What fun would life be if everything went as planned?
Huh...

???: *appears, and looks at mierno*
Figures, hes still asleep.
- hey, your that guy mierno made contact with on my laptop. Mind telling me why you placed files on a privately owned piece of equipment that doesnt belong to you?
???: because it was necessary.
-how so?
???: its simple. I was sending you a warning. A message to pass along to your group.
- ok, what kind of message?
???: itll be best if i show you.
*shinji's laptop flys into my hands, and i type at a nearly blinding speed*
I was hoping that you wouldve figured out the sequences on your own, but you were too busy parading around for the EDB, and i had to rely on mr. Bossy over there. He couldnt even solve it. Then again, im using encryption methods far to advanced for most of you, due to the fact that they had been developed long after you both were dead in my universes, which wouldve been 5 years ago. Our universes were completely identical up until that point, or so i had belived. I couldnt figure out why ours had fell into dismay, until i saw why the universe itself had collapsed. I took a look into why it had happened, and noticed several things that didnt make sense. For example, since our universes were litterally right next to each other, i thought our time scales were the same. After some experiments and some studying, i had come to find that ours was exactly 5 earth years ahead of yours. All of your cureent disasters had happened 5 years ago in our universe.
- and?
???: what i am saying is, whatever caticlysmic event that struck our universe, devouring planet after planet, sytem after system, then galaxy after galaxy, could very well happen here as well, if it already hasnt started.
- ..... huh. Thats bad.
???: very bad.
- im sorry, i never caught your name.
???: you can call this unit Raven.
- ...huh. okay. Now, what was involved in this cataclysmic event?
Raven: A man like this appeared three months before it all ended.
*shows you the laptop*

It can be fixed. Data is just data; the important thing is that nothing irreplaceable was lost or hurt.
<Snipped quote by Ignacious>
One of our servers crashed and it messed up a genetic algorithm we were running. We have parts saved, but the bulky part needs to be redone.

*Gets a notification on my watch and checks it*
Oh, dang it. That's frustrating; I may have to go.
<Snipped quote by Ignacious>
It doesn't look good, but it works really well because I can hack together small solutions. And it's not really a big deal. I have projects anyway.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>
It's not worth it, bro.
<Snipped quote by Ignacious>
That I am!
A restart prompt popped up as I was working on my game. For whatever reason, it decided to assign itself as the dominant window and appeared at the exact moment I hit enter to move to a new line. The computer restarted without giving me an opportunity to cancel and I lost several hours of work. Needless to say, I feel like breaking something and/or passing out in sadness.

My code is quick, dirty, and efficient, but it's hard for others to read.
<Snipped quote by Ignacious>
I mean, sure. He might not like my code, but I'd be willing to help in any way I can.
<Snipped quote by Ignacious>
Wait... you're an android?
Alan: look a little closer.
-...?
<Snipped quote by Ignacious>
ooooh.
Cool.
