It actually becomes easier to compare higher level opponents due to much more numbers being needed to increase to get twice as powerful. For example, lets say you have someone who can beat an army of 500 base value of 1 humans. Someone twice as strong as this 500 person would need to be at 1,000, so you have a good grasp of how powerful the two are among one another if you stay within a thousand or so points. You could imagine someone with 750 points being as strong as the 500 plus 50% more power pretty easily. If you see a big difference then you can easily just have them get crushed and not worry too much about how badly they'd get crushed. Having a 1 pointer up against a 500 or a 1,000 would end the same so it doesn't really matter at that point unless they bring a whole lot of friends.

Most characters taking part in fighting would be much higher than 1, but if there was an army of 50 pointers then you can easily determine that the 500 should be able to fight 10 of them and the 1,000 should fight 20. Upsets do happen but they came up with some sort of a scale to try and better judge the outcome of fights.
Dude, I math a lot with my mythos. But you're mathing way too hard.

It's important to stay consistent with their powers or else they all of a sudden become horribly weaker or stronger without me knowing it and for no reason. One day they toss a skyscrapper and the next a sheet of graphene and inch thick stops them. Can they have enough power to be stopped by that? Who knows if I don't do calculations.

EDIT: Although I think the power level was one or two powers of 10 above graphene's tensile strength, but you get the point.

It falls apart at the seams at the first instance on the small scale.

I can lift 100 pounds, for example, you can lift 200. That doesn't make you stronger than me + another, that makes you stronger than me times two.

The scale takes the average, eliminating that issue completely. The value of a standard person is a set one in their calculations, so I would be a 2 and you would be a 1 if you are the standard value for 1, and if being twice as strong does indeed make me twice as "powerful", meaning I could take on two of you because of this.

I'm wondering about "tier levels" a bit in my multiverse. If the main characters are in a tier a million times more powerful than a normal person, that likely doesn't translate into a million times higher stats. For example on small scale, if someone is twice as powerful as someone else, I believe they should be able to defeat more than two people given the same skill level, or do you think twice as high stats should almost exactly equal two people? Or even be worse than two people? And does this analogy completely fall apart the higher you go no matter what option you think it would be? Someone does comment in universe about how it's impossible to imagine the difference in power between the elite and the common folk, after all, but I'm trying to get a better general idea of their physical characteristics being a million times more powerful than normal humans.

To destroy a planet, a million times higher stats wouldn't cut it, only around the level of tossing around the empire state building at that level. However, if one had the strength to lift the empire state building, how much force would that equate to a punch in the ground? Would that, in fact, demolish a city, which is around the power level I imagine the main characters of their tier?

Any thoughts on this? Also, how would the Dreamers fall into this scale? 1 million times? 1 billion times?

EDIT: I calculated the PSI of such a punch (1 million times stronger than average boxers) as 6.894745e+12, which, according to this chart, places it as the pressure of the national ignition facility fusion reactor. It's two orders of magnitude weaker than the weakest nuclear bomb mentioned in the list but could obliterate graphene, the strongest material.
Posted. Sorry again that it's late and if it sucks. At least I'm feeling better now and it's friday.
The force placed on her blade as it slide across his shifted off to the side as the enemy's point turned away, sending the hilt of the weapon forward in a blur of movement. Listia tried dodging the moment she was able, but it all happened so fast that the attack still managed to strike her on the left side of her neck as she tried jerking her head off to the right. On the bright side this stopped him from crushing her windpipe head on, resulting in more of a glancing blow instead, but she did not escape unscathed. Her magical shield was destroyed and a nasty bruise formed on the point of impact as a result of the remaining force that got through, which was still incredibly painful although luckily was not able to penetrate into her body to reach the major blood vessels. Had it been a sword point it would have spelled the end of her, but she had no time to count her blessings.

The blunt force directed on one side of her sent her spinning counterclockwise for one full rotation while still moving forward and to the right of her opponent, this spin naturally breaking her sword out of the lock and trailing behind her with her extended left arm the only one maintaining her grip, the right hand forced away. Her right foot had been spinning on it's heel for a brief moment, the one which she had happened to have been stepping with upon the moment of impact, while her left slammed down to try and stop her spin about halfway through, bending the foot inward at the ankle from the force. Her right leg swung around and took a large step forward at the end of the spin when she was yet again facing the direction she had started in, only she was almost directing behind and to the left of her opponent, from his perspective unless he had moved during this short blip in time.

She grimaced in pain but couldn't let that stop her from delivering justice. As long as she still lived he would not get away with such acts! Her right foot had planted down firmly but she still had a fair bit of momentum going. Risking her falling down, she twisted her hips to continue rotating in the same direction she had been sent, her right hand balled up into a fist to clock him on the back of his head. She would have rather used her sword but it was still rotating away from him in her left hand, so she would first have to get ride of all this momentum before bringing her sword back into play.
Sorry about the wait. I haven't really been in the mood lately and forgot I had this fight going. I'm trying to get something typed up but I can't seem to focus on it. It's been two hours.

EDIT: I think I have to put it off until tomorrow.

EDIT: Hopefully inspiration will hit me while at work.
You need me to be the random bystander who runs in and gets killed off within the first couple of posts.
Maybe this time it will go better than last time when someone tried to kill my horse by throwing a dagger at it's head.

I need to join as a professional dagger throwing assassin with a grudge against horse skulls. XD

If IN is in this I don't see him playing a Knight, perhaps an archer.

I only have one character planned who specializes in archery. Men-at-arms seems the most up my ally. I suppose they can have an arming or longsword in addition to their pole-arm. Maybe, just maybe, they will have a better survival instinct than my current characters and try to keep them at bay from a distance with his spear-point.

I'll join this if you guys really need me, but right now I need to focus on getting a post out for the other team battle I'm in that I forgot about.

I think you should ask Rilla, and here's the reference: Here.

That's the first I heard of Lisa but she's showing up a lot recently to try and kill Rilla or something. Which is why she must be allied with you as part of the reapers. However, you will still get eaten and your powers absorbed with or without Lisa's help. It is your destiny as a reaper.

Well, I had to get Lisa to do my dirty work for me some how!

Who's this Lisa person? Another minion of the Reaper?
