can't peer into minds and find out the exact reasons why they did it but the methods they went about it doing it seem suspect.

She got kicked from the country because she's an extremist whos engaged in borderline terrorist activities with an white nationalist group. And THEY are the ones pushing the U.K. bans right wingers narrative. Take another look at the ban list and find me all the conservatives on there, while youre at it have a look which party currently runs the UK.

Na I'll pass, we're here discussing one particular incident, I'm not here arguing that all conservatives are being outright banned.
And of course we bring Ex ISIS fighters back to the UK, they can burn their passports in a little campfire all they want they are still British citizens who have committed British crimes so they are tried and convicted in their country. This country doesn't work on Brittany Pettibone's bullshit white nationalist standards, they may be mostly brown but they are civically part of this country so they are the UK's problem and they should be punished here.

You're acting like we literally 'let them back in to go free' dropping them in the nearest public park with a free hand grenade and an AK-47.

Pretty crappy? I guess that's the citizen's luxury of only getting to hear about attacks that are actually successful. Do you know how many terrorist attacks and plots have been stopped since the 7/7 London bus bombings? Probably not, because you only hear about the few that slip through and get to make the news. We have a problem with terrorism, so do the US, and going by Las Vegas and all your school shootings, its not strictly a Muslim problem either. So until one of these countries hires Professor Charles Xavier for their counter terror team, expect the prevention rate to NOT be 100%.

No one is saying that it will ever be possible to have a 100% prevention rate, that is just being setting up an impossible standard. Yes the British police have stopped many terrorist plots, congratulations, but I'm sure it would be a heck of a lot easier if they would just be more selective with who they let into the country. Well I will say I am happy that they are at least attempting to bring such people to justice. Also stop with the cracking down on literal 'trolls' and focus on the criminals that actually matter, freaken thought police.

We don't have total free speech in UK, don't like it? You don't have to live here. You can got to one of your lovely corners in America and get full unscensored free speech on your way to the store. We don't accept foreigners coming over here and preaching extremist nonsense.

Yep I don't have to live there and I am thankful I don't, sure you have to deal with morons every so often but easy enough to ignore them as long as they are not promoting actual violence against others through actual 'human' methods. I'd rather hear those views out in the open then know that simply expressing my views can land me in hot water, though admittedly the US is having people trying to trample those rights these days. I'll take my freedom over your speech police any day.

Now I know you really want to call the UK hypocrites and act like we only ban white conservatives. Have a look at our ban list and get back to me. Tell me what percentage are white and conservative. I'll wait.

Eh, never said they 'only' ban white conservatives. I did a quick check and I was happy to see quite a few extremist Muslims on the list. But this particular case seems like an overreach that was unneeded. I won't defend some of those youtubers' more questionable acts, but the fact is I can hardly see any real concrete evidence for why they would need to ban people who are there to do their little speeches and skits, and then leave. Forgive me for being way too proud of my 1st Amendment rights that the UK doesn't have.
HAHAHAHA oh my goodness...sorry but just look at this quote straight from the article.

"The irony is that the far right have long called for the British government to take firm control of our borders. Now they are doing just that."

Yep, irony and hypocrisy all rolled into one. It's sooo important for the UK government to ban 'camgirls' who are making a few speeches, passing out a few questionable leaflets, but ex-ISIS fighters are A-OK. People who say naughty things are prevented entry while people who actually killed others in the name of Islam are being put back into society, but no can't have visitors stay for a few days and make people think.

One thing I'll give the article at least is it admits. "Islamist and right-wing extremism is reaching into our communities through sophisticated propaganda and subversive strategies creating and exploiting vulnerabilities that can ultimately lead to acts of violence and terrorism,"

UK's prevention rate of Islamic extremism has been pretty crappy the last few years though so I say their actions speak a heck of a lot louder than their words. The UK government deserves every bit of criticism it gets, just as every government and political figure should be criticised by what they do. The UK government essentially are shooting themselves in the foot on this one, since it is painfully obvious they are trying to silence opinions, which only makes people more suspicious of them and more people now will be interested in what those banned people had to say.

Well, as interesting a story as it is, the story I'm more interested in right now is how South African farmers are at such great risks these days Australia is considering giving them emergency visas. South Africa is going completely nuts these days as the government has opened the doors to allowing them to take South African farmers land without compensation, not to mention the large amount of murders going on as well.

South Africa is a place to keep a weary eye on as things keep getting more unstable.
So apparently this is a thing. Recent push for the 51st state of New California. Fun stuff. New California Declares Independence From Rest Of State.
Well the holidays are over now, but now that I've had time to think about it, I think it's time for me to take a break from role plays altogether for a while. There are quite a few things that I need to spend my time on more than thinking of how to write my next post. Quite a few projects and work related things I would be better off concentrating on.

@vancexentan
Sorry it took me this long to realize but at least I didn't get very far into it. Best of luck!
