Shiranui took the new path, beating a pesky Weezing along the way.
"Hmmm…" Shiranui examined the statue closely and found a switch, which he pressed.
"Probably because the project was secret and most definitely illegal," replied Shiranui, "Do you reckon this Mewtwo took the Mega Stones with it?"
I'm inclined to agree with that logic. Sure.
"They actually tried to clone a legendary Pokémon and make it better?!" Shiranui exclaimed, "Wait, could that statue be this Mewtwo they created?"
Shiranui found out why the place smelled so bad when he had Jean take a Koffing out. He soon found a statue that looked like nothing he had ever seen before. It looked like the legendary Mew but bigger and mutated. "What in the world are you?" he asked to himself out loud.
That made Shiranui curious. "I wonder what they tried," he replied as he entered and caught a rather nasty whiff.
Shiranui nodded and soon found the mansion.
"Thanks for reminding me," replied Shiranui, "I forgot about my Helix Fossil."
Shiranui nodded and after disembarking and giving his Pokémon a check-up at the Pokémon Centre, he waited outside.
