Really, I'm positive that most human beings are relatively intelligent and civilized and are capable of handling undesirable information/conversations decently. It's the small percentage of people that cannot contain themselves when slightly upset that ruin it for the rest of us. I have a very simple policy when it comes to my speech and how I conduct my behavior:
I do what I want and I say what I want.
When people are so weak that words can hurt them, then they are too weak for their opinions to matter. Regardless of topic or subject matter, I don't hold anything back regardless of possible offenses. Sane people don't get bothered by what I say, so I don't worry about it.
It's a really good policy. Works quite well for me. I recommend it to everyone. 10/10
