but I guess that will work itself as this arc continues.

That's one reason why I wanted a shorter, more simple arc to start things off so we could work out some bugs and see problems to weed out before we go on longer, serious adventures that will hopefully be better. We've already learned some things to work on so that's good.

I have my days off coming tomorrow and the next day rather than the weekend, so will use the time to catch up reading and maybe post as the dragon again unless my substitute is super into it. XD
Chasing after the spy at that point turns into too much trouble.

Maybe if the criminals had epic deaths rather than dark ones. While delivering a clever pun.
Okay.
So, what happens?

Who wins and stuff?
I don't think the criminals should win. The object should be in different hands by the end, I think.

The spy wins and the agents sort of let him slip away due to circumstances.
Yes.
Having read the recent IC posts, I see we're going with the stealth dragon approach and not this just being the first appearance as seen from the inn. XD

Fine, I'll embrace the stealth dragon and turn that into a canon dragon type to cover this slip up of mine. This will be a hard enemy to fight in the future.

I sent a pm to scrapula, so feel free to post any time as the dragon to keep things going at the current pace. For some reason my computer keeps doing these long updates and failure configuring a that take it hours. I could have still done a post on my phone, but I like the scrapula plan.
You mentioned not being able to post as quickly as we were the other night. If I may, I'd like to give a bit of advice on how to speed things up for you. Simplicity is beautiful - don't try to pack responses to ten posts into a single megapost. Since the action has arrived, shorter posts will move the plot faster.

That would require me to be on the forum for longer stretches of time to reply to all the post coming in (and any coming in the afternoon wouldn't get around to until tomorrow morning anyways), so the megapost would be the easiest for me to do. Since you guys are a fast posting bunch and me only like twice or three times a week normally, if you guys think it will slow everyone down, I am perfectly willing to have another game master help out if they desire to do posts as the dragon.
I'll get my post out tomorrow morning due to working afternoons.
The dragon taking a couple minutes more than the man is what took so long. The exposition was replaced by what the witch said, who took his job after you guys Killed him.

I did my post from the perspective of the barkeep first seeing it and it's first roar. There's nothing that would imply he stealthily warped past other people who might have seen him first, unless you mean he should have been stopped to fight them before he got to the clearing, thus interrupting my last part of the post.
I'm wanting to be the criminals, I guess.

I was thinking maybe the criminals have three people, but the spies and the police have better equipment and more training.

The criminals might have the object that the other two are trying to retrieve?

Yes. Maybe one spy, two agents, and three criminals are all balanced against each other.

Thank you!

Don't really mind which option you go with, pick whichever one you'd rather try.

I think I've nailed down what kind of character I'm going to use: I'll bring someone who can take things into melee range, because that'd make the fight a lot more exciting than just me running away and shooting at her :P That said, of the three I'm debating between, each has very different methods and power level... still, I already have complete sheets for all three, and if you can nail down exactly how you want Invincible Girl's abilities to work, I should be able to figure out which of my candidates is the best fit.

I'll go with idea #2. She was created in a top secret bunker that got destroyed in an attack that wiped out 1/4th of the planet. The scientists stayed at the lab to finish her up rather than escape in their supersonic jet. She was the only survivor at the center of the blast radius, curled up unharmed in a ball, so obviously aroused suspicion that she was behind it. 100 years later and she still looks the same as ever and has since been released from her sentence, although thought that her way of living was normal so isn't all insane or depressed as most people would be from such a prolonged stay in captivity (plus she couldn't be harmed anyways and was treated decently most of her time). She has been sent on missions that would kill normal humans, such as recover people trapped in a pool of acid spit out by a monster and whatnot. She's not good for chasing after and obliterating monsters with brute force, so is mainly a supporting role that kills monsters who don't know she's invincible and draw too close, destroying themselves against her. Because when she wins she simply tanks attacks and kills them with minimal movement, people assume she's outrageously OP in all regards so doesn't even have to bother chasing them down to win, or they aren't worth her effort.

She would struggle to lift around 10,000 pounds, which means that she couldn't lift heavy elephants.
