I was actually thinking we should have done a scripted tutorial battle a long time ago to give people a more hands on look at how a battle goes and what not to do. I thought of a character for this just yesterday who's called My-Te Star. My-Te's weapon of choice is the "all powerful" vibrosword. His power is immortality so he can always come back from his last lethal mistake, only to make another one.

Well, souls are already dead.

So he'd treat them both to equal destruction, then?

Anyways, I have it back where the girl's body does still have her original soul mostly in charge, but other jury members can also be put into her body to gain control if she gets herself killed for the time being or they could add on abilities. The body isn't undead, being completely alive again whenever she's revived.
So the what your saying is, if the Reapers win, theirs a huge soul buffet for the waiting! >=D

Also on another topic, I think Souls would replenish naturally even if devoured and destroyed elsewhere in the multiverse. :K

The swords hiding within the sword are immune to soul stealing, as is the sword itself. However, they can still be drained of energy and turn dormant until they can recharge, so this would lead to a lot of energy to steal. The souls can be male or female even though the body is female. Wonder how that would factor in to his gentlemanly antics?
I just thought of a new quirk to my character. Although the body remains the same, there could be twelve souls stored in the sword that can inhabit it. This is represented by her body being the executioner, the sword being the judge, and the 12 souls being the jury. The souls will be able to recharge themselves after being defeated and hiding back in the sword. However, they can't recharge in a single battle. A new soul could only enter her body if the sword is stabbed into the corpse, so as long as you can avoid that she won't keep coming back for you.
I read Tordor and will move down to Itsuki, then go to my own sheet once I get a feel for a fair power level. Tordor not wanting to harm girls may be detrimental if it ends up him versus me.
It's highly likely he didn't see this, as I only saw it through luck.
It depends on how their illusions work if it would make it impossible for me or not, depending on the character. If they have area of attacks for cheap energy cost they can spam that onto every illusion and hope it's the right one, but if not and they get swarmed by a bunch of illusions and the real one, managing to focus on the real one and defeat them out of the entire group would seem meta gaming so they'd need a way to focus on every illusion coming at them at once.
@ImportantNobody, wait... why not?

Why not fight a character who specializes in illusions with a character who can't detect them and I wouldn't meta game them? That would be...problematic.
I'm going to finish up my character sheet today if at all possible. It could happen before lunch unless I get stuck on certain powers.
The thing is, all you have to do is couple your deadly surprise attack with a bunch of other movements as a smoke screen and it becomes incredibly difficult to avoid. It's why an illusionist would be such a powerful character, though not many people bother with it, I've been toying with a mana-addicted illusionist for a while since mentioning it in the FAQ thread.

I wouldn't fight it in a ranked fight without "spider sense" but I would consider it in unranked.
