Well, i believe that is just the average human reaction speed you are talking about. A trained fighter might be able to react at speeds twice as fast; not he would need to, as he can simply throw off the gunners aim beforehand, moving in zigzags and rolling between cover. There is no need to react to the shot if you use preventive measures that simply don't let them lock their aim on you.

Even at 10x the reaction time, it is still an instant hit. You also can only throw off the gunners aim if they are incompetent. I don't like relying on that to balance my combat. If necessary, I will demonstrate at that range why they are completely unfair at this tier.
Innue, I am not going to argue. I simply will withdraw. It's you're tournament I respect your decision.

Thank you for letting me know.
Considering that it is quite probably someone could start about 50 feet away in their match...

Bullets can move at 3000 fps. At that range someone would have .0166666666666 seconds to react. Even with augmented reaction times and speed, it would be near impossible for anyone to pose a threat to even a remotely competent gun user. At 250 feet per second you get .2 seconds to react at 50 feet. Even then that is an a challenging threat to deal with.

Adding in the fact that guns require no initial preparation and can expend multiple rounds in fractions of a second, I'm being quite generous here.
I stated days ago that projectiles would be limited due to the effectiveness of guns at this tier. This was my caveat to adding guns to this Arena.

Even with augmented (vaguely) reaction times and speed, at even half of many standard weapon speeds of that class they are far too effective. Given that an arrow is already hard to deal with at mid range for most opponents, 250 fps is perfectly appropriate.
@Skallagrim Offensive power is preserved in terms of destructive force. It is just an adjustment to speed.

You can negotiate a higher speed, but an arrow operates just fine at 253 fps.
Different everywhere.

I know some places the t's are power level. Some it is the above.

Interrupts aren't only for spells, and are sometimes called Counters. basically its taking advantage of a situation such as "I attack you with a million punches then a roundhouse kick." An interrupt would come in between any of those punches and would cancel the rest of the attack.

I wasn't particularly aware people did anything other than that then. I generally subscribe to the theory if you made more than one 'action' in a post you've probably made a mistake.

And yes, for me the Ts are power level.
Skally is referring to fight style. Preps, interrupts, etc.

T1 means something entirely different to me.

The preparation should be generally baked into the spell. Interrupt-ability would depend on the complexity of the spell (which should also be baked into it in descriptions).

I'm not sure if that answers the question. It is easier for me to specifically address questions on what boundaries and restrictions people are asking about than trying to put it into the T system RPG uses.
@innue Done renamed it Demonic Binding"

I'll let Tuuj review it since he was the one that initially reviewed it.
Mine tries.

She catches hell for it. Hahah.

Mine likes to be a condescending prick too often and something about how he does it just bothers me.
@Bartimaeus

This will depend on the behavior of the spell. Most magic will require some form of preparation, not necessarily announcement. You are free to use magic however you feel is appropriate.

While Tuujaimaa is still working on his character, his would be a good example to follow in terms of a spellcasting type character.

To clarify are we fighting T1? If we are everyone knows and understands them?

Can you clarify? I thought Powered was Tier 2 now?
