"Thanks, Mr. Coleman," said Shiranui, "That was a close one."
"You put up a good fight yourself, Liam," replied Shiranui as he recalled a smiling Saisei and prepared for the downside of reaching the top: being mobbed.
The dust gradually cleared and it was revealed that Saisei used Protect to dodge the explosion. "Mew is unable to battle!" ruled the official, "The winner of the Kanto Pokémon League Championship is Shiranui Tsukiko of Ecruteak City!"
All the copies vanished and Saisei was hit. Shiranui knew how much of a toll the attack had on Mew's power. "Saisei, Fire Blast!" The Mega Mewtwo Y conjured a bright purple flame and fired it at Mew. The flamed formed into a 大 shape as it headed for Mew.
"Saisei, Double Team!" The Mega Mewtwo Y made several copies and the Shadow Ball made one of them vanish.
"Counter with Shadow Ball!" Saisei fired a Shadow Ball at the incoming beam, intending to overpower it.
