@Alarei - I do agree that it's brain food for sure. I appreciate the different perspective on life and existence, but like I said, I still find the logic to be ridiculous lol. Just like last episode, Marty put it perfectly: "For a guy who doesn't care about existence, you sure do worry about it a lot" XDD. Rust is super interesting though and I just fear that without the duo of these two leads, next season will be weaker and not as entertaining because you're right, I couldn't care less about the murder backdrop. That's just standard fare to me as I've seen too many shows about twisted murderers.

Thank the lord for custom avatars again T___T. Glad you said something Alarei haha. Also, True Detective... My god, it's so good. I'm just pissed that with it being an anthology series, we're gonna get a new cast next season. I usually don't like Matt McCon, but he's been pretty fucking good in this series. My favorite character is Rust by far(even if his idealism is utterly stupid in my opinion XDD).

So then, this is moving at a pretty good pace to begin with. Only a few more posters to go and I'll be moving us right along.

This is wonderful, I'm so excited. Sorry for being a little inactive in the OOC but I'll have my first post up either by Thursday or Friday. I've been a little busy towards the end of this month, but I should be pretty much free for most of February (aside from work) so I'll hit my stride and be more active!(True Detective is an absolutely fantastic show, by the way.)Also, from what I've gathered of what you envision this futuristic Chicago to be, it reminds me a lot of Bladerunners - just without the androids. Unless there are andrioids, which is cool.

Two things;

One, you like True Detective as do I. We are now best friends. Two, Bladerunner was awesome, but it's more an amalgamation of stuff like Bladerunner, Deus Ex, etc.

Yep. Suffice it to say, I expect you guys to get a real Matrix like feeling when we hit the first Erasure. Speaking of, that's not too long off as I want to get to that immediately so you guys can see what goes into it and start planning accordingly.

Actually, each branch operates the same way; receive orders on target, capture them, perform an Erasure. The reason there are multiple branches is because Chicago is now so massive that it requires it. One single branch can't handle the entire city.

We'll be delving into the specifics of Erasure itself when we get to the first target. Then you'll understand how your characters can specialize in certain tactics and what have you because if I explain it here, it will be a LOT of exposition.
