@boomlover it's ok
I realize that I may be nitpicking here, and if I am, I'm sorry. If anyone else has something they'd like to contribute regarding these characters or anything else, I pass the conch shell to you :)
@voteforpandaa I like her, but there are few things that I'm unsettled about. At age 21, I don't think her skill level with a sword would be master. It would've taken 10 years to complete her training, fine. But to have mastered it, I don't think that's possible. I think of this like Ken ND Ryu, from street fighter. They both trained from a young age. They completed their training in their early 20's. But they were no where near their masters level. She's still very young, inexperienced in actual battle, she's a master of nothing at this point. Any soldier will tell you that unless you've actually fought in the battles, you don't have any real experience.

I like the balance you provided in her magic abilities, without the sword, she is just your regular swordsman. But at the same time, it doesn't quite make sense. How cumbersome is it to lift a heavy object with a sword in your hand? Not to mention, if magic was passed through her family line, shouldn't she be able to conjure and use it without the use of the sword? Or is just the elemental magic passed down through her family?

As it stands currently, she is a magic user and a fighter, who is proficient in both. She's ignored the magic passed down to her by her family to focus more on her swordsman ship because the 'body manipulation' magic was more important?

I think it would make a better character if the sword was enchanted to make the user stronger and faster, instead of that being a particular skill of magic for her. I feel like you've given her way too much power. you want her to be a mage, who unlike most mages, have high strength, and she is a swordsman who is of master skill. All of this, and she's only 21. Perhaps in a different realm, but this does not fit what I am looking for in this rp.

@Jon Y the wars were fought internally. Which makes me sorta take back what I said earlier, because I'm pretty sure what I had originally wrote was that Silver Lily Isle was made of Lords and high mages. Mages wanted to rule, and hence the war. You could find most details either in the first post of the ooc or first post of the ic. So they weren't invaded. But most of the smaller towns had been wiped out, leaving most of the island to settle within or around waeldeshore. If you would like, since your character is supposed to be from a neighboring town, I wouldn't mind you building up that lore at all. I'm sorry if I'm no help on this at the moment. I had a horrible day yesterday and didn't sleep well. After reading what you have there now, I'd say he's great!
@Jon Y so I'd like to iron out a few details with you. Currently, the gentleman who has the title of 'Captain of the Guard' in Waeldeshore is Davik Mitchell, played by myself as sort of a filler to help the story along. I'm not sure if the Lord-Marshal (mayor?) of Waeldeshore would be the type to kiss his officers on the cheek. In the time line, the war was about 5 years ago from this point in our story. As written, there are no 'nobles' within the town and Waeldeshore was the most established place through out the island. Which is what kept it so strong during the war and in years after.

I have no problems if people were to integrate their story and make a canon character, building on the lore that I presented. I also love the idea of having a guard within the group. But we're going to have to tweak your character a bit for him to be playable.
@Jon Y while I have no idea what a pleb is, we'd be happy to have you. :)

Rules and cs are noted on the first page of the ooc, I'm asking for a minimum of 200 words per post. As for your character, I'm looking for someone who makes sense and can contribute in our plot/setting. If you have any questions, myself an anyone here would be happy to help you.

Note to all: So I've recently started a new job which is a bit demanding of my time. Mon-Friday, 9a-6p. I get a break early afternoon each day, and that would pretty much be the only time during this frame that I'd be able to reply to anything. I'm hoping that the rp won't suffer too much, and I will certainly be around when I can to help anyone out and keep the story going. :)

Our current line up is as follows:
@The Harbinger of Ferocity as "The Red
@Dragoknighte as Durin and Kayleigh
@The Fated Fallen as Tirarrian
@boomlover as Robert
@Belwicket as Regina
@KazeXDZ as Siegfried
:) sleepy time. Happy dreams ya'll.
She was in her own world that morning, drifting in and out of focus, letting the clutter of words and early morning sounds pass right through her. Even when Siegfried spoke to her, it wasn't until a few moments later that she even realized there were others in her company.

Her body wasn't as sore anyone. The injuries from her previous battle had healed up just fine, just as Kayleth said. She had been leaning on the side of the building, just taking in the morning, a hot cup of something firmly planted between her hands.

"Hmm?" She started towards the man who had spoke up "Oh, right. I can't say that I know him much better than you, honestly. I have seen him swing a sword... but I'm sure he should be around soon."

Her gaze moved to the tavern door, hoping someone would emerge soon. She quickly took down the rest of her beverage, putting the mug on the window ledge not far from her when she had finally sucked it all down.

Her outfits didn't change much day to day, but she did carry with her a large overcoat for the journey. The overcoat itself was a beautiful chestnut brown, with dark green threading and trim. The inside was lined with a fine fox fur of gold the shade of sunlight. The hood, also lined in fur, was big enough to shield her from any storm.

She loosed a breath and looked over at Siegfried finally. From her stance, the morning sun seemed to bounce off the strands of auburn hair that danced over her nose, and catch the gold in her eyes. "Should I see what's keeping them?"

Because he's the only one that has met everyone else before :p on break, at work. Probably won't get to respond or put up anything worth while until later
So, I apologize for the content or lack thereof in my latest post. I ended up being a lot more tired than I thought I'd be once I actually got around to writing something up. I hope everyone is OK with the direction I went in. I left it open enough, or tries to anyway, that when we pick back up, we could either get right into that journey up the mountain, or to that moment when Robert is informing every one. Where ever you guys feel comfortable in starting.

Again, @KazeXDZ I do want to apologize for highjacking your character and moving away from the bounty quest with the basilisk. When you two entered the story, we were/are still in the plot of saving the town that was just attacked by the demons. If your characters were natives to the town, or depending on how long theyve been in Waeldeshore, they'd know the history on the war and more or less whats going on currently.

This is an adventure rp (sort of) and I will be guiding the plot along (at least trying to :p ), so there won't be much time for your characters to go off and do their own things, outside of any crucial character development that is.

But if I missed anything in my post, or you think something should be changed, let me know.
Izzy and Regina certainly found their way to the tavern soon enough.

It could be said to be the most distinctive tavern, between the fact that it stood unharmed by the current events of the town and it's extraordinary run of the mill tavern smells and sounds. A tattered sign hung above the door, which read "The Crazy Cat Inn", and everything about it suggested just that.

The two gentleman continued to meander by the smithy for a short time after the ladies left. Competent and capable were they both, but it was decided that it would be best to wait for the others before they ventured outside of town.
Robert had shared with Siegfried the details of the quest the old man had imparted on him before disappearing into the crowd. He even spoke about his brief experience with the demon they all fought in the tavern.

Bounty or not, it would not be prudent to waste resources and time on the Basilisk. So rather it was decided, when all awoke and were ready, Robert and Siegfried would recruit the others to join them for their quest in the mountains.

Waeldeshore was nearly destroyed by the last attack. Only some miracle would help them now. The deadly trek up the mountains, the dangers lurking within the mountain caverns, could either prove to be their salvation or their doom.
