Shiranui spotted something on Liam's map. "Looks like we'll be passing some place known as the Baa de Mer Ranch," stated Shiranui.
Shiranui left after having his Pokémon healed and joined Ryan in making his way for Coumarine City.
Shiranui soon joined Ryan in the Pokémon Centre.
Shiranui stepped up after Korrina healed her Pokémon. After the referee stated the rules, Korrina sprung into action. "Machoke, you're up!"
"Yoto, I choose you!" Shiranui pulled Yoto out of his sheath and threw the Honedge into the battlefield as Machoke made an appearance.
"Machoke, Foresight!"
"Yoto, Iron Defense!" Machoke's eyes glowed a red colour as Yoto was identified. Yoto's blade got even harder, sharply raising the Honedge's Defense stat.
"You didn't think I wouldn't have a strategy for Ghost-types, did you?" asked Korrina rhetorically, "Machoke, Vital Throw!"
"Yoto, Aerial Ace!" The Honedge flew at Machoke and struck an unavoidable hit. Machoke grabbed Yoto and threw him away, landing a super effective hit.
"Machoke, Vital Throw once more!"
"Yoto, return; Honoh, I choose you!" Yoto came back to Shiranui, who sheathed the Honedge before sending his Fletchinder out. Machoke threw Honoh for little damage.
"Machoke, Dual Chop!"
"Honoh, Acrobatics!" The Fletchinder put his Gale Wings ability to work and performed a series of acrobatic feats before dive bombing Machoke for a brutal hit, knocking it out.
"Machoke, return; Mienfoo, you're up!" Korrina switched the downed Machoke for her Mienfoo. "Mienfoo, Calm Mind!"
"Honoh, Acrobatics once more!" Honoh performed a few more acrobatic feats, during that time, letting off a bright glow and looking like a meteorite while it was metamorphosing. The glow subsided and Mienfoo was struck by a Talonflame and knocked out.
"Mienfoo, return; Lucario, you're up!" Korrina switched the fallen Mienfoo for her Lucario. "Lucario, Close Combat!"
"Honoh, time to use that new move! Overheat!" Lorrina activated her keystone and Lucario had mega evolved. In spite of the mega evolution, Honoh was faster as he let off a searing flame that inundated the Mega Lucario for a critical hit and left behind a knocked out normal Lucario. Shiranui had won the Rumble Badge.

Shiranui went to sleep thinking about what Korrina could possibly put against him.
Shiranui did some special training as well. He was also thinking of strategies for Korrina's gym and devised some for three of his Pokémon.
Shiranui applauded as well.
